First of all I'd like to say that my latest piece by Greg Sumii (an Alphonse Mucha based piece) is still under construction so to speak, so I won't post pics until it's done (even though it's already so gorgeous I cried lol)... Secondly, Liquid Fetish is such a gem in the city of Fresno, I am appalled at the lack of reviews and the negative reviews on Yelp. I can only wonder if haters/competition have left bad remarks for reasons not exactly on the up and up.. In any case, I couldn't be more pleased with my experiences at Liquid Fetish. Everyone there has been kind, professional (calling/texting with appointment reminders, giving appointment cards, etc) and most importantly in my opinion I think Liquid Fetish has the MOST talented crew of artists. They are a business that takes extreme pride in being able to trade on their good name by building trust with quality work and quality artists. Beyond artistry, the Liquid Fetish crew has championed community involvement not only in the art scene, beyond tattooing, but with charitable works, compassion, and kindness. From hosting art/music/mixed media events, to gathering donations for our homeless brothers and sisters on the streets during colder months, to most recently rallying the community to support the families of two artist who lost their lives too soon... Honestly I am in awe of their impact on our community, and their level of leadership and compassion. Getting work at Liquid Fetish means you are getting talented, forward thinking artists who work hard to evolve at their craft, constantly raising their game (just check out Lisa-Marie's IG for gorgeous watercolor pieces!!). It also means you are supporting a homegrown local who built an empire of artists from nothing except raw talent, which is just damn amazing... Beyond that, you can feel even better about spending your dollars at a company that is deeply involved in the community. You will not find better artists, or better people. The waitlists can get long for a reason!!!!! I really don't want to book work anywhere else because I trust the Liquid Fetish brand employees to be the best and brightest artists around, and I love their impact on my community. :) read more

This isn't a stop in whenever you get the itch for a tattoo shop. They put out exceptional work and this isn't going to be a blue light special. You get what you pay for and Greg didn't disappoint. Greg's attention to detail is what sets Liquid Fetish apart from others. Every one in the shop is very friendly. It isn't always easy to get on the books. They do have walk in Saturdays. They were really helpful when I went in trying to get a tattoo without an appointment. The prices were really reasonable. Eddie was really nice and he kept on making sure I was feeling ok throughout the whole tattoo since it was my first tattoo. Overall I think Eddie did a great job. My son passed unexpectedly in February. I wanted to find the best portrait artist available. I was totally committed and willing to travel to anywhere on the Western part of the US. My son had an in with Cecil Porter in Portland so looked into him and there was a couple more scattered in LA and the Bay Area. Someone told me about Liquid Fetish and I saw some of Greg's works and I was sold. Unfortunately like any great artist you get put on a waiting list or schedule months or even years out. Got a bird cover up by Rush (I posted the pic on here so you can see it). It turned out soooooo good. My first tattoo was a crappy "kitchen tattoo" that I let a friend do on me when I was younger and I've waited 10 year to get it covered up because I was scared I would grow to hate another tattoo but Rush does amazing work. They don't have many pictures on yelp but if you look them up on Facebook they have a ton of work on there that will blow your mind. Not only is the work amazing but they are super nice and helpful and will take all the time you need to go over exactly what you want. read more

Just got home from another appt. with Greg. As usual another outstanding sitting with him. My sweetheart and I have been getting work done by Greg for just over a year, since meeting him at Tower Tattoo. Let me say this his work is amazing! With an artist of his caliber you just won't go anywhere else. So far we have collected 7 pieces with many more to come. Right now he's working on my Led Zeppelin tribute arm, with just a little under half done it is going to be the SICEST Zeppelin tat! The one that beats any other Zeppelin tattoo anybody as ever seen. Not cool! No one to give a tattoo! They catered to people that are getting sleeves and repeat customers and told me to go to another location. Greg Sumii owns this tattoo shop. He did an incredible piece on my shoulder that is photo realistic! He has a light hand do you don't feel like you are getting shredded and he is humorous so a six hour tattoo session isn't boring! I did have to wait awhile for my artwork despite submitting it a month prior however this was only because I caught him in the middle of a shop move and tattoo convention. He gave me a generous discount to offset it and was just a real pleasure to work with and be tatted by. Will be having him do something on me again very soon! read more

Awesome place. Very clean and very professional. I have been to other tattoo parlors with friends and am not as happy with what I see. The thing about Liquid Fetish is that it is a custom tattoo shop. There is not any art on the walls where you just pick an image and boom its on your skin. This has been the BEST tattoo experience for me! Selah, the shop manager, had a consultation with me a couple of weeks prior to getting the ink done. Selah made me feel at ease immediately! I explained my idea and she took detailed notes and scheduled me to see Greg Sumii. I went yesterday (01/01/13) and WOW! Greg made me feel very comfortable and he drew what I wanted and got to work. My husband died on 1/21/13. He was a huge Raider fan and loved casinos. I decided I wanted a tattoo of a slot machine in his memory. It had to have 3 things - his name, 7's and the dates of his birth & death. This was my first tattoo and I knew it had to be done by someone highly recommended so I asked my daughter for help. Greg is the fuckin man. Best service and tattoo I've ever had. I flew in from Seattle and will not get another tattoo anywhere else. 4 seasons service with free energy drinks, soda, breaks that don't count towards your fee, and not to mention probably the best tattoo artist on the west coast. 10 minute drive from the airport which makes coming in from out of town super convenient. Also, he doesnt charge you for drawing up the tattoo like many places do. This shop makes other shops like slave to the needle and deep roots in Seattle look like amateurs. I will be back.. Afterwards he invited me to a concert/expo. Greg is a stand up guy and makes you feel like family. Also, the shop is awesome. Super clean, and the artwork on the walls is amazing. They have a number you can text to set up appointments and they are very quick to reply and readily able to answer any questions you may have. Book early as he is usually booked out about 6-8 months in advance, and rightfully so. His rate is $140 an hour which is super cheap if you are familiar with tattoo pricing. Before long he is going to be world renowned. read more
