My spouse and I live in Denver and have been looking for a house in or near Carson City. We have…read morebeen there a couple times in the last six months to look at properties. We have also been in constant contact with our agent. Long story short yesterday we agreed to make a full price offer on a property listed by Shirley Larkins. Our relator got back to us a little later and said the seller had received multiple full price offers and asked if we would be willing to amend our offer, we agreed and amended our offer above asking price. Our realtor once again reached out and said the seller would be accepting offers until 5pm on 3/30 for anyone to make their best and final offer and they would be making a decision by 10am on 3/31. We had not decided on a new offer yet as we were told we had basically a day to think about it. With all of that said this morning we were informed that the owners had accepted another offer, so we are SOL. This is bad business on Shirley's behalf and flirts with breach of contract seen all of the above is in writing.

Having dealt with several agents in the past, I was prepared to expect mediocrity yet my wife and I were absolutely surprised within the few moments of first meeting Shirley. She not only is vivacious and full of positive energy but she listened to our needs/wants for our next house. We didn't spend a lot of time looking at any houses because she liked it, but found homes that WE liked. I believe we only actually looked at three homes before knowing we wanted one of them. Call it a bit of luck, happenstance or whatever, but we felt so comfortable working with Shirley and finding our new house that I have to believe we came together for a reason. Fantastic service and efficient office work allowed us to present an offer to the seller which was accepted quickly and we were on our way to owning our dream house. The rest is history as they say and we loved being in our home from day one. For Yelp purposes I would have "checked in" but I don't think my house qualifies as a destination...and certainly not four years ago since this occurred! Apparently they only care about selling houses and not managing properties. They have ignored pest…read morereports and requests for months now and even completed requests that were never acknowledged. This is beyond unacceptable to have your management company continue to ignore you and falsely "complete" maintenance requests that have not been fulfilled. ESPECIALLY WITH PESTS when there are children and a pregnant woman involved. It's been over 9 days since the previous request was submitted, continue to be ignored AGAIN. I have seen the property manager has been seen drive through the parking area but not getting out of her vehicle to walk though the property. They still poor manage the property and surroundings areas. Ground maintenance didn't finish the job the last time we complained about the area being unsanitary. I had to take the time to tell the children they hired to stop looking in my car. The response I was given, "It use to be my car." which isn't an excuse to lurk in someone's vehicle. They have yet to return to pull over grown weeds from rocky areas, or trim the trees and bushes. Even though there aren't suppose to be dogs living in the premise, everywhere you look there are dog feces making the area reek an unbearable odor in the heat. They don't care about managing these apartments to the lease bit. The slumlord attitude is unreliable and untrustworthy. We will soon begin looking for a house to purchase and by their poor job here, we will not consider them for any further services. None of the tenants are happy as to how the property is managed. We are simply the only ones who know how to speak up on matters as most tenants don't have the app connected to the management company for maintenance. Very low quality, there are other real estate companies. Choose the ladder.
