So, I contacted the Tomah Veterinary Clinic after my wife received a call stating I can no longer bring my dog to get his nails cut. During my call to them, the "technician supervisor" stated after a previous visit to get his nails trimmed, I called after the services and was swearing at the technician due to my dogs' nails were excessively bleeding. They stated I said, "that my truck looked like a f**cking murder scene". When asked if this conversation was recorded, the technician originally stated it was, then when asked to produce the conversation she stated the calls were not recorded. This would mean it was her word against mine. During that conversation I did state my truck looked like a murder scene due to the amount of blood in my backseat, but I did not swear at her. I expressed my concern of their unprofessionalism for not telling me they had cut his nails to short hitting his quick on multiple nails. It was stated a different technician would be cutting his nails after this incident. I have taken my dog to be treated and have picked up his medication since then without a single discussion regarding this incident. My wife called last week and scheduled the appointment for his nails to be done, again, without any discussion of the above mentioned. His appointment was supposed to be today, and as I stated above my wife received a phone call stating due to my demeanor after the last visit, they would no longer be cutting his nails "per the doctors." I called the clinic back and spoke with the technician supervisor who stated she was the one who took the above-mentioned call originally and was the one who cut his nails during that time. I expressed during the conversation I wanted to speak with the owners and was told "when they have time, they will get to me." at which point she abruptly ended the conversation.
As any pet owner/lover you would agree, if a clinic caused injury to an animal, they should be notifying the owner of the situation not trying to hide it. Only to be realized upon arriving home and seeing blood all over the back seat of my vehicle. The clinic did not offer their apologies to me for injuring my dog but decided to wait until the day of his appointment to call and cancel. A professional company would have taken this up at the time of the original incident when they were confronted with the situation.
WOULD NOT RECCOMEND!!!! read more
