I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! For my first time running through this specific facility... Nice equipment, timely and courteous service! But most of all! NO Rail system to bump up against my ride! My vehicle is a bit lower and sometimes bumps against those stupid rails! This was a conveyer belt style system, with no guide rail! Over all they wash did a good job of cleaning the vehicle. I have no complaints. I'll be back. I will also have my wife use the facility and I plan of checking out the App and do the monthly subscription! Thank you! You're now my regular stop!! read more

My experience mirrors many of those in this site. The wash damaged my truck. It ripped the badge off the hood. They said that they would contact me. They never did. When I called, I spoke to a young man who would not provide his name. He would not proivde me his manager's name. What are they trying to hide? He did tell me that they would not cover the damages to my truck as he believed that the badging was separated before I entered the wash. This is not the case. The truck is less than two months old. They get the two stars. The vacuums never really work well and the last time the car wash ripped a piece off from my car. I understand they cannot guarantee your car won't be damaged but this seems a little obvious. The kid working had to get a ladder to remove part of the car wash from my car. The washing mechanism had wrapped around my roof bar and ripped it out. I can only imagine the cost to get this fixed so I am going to have to say the value is not great. read more

Horrible customer service. My rear a blade got destroyed at the location on Memorial and I've called 3 times and spoke to random kids telling me they will have the manager or owner call me ASAP. NEVER happened. I sent emails and STILL have gotten no replies. I walked in there and spoke to a kid and he told me the same line as the others over the phone. "We will let them know and they will call you back. I'm getting to the point of getting pretty angry and fed up. This has been going on for about a month now. They obviously do not care about the community that supports them. I encourage you to don't even give this place a shot if you're considering. This is so unprofessional and inconsiderate. I hate that it's come to this with me leaving this honest and truthful bad review but they deserve it and encouraged me to do so. read more

Tommy's used to be great .... But recently they raised their top tier monthly membership to almost 50$ a month ..... that's the most expensive in Murfreesboro .... I was a remember for a few years and went often ... there were often times the car was would leave my car streaky and I'd have to go through a second time .... At first, I was very pleased, although their frequent customer package is not a good value. A competitor down the street offers unlimited washes for the price of a single wash every month. Tommy's requires two visits per month to get your value. During construction, they announced that their chain was a local "Ruthie's" popularity award winner. So it seemed to be good. However, I had a scary incident the other day. I was used to car washes that have "dogs" on their conveyor that push your car along and maintain spacing. I'm used to the instructions, "Hands off wheel, In neutral, foot off brake". Tommy's has plain flat top conveyors with nothing to control spacing. When you pull up, the sign simply says, "Stop". I did. But my car kept rolling towards the vehicle in front of me. I panicked, not knowing what to do and it was hard to see what was really happening with the brushes whirling in front of me. There was no attendant to guide me onto the conveyor or advise me what to do with my brake. Better signage and more attention to approaching customers would improve service. I'm not going back because I do not know how to safely operate my vehicle through the process. read more

The Hwy 96 location is friendly. Always helpful. It's a crap shoot if the vacuums work at any stall. you can't tell a difference in the works vs the quality option. The tire shine looks no different now that I have downgraded to quality. I wish they would take a brush to the back of the tailgate on pickups like Mr Bee's used to do back in the day. The trash is always emptied out at the stalls and the area looks real clean. I use this location because it's the closest to my house, so that is convenient. read more

Wash at your own risk. This car wash will damage your vehicle and they will refuse to fix or compensate you for damages caused to your vehicle while in their car wash. The car wash ripped off the trim around my front driver wheel. I filed a claim with the car wash and was contacted by James. After their "review" they determined that they couldn't do anything about the damage due to my vehicle having "prior damage" where the trim got pulled off. There is no prior damage to my vehicle, I even requested proof of their "findings" to show the prior damage, but they refuse to provide any evidence of it. The photos that were taken show there is no damage to my car at the car wash while I filed the claim (other than the trim being pulled off) Avoid this place if you don't want any damage done to your vehicle. read more

If this is what you want after going thru a car wash, Tommy's is the place for you. Car was not clean, I asked them to rewash, they refused. The young man working the office refused to look at my car or rewash it and stated that they only remove 80% of the dirt. I told him I wanted to talk with the owner, he finally reluctantly called the owner who said exactly the same thing. These are photos I took of the car sitting in front of their office. They apparently know they can't get the dirt off so they decline a rewash, saying if it didn't come off the first time, it wouldn't come off the second. read more

Aug 4th 2025. Do not go to Tommys on Memorial this week..there is no vacuum or mat wash and there is no discount

I brought my Suburban here after all the snow, ice, and salt. I needed a fast clean and this was right where I was. As far as cleaning goes it did a decent job on the top of the sides and front. The lower areas and especially the back was not done well at all. I considered going back through but two reasons why I didnt: 1. The wiping mechanism didn't go down far enough so no matter how many times I go through it's not gonna work. And 2 is the most important reason: I'm scared to. When you come out of the wash tunnel you're on a hill. That hill is covered in wax and soap. I kid you not I started sliding sideways as soon as you have to cut right. I continued to slide almost to the grass median. I thought I might go up the curb it hit the sign. It's a really bad design. And my tired are good tires. New last year and minimal wear. So this is 100% on the businesses inability to keep that hill exit clean. Tommy's didn't work for me and I wouldn't ever come out of that tunnel again. read more

First of all I will start of by saying I very seldom leave reviews however the experience that I received from this local car wash was unacceptable and disappointing seeing that I literally chose this location as it mentioned it was locally owned and I had recently purchased a new home nearby. I was initially happy to see and support a locally owned business so I signed up for a new membership there. On my second visit I noticed that my vehicle had been damaged afterwards. I immediately notified the staff, even the young man that filed the claim told me that he was there when the incident occurred and had footage of he ordeal. I awaited a call back from the owner for over a week in which I never received and had to end up going back up to the car wash to follow up on the damage claim. I even provided them with a quote from the local dealership for the repair cost so they had something to reference. The second young man was very short and dismissive, adamantly telling me that this was not some that would be covered even though I had been told previously it would be addressed. He didn't seem to have any intention to relay my concerns to the owner ask I pleaded with him to have the owner contact me. Long story short the owner never bothered to contact me and obviously has no intention to do so nor repair my vehicle that was damaged at his establishment. Now the only recourse I have is to ether pay for the repairs myself or take the owner to court I do not wish to do either but I refuse to pay for some that was not my fault. Beware of patronage to the local business, they do not tear their customers fairly and may leave you with repair unwanted cost. Honestly if I could give them a zero I would, so disappointing that this was one of my first experiences in the new town. I would not recommend this car wash to anyone as there are numerator choose from on the same street. And I will continue to spread my dissatisfaction to anyone who may be in search of a local car wash this place is beyond unprofessional. read more

Tommy"s Car Wash is a cool and futuristic car wash that I highly recommend unlike most car washes where you have to align your wheel for your car to be guided, this car wash has a conveyer type track you drive on that take you through a "back to the future" kind of car wash! My old gripe is there's not enough of vacuum stations at this location and the suction is very weak. If the stations are full, you either have to wait or come back so make sure you have time to wait or there's open stations before you go through! read more

Spent 20 dollars to have my truck washed and dried, but my truck was still really wet. Trying to figure out what those spinning brushes are for at the end of the wash. I thought it would have helped dry my vehicle but it never touched my vehicle. I did spend 20 bucks I thought I would have gotten better service. This car wash has been declining since the pandemic yet the price seems to go up every other month. My car is never clean anymore and today I showed it to the owner. He was arrogant and refused to take my complaints seriously. I had made a previous review to which a reply was given that asked me to stop by and talk to him about the problem. He said that was auto generated by the company and that he never responded to any email, rating or phone call. When I got home to cancel my membership, I found that my account has been charged an extra $20 a few weeks ago. There was no explanation, request or approval for this charge. These owners are terrible and they won't get my business again after being a member since it opened. read more

Just moved to Murfreesboro 2 weeks ago, car needed washing. Decided to go to Tommy's Car Wash, nice and close to my new home. I drive a 2016 black Ford Explorer, which was pretty dirty from the rain last week. Fast enough service, but I also stopped to use the vacuum which had absolutely no suction, so that was worthless. Didn't notice until I got home that my rear window and my entire back lift door were still dirty. Had to clean it myself. I mean it was like I went through the car wash with the front of my car, but not with the rear. I will try another car wash the next time. read more

So first things first, I actually loved this car wash the first time, but the reason I'm giving it a 1 star is because of the 2nd time and the ONLY time besides the first one that I had washed my car ANYWHERE, I have a brand new Chrysler 300 2020 and this car wash scratched the crap out of my paint all over the car, this happened almost 2 months ago now and after calling multiple times to speak to the owner about what they could do to fix that, I have received no answer or call back and just keep getting ignored and even the clerk that took my statement the day it happened admitted that it was there fault and that it was definitely damage from them, so I'm writing this review to warn people to avoid this place if they like a clean car that doesn't get scratched up everywhere and also won't get a response from the owner(s) after calling repeatedly(13 times to be exact) and speaking to multiple employees about what to do, so here I am issuing a warning to all not to go here, thank you for reading! read more

At 57 I have been to many car washes in my lifetime.  This one REALLY let me down and the owners, guess what, don't care.  Their carwash scratched the full side of my $70000 truck, its a plastic scratch that can be buffed out but they denied it.  What makes it worse?  The guy said let me go inside and look at video of it, 25 minutes later he comes out with a super grainy video showing a blurry WHITE scratch running down side of my vehicle.  I asked myself, did he just fabricate a video to get me to leave?  My vehicle had no scratch on it prior to entering this wash and they are not honest enough to deal with it.  Shame on them. read more

I went to the carwash June 11, 2022 it took two week for the owner Anita to get back to me but anyway I use the mat washer my mat got stuck and the workers help me get it out but they use the Crowbar and the crowbar put a hole in my WeatherTech mat and the owner first of all never apologize when she did call two weeks later and then she had nerves to use the words you people and girl to me how professional was that and she never apologized and told me she couldn't pay for it because they wasn't supposed to be put in there anyway but I never seen the sign until I went back and I had to look on top of the machine I probably want her to buy me four mats and I said why would I want you to buy me four mats and your machine only put a hole in one of my mats so she told me she could not buy them I would never go to that car wash again and she's very unprofessional and she don't care about her customers by using the words you people and girl I never met her a day in my life all I have to say is beware when you go there because she doesn't pay for anything I would read reviews before I go there that's terrible and then she does not train her workers so they need to be trained if they want to be trained probably some of the things would not happen the signs she told me was on the machine it wasn't visible in the front it was on top of the machine which you have to stick your head through a hole to see it which is wrong God bless her I will never go there again read more
