As of August 28, 2025, the problem remains outstanding. I complained to the front desk when I first noticed that the air conditioning was out and my unit was exceeding the specified temperature and humidity levels set by the company. I also complained directly to the corporate office on three separate occasions. On July 1, 2025, I installed a temperature and humidity gauge inside my storage unit, and it reached a point where temperatures exceeded 99 degrees, with a corresponding humidity level of over 67%. For several months, temperatures consistently exceeded the temperature and humidity levels set by the Extra Storage Corp. I was informed that the part needed to repair the AC was on back order and that it was not known when the part would arrive. I received a partial refund for the month of July. If you know anyone who has a storage unit at this particular Extra Storage location, please inform them that the AC has been out of order for months and to inspect their belongings for mold or other damage related to the heat and humidity. I will try to get some compensation for my damaged property, but some things cannot be replaced, like some of the old family pictures that are destroyed beyond repair. I included screenshots of my temperature and humidity gauge for the months of July and August.
