Dive bar vibes for sure, but it's bigger than I would expect for a dive. Tons of games like pool, darts, pinball, and even a beer pong machine for two players, never seen that before, but surprisingly fun. Machines were about a dollar a game, so nothing crazy. Street parking was free for a couple hours where I was and there's indoor and outdoor seating. Women's bathroom had some hilarious messages and divorce dad music playing constantly. I liked it, my mom, not so much. I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area and want a to just chill and drink.

Currently $2.25 for a draft, $2.50 for a bottle, $2.75 for regular well drinks during the daytime until 7 p.m. It opens at 8 a.m. Now if you like dive bars (no food), and an array of real characters, this is the place for you. It seems most of the regulars are from the area and it has more than its quota of alcoholics, but they are friendly and have fascinating stories about their lives. It is a comfortable place to spend some time and the bartenders are, in my experience, terrific. No judgment, no politics, no fancy clothing, no pretense, just human beings who share their lives together. Come as you are.

However, my experience on Wednesday was completely unacceptable. When I walked in and stood at the bar, there was a white female bartender and a Hispanic male bartender working. The female bartender made no effort whatsoever to acknowledge my presence. She did not greet me, ask if I needed anything, or even make eye contact. Instead, she simply moved to another register and ignored me entirely. The only reason I was eventually served was because the Hispanic male bartender noticed me, because he came in, greeted me, and promptly took my drink order. He was professional, attentive, and the only bright spot of an otherwise terrible experience. As a patron staying at the hotel next door and someone who has spent money at this establishment multiple times this week, I find this level of service unacceptable. There are plenty of bars in the area with staff who understand basic customer service and know how to treat guests with respect. I don't know the name of the female bartender who ignored me, but based on this experience alone, I would not recommend visiting on Wednesday nights--or any night she is working. Customers deserve to be acknowledged and treated with courtesy, and unfortunately that was not the case tonight.
