Less than TWO years ago, they installed a new compressor at our woman's boutique in Greenwich Connecticut. Now, for the SECOND time, it has completely failed. I contacted the manufacturer directly, who confirmed there's a FIVE-YEAR WARRANTY on the unit. Yet Gault refuses to honor the warranty or the contract. Instead of standing behind the equipment they chose and installed, they're washing their hands of it and trying to make me foot the bill again. This is not just bad service -- it's dishonest and unprofessional. They're more than happy to take your money, but when something goes wrong, they disappear. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. A few companies responded. One company was booked until September while another company declined. A third company was able to show up the same day to measure and provide an estimate. MacVane Electrical was the fourth company to reply but was the quickest to provide an estimate after I texted pictures of the circuit boxes as well as an approximate distance. I was hesitant due to lack of online reviews. Phil (Sr.) quickly responded in the same evening with an estimate as well as a commitment to show up the next day to do the work. Phil (Jr) arrived the next day (Tuesday) as promised along with Ray, and both got the work done in about 2 hours. Both are super nice guys. Turns out Phil and his father started the company just 6 months ago, hence there are few to no reviews online. They are friendly, clean, and thoroughly explained the work that needed to be done. Phil Jr was so thorough that after he finished and left, he called the sauna company to verify the type of plug the sauna required. He then came back an hour or so later to replace the receptacle to the correct type. Mitchell Fuel service has gone down and has not kept up with the times in technology. Luckily I turn my water off before leaving for an extended period. When I called to speak with Mitchell they informed me I was called and emailed. Not true. The excuse was that it was a cold and snowy winter which disrupted their schedules. The Mitchell website is basically useless. Their is very little detail and visibility into your account. Also other companies offer remote monitoring devices that they can monitor as well as an app you can follow as well. Mitchell pricing is not the best as well. Look elsewhere for service.
