Positives: Tom was very responsive via text and email - he was one of the first electricians to respond and had one of the most competitive offers. He gave me specific Amazon links and directions about purchasing a switch which helped me feel confident in his skillset and also in the products I was purchasing. In addition, he helped me solve a mystery about some other lights in my house (turns out I just couldn't find the switch). Room for improvement: On the first day we arranged for the job, Tom was late to arrive and we had to reschedule because it passed the time when I could be home. However, he worked to make it right and showed up on time at the next arranged time. He also waived the switch fee to compensate me for the inconvenience, which I appreciated. Other areas for improvement are that they could have cleaned up better after they left - there was still a lot of debris on the ground and I had to mop twice. And the switch was not completely flush with the wall (they did try to make it right and get it flush with the wall after I pointed it out but it's not perfect, I will have to have someone adjust it). Would I recommend? Yes, I would recommend Fortech. I was happy with their service and would hire them again for an electrical job at my primary home or rental properties.

The estimate was black and white- a quantitative, itemized count of what would need to be done and how much each one cost. Colleen coordinated with us in advance on timing, permits, etc. and I can't say enough about how great Mike and his team were. They were here for 2 weeks. We knew what to expect each day - who was coming, at what time, what they were doing. My husband and I both work from home and we have 2 dogs so thought it would maybe be chaotic. But it went so smoothly. That fix lasted five minutes while they drove off. I called to have Tech back but they refused and instead talked about additional charges and talked about coming back days later ? By end of day my home electric issue was fixed (By a different reputable company) for half the amount of money Martella charged. ​I called their dispatchures 2 x this week to get a refund instead got the run around. I did not want to write a bad review but this incompetent Martella outfit left me know choice to report along with filing complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Martella is the worst.
