Received an email back, paid as they requested, and received a date for Aug 27 at home for 11am. Low and behold, they text me 15 minutes prior saying Cody is on his way and then minutes later, they text an excuse that the car has a flat tire. Can't AAA it and need to reschedule for the next day which I declined and requested my money back. They said they will that evening and obviously did not. I called, left a voicemail, emailed and to no avail, no response. I then went onto Yelp and then thoroughly read the reviews and see this story has been played out many times. I'm off to report them to the State of Consumer Affairs which is time wasted but rather leave this review for any potential future victims to read before buying. Do NOT trust this company. I filed a complaint with BBB. Owner's response was: "Owner was diagnosed with Epilepsy and has been in and out of the hospital ever since Feb 2020. Owner has been unable to complete this job due to his medical condition and motoring skills. Owner does not have the business at the moment due to everything mentioned above. Plans to be back in business by September of 2021." Epilepsy is not curable, so how does he plan to "be back in business" in Sept. If you look at FB posts and Yelp reviews, you will see that he is still "in business": advertising services and taking people's money. DO NOT prepay for anything from this business. I'm rating this company one star only because zero stars isn't an option. To be honest, I probably would have given 4-5 stars for the car wash itself, but from the moment I started to interact with this company I've had a problem with it. First, when I tried to book this company they reached out via text. I personally like to be able to speak to someone over the phone because I might have questions and things tend to get lost in translation over text sometimes. But no one EVER calls back or answers the phone. Then when I was able to make an appointment they asked me to pay for my service upfront. I understand times are progressing and things are handled differently depending on how businesses choose to be ran, but I have never heard of someone charging a fee in total before they even arrive at your house to complete the service. A deposit perhaps, but not the entire thing. Mind you, we had two cars that needed to be washed so it was $200 he received before any work was done. The day of the service Cody showed up about 20-30 mins late because allegedly a tree fell on top of his van or something and he had to deal with the insurance company etc. so I gave him a pass. While he was at my house I inquired about a hard water spot removal service and he said he could come back that Wednesday to complete the job for me. Wednesday comes and nobody shows up. I had to text him myself to see what was happening otherwise I'm not sure he would have reached out. So He tells me he's running behind and wouldn't be able to make it, but he could come the next day and do it. I agreed to it of course because I had once again prepaid for the service. Thursday comes and he has ANOTHER excuse as to why he couldn't make it and asks me to reschedule AGAIN. At that point I was fed up and asked for a refund. When I asked for the refund he says he will complete refund as soon as he got back to the office "if he couldn't make it tomorrow" which I replied No because I was not available. Now here we are and I'm still waiting for my refund. I also forgot to mention before I booked the service by sending the initial $200, they sent me a text saying they were a reputable company and that I was basically competing for the 11am slot with another customer and if I wanted that time I needed to send the money ASAP. Well I feel silly as hell not reading these Yelp reviews because clearly this is an issue with this horrible company. I highly do NOT recommend. read more

Complete waste of my time and possible scam. I booked and paid Cody with Clean Way Detail on September 23rd. He scheduled me for Monday September 28th at 1pm. He missed his first scheduled date /time and after me calling his cell phone several times throughout after 1PM his girlfriend finally text back saying he was at the hospital with his nephew and he forgot his phone at home. I'M not saying his nephew wasn't at the hospital and if he was I hope he is OK, but he never called and I already paid. He tried to reschedule for 3:30 in the afternoon for Thursday Oct 1st. I have a Tahoe with 3 rows of leather seats and had booked the works. Interior, exterior, carpets shampoo, leather seats conditioned, engine detailed, wheels and headlight restoration. I did not feel he could accomplish what I was paying for before sunset at 6:22 pm. I asked for a refund. He asked if we could reschedule. I was going on vacation so the next date that worked for me was Monday Oct 12th. We set it in stone for noon. He emailed me yesterday and said it was supposed to rain. I asked hime to pick a day that looked good. He said "The next 10 days are clear. I could be there at 9 for you in the morning." and rescheduled for today October 13th at 9 am. Is was Cody's choice of time. I said " Great, I'll see you at 9am." He confirmed the time yesterday at 11.22 am and said "Looking forward to it!" It is now Oct 13 at 10:30 service has still not been provided. No call or message from Cody. I had to call capital one and dispute the charge since no service has every been performed and he stood me up twice without calling. Another weird thing with Cody with Clean Way Detail is that I have called and left messages but have never actually spoken to him, He only emails. Only his girlfriend text. Even when I would leave a message asking him to call me or when I text his phone asking his "girlfriend" to have hime call me - he never calls or text - only email. Since he had me pay upfront, the whole thing leaves me feeling like it was some scam. read more

It looks better than I anticipated given that I went for the best deal in town! I couldn't be happier with the result and will definitely use them again in the future. They asked me to pre-pay via Venmo and then when my appointment time came around, no one called or texted to get my address or to tell me they were running late...nothing. After waiting for 15 minutes after my appointment time, I texted and received a response 15 minutes after saying that the guy had been in a car accident and was in the hospital. While I'm very sorry to hear that, I would have appreciated a phone call or text saying they weren't going to be able to make it. Instead, I had to text them and tell them I want my money back in order for them to respond. I'm on a tight schedule and this was literally the only time I have available in the next couple of weeks. I would have given him 5 stars for the quality of his work, but we had some trouble with timely communication and required multiple reschedulings. My wife bought a Groupon for their Deluxe Plus service. Shampooing the seats didn't come with this package, and that is fine. However I just came in from putting seat covers on the car, and found that they did not vacuum the areas behind the rear seats (very easy to get to if they had adjusted the seats at all), and they was all kinds of crap built up around the seat belt buckles, (again easy to vacuum out.) I don't expect show room quality, but for a package priced at $145 I do expect attention to detail, when having a car detailed. The package also states they would spend 2 -3 hours cleaning the car, yet they were "done" in an hour. This is after telling her that they were behind on work, due to recent weather. We have to very sheddy dogs and he was able to get up 97% of the hour and offered to do a touch up visit for us free of charge. I scheduled a time with them, they changed it on me last minute and then asked to change it again and I put my foot down and said no. They never showed up so I reached out and they said it was because I didn't pay my invoice prior. Why would you not give me a quick call and say hey your on the schedule today but we need payment to confirm your appointment? Well idk but they didn't. They then told me they would fit me in later that day if it worked for me but for sure the next day. Promised me a call within a few hours.... never heard from them. Made up a ton of excuses as to why then contacted me the next day and said they cant get me in until the end of the week and basically told me to go to a car wash and do it myself. All that to say they are extremely unprofessional, have terrible communication and could care less about you and your schedule.
