Huge store, clean and well stocked. I looked around but only found an adorable hat I had to have to keep the rain off my head on this stormy Sunday afternoon. Whoever the manager was on this day was explaining to another employee how he handled a return for her, they were both up front at check out and he was practically shouting at her and it was a bit rude and inappropriate. I was like jeez does this poor woman need to be shouted at like that. Love Tommy stuff!!! Not a big selection on sale today but still getting deals on things I need. Really wish all stores would cater to us shorter guys as 30 is the smallest inseam they have an I need a 29 or 28 with a 32 or 34 waist. I know I'm not height weight proportional but there's a lot of guys my size that have to sew pants no matter where they go because there's always a big and tall place but never a short and smart place!! I actually Felt pretty guilty being the things I did find out on sale I already had telling me I may have too much Tommy stuff but I don't care I like it. I'm a sailor I've always worn Tommy and I stop at every outlet mall I can to fill in the gaps of things I don't have. This one was packed did have some things I wanted but they weren't in my budget. COZY, CASUAL OPTIONS FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY! I met the cutest kid (actually 16 (ish) year old young man), in this store recently. This was his second day on the job and I would bet my life that this was his first job ever! He was walking around like Charlie from the original Willie Wonka movie, (full of wonder and excitement). He couldn't stop smiling and was clearly enjoying his job with that Bieber-esque sweep of hair across the front of his face. Priceless! I don't normally do the Tommy Hil. thing but today I wanted to go into the store to check it out because I thought it was a new store. Turns out, it has been here since the beginning. Whoops! Tommy actually has nice quality clothing, I just don't want logos on my clothing. It is just like wearing a tattoo because at some point, it just starts to look inappropriate and ridiculous. It was nice to see that they actually carried items that did not have the logo and are starting to mature a bit. This store carries clothing for the entire family, men, women and children. I found a section of the women's department a bit junior with an overabundance of candy colored tops. I love color but this was just a bit overwhelming and probably just needed to be broken up and displayed in a more balanced way. If you like a quilted jacket, they have a nice selection. If you are looking for something cozy, colorful and warm, this is your store. You will find a large selection of jeans and casual clothing that is perfect for the current weather. The Tommy brand is not afraid of color, regardless of gender but I would like to see more varied designs for adults and less obsession with the red, white and blue. The real surprise for me today was this really cute sleeveless dress with graphic black at the top and solid black on the bottom. It was tastefully designed without that little logo and you could keep it casual, (jumper style with tights) or dress it up, (cardigan, heels). Yes!! I would love to see this brand offer more accessories because I once purchased a Tommy Hilfiger leather bag that was a quality item and without their standard logo. It actually had a gold removable logo attached and that is the type of thoughtful design I could definitely embrace. For fans of this brand, there is no better time to shop than right now because of the deep discounts especially on their more unique pieces, (gorgeous, colorful heavy-weight cardigans). I came in this store to get some clothes for my husband who likes Tommy Hilfiger. When I walked in, no one greeted me. I thought perhaps they were busy, and didn't think much of it. I then proceeded to look through the racks of clothing by the door on the men's side to find dress shirts in his size. I kept hearing, "Hello, welcome to Tommy Hilfiger". I was surprised, since I didn't hear a word when I walked in. I then glanced over at the door to see if maybe I was hearing things. Then I noticed that all of the people being greeted were Caucasian. The greeters on the other hand, were dark skinned people of what we categorize in the US as Hispanic descent. What was interesting about it was I was looking for help and no one came over to help me find my items or ask me if I had needed help. All of the workers were people that looked to be of Hispanic descent. I noticed they were servicing other people in the store that had White skin. It is pretty obvious that the workers in this store have assimilated in what they think in American culture is commonplace discrimination against Blacks. Unfortunately for them, they don't realize that Americans are not a monolith and that type of racism belongs to a small subset of people here. I want the workers to know that in America, we the people have bled Red white and blue. Many of us of all races have fought in the military and defended our country and rights for the people. YOU, do not get to come here and feel entitled to treat the citizens badly because you are insecure in the fact, that you have no lineage in this great country. Yes, we have Slavery and other history that is bad, but we still share a common culture with our brothers and sisters in the south. When I break bread with my fellow native southerners, the food is familiar as is our religions and language. Tommy Hilfiger, you should be ashamed to have your workers treat American citizens this way. The bare minimum should be a greeting of every customer. You don't have to kiss my you know what, but an acknowledgement of my presence is an expectation. I will never shop at this store again, because I do not feel welcome or valued as a customer. read more
