Although it was expensive, the dress was beautiful and definitely worth it. I had bought the dress, but unfortunately, it was too small. So, I decided to buy it and get it altered by a seamstress. The seamstress did a great job with the alterations, and she hand-made my veils, too. However, the issue arose when my dress was ready and I left it at the store to be steamed and delivered on my wedding day. This was a perk that was explained to my mother, my sister, and me when I initially tried the dress on. But, to my surprise, I received a call a few days before my wedding day, and they informed me that the store doesn't offer professional steaming or delivery. I was shocked, frustrated, and disappointed that we had been lied to in such a distasteful fashion. With only a few days left before my wedding, I didn't have the mental or emotional energy to deal with this let-down. My sister and mother were also upset at having been put in such a tight situation with only hours before the wedding day. We had expected what we were told: that the store would steam my dress and even deliver it on my wedding day so that it would be one less thing for us to worry about. I believe in good business, especially when thousands of dollars are being spent. I will not be making any further purchases from this store. While the dresses are beautiful, I cannot tolerate dishonest sales practices and unfulfilled promises.

My dress is very intricate, it has 5 separate layers of fabric, beading, lace, appliqué, boning, you name it. I was incredibly nervous about finding a seamstress that would be able to make the needed alterations in 4 months, while keeping the integrity of the dress, and making sure it fit perfectly. I found Hanans through various reviews on Google, Yelp, and my favorite place to get the real reviews, Reddit. People love this woman. And I 1000% know why and couldn't agree more. I'd go to battle for this woman. I think I had around 11 appointments with her total? Which is absurd. She was able to work around my travel-heavy job, addressed every little concern or question I had, and gave me the most perfect dress that I could have ever hoped for. I could not be happier with the end result, we ended up going down quite a few sizes or so from the original and it still looks like the dress I bought, just one that's been custom fitted to me. I just want to first point out, that customer service was awful and they made me feel uncomfortable. Here is why, as soon as I walk in I was not greater even though there was three people on the floor. I mind you, they greeted at least 3 customers that walked in before me. I am not sure if it's because I wasn't dress casual. I just got off work so I had my uniform on and a work shoes. But for the 20 minutes I was looking for clothes and shoes. No one bothered to ask me if I need anything. I went straight to the shoes section because I saw this shoes that I liked. I know the lady that works there saw me but she left, I needed to ask what sizes they have left. So instead of them coming up to me, I had to follow them around to ask. Then, I have noticed that all of the girls that was working there asked everyone if they need a fitting room or would like to start one. They passed me three times and no one came and asked me if I need a fitting room. I'm telling you i was next to this girl who was also shopping and they (girls that works there) asked her if she wants to start a fitting room. I ended up buying this romper without trying it on. Then when I was about to check out I was standing in front of the cashier for at least fives minutes waiting for someone to check me out. Two girls that was working there was talking in front of me. I had to finally ask the girl that I was ready to check out. Then after that, they started being nice to me. I just feel very disappointed because I have never in my life felt the way I felt coming to this store. Part of me feels like they were discriminating me because of how I look and how I was dress. I was in my uniform so it wasn't the prettiest thing. But anyway I just wanted to let you all know how I felt after shopping here. Maybe they will have a better customer service if I was dress up.

I got a fast response via message from them so I decided to give them a try. They told me to bring the right shoes so they could measure accurately. I wouldn't have thought of that! The location is easy to find right off 141 and parking is a breeze in front. They have good hours, open til 630 and even open on weekend. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and her mom- by name since I'd made a arranged time they were expecting us! There was a really nice arrangement of masks while we waited to browse. Some of these were made with beautiful fabrics for formal events and in all the colors you could dream of. My daughter put on the gown for measuring and she was made to feel comfortable (this was her very first experience at a tailor service.) she was complimented on her look as well. The dress was ready in a quick timeframe and absolutely on time for our event. My daughter was pleased with the result- and attention to detail. The hem looks extremely professional. I recommend this business and will be back soon with more alterations.
