My daughter gave up a school vacation so that she could get in her "class time." She was there 8 hours a day for 5 days. They cram as many students as possible into a small, windowless room. She did not at all feel adequately prepared for the permit test. While taking practice permit tests, she discovered many of the topics had never even been discussed in class. Once she obtained her permit, actually securing "driving time" is ridiculous. She logged onto the computer and the first available time was TWO MONTHS LATER! She was able to get one spot a month for three months. They offer no driving times on the weekends. I have tried repeatedly calling the school and no one ever answers the phone or returns my calls. I would never recommend this school to anyone.

Two of our kids have gone through their school now (5 years apart - 1 in person out of Weymouth and 1 virtual out of Hanson). Driving hours, while they had long wait times (about 4 weeks in between lessons), were very doable to get it all done in the 6 months in between getting their permit and being eligible to take the test. They are very accommodating and willing to move things around to make it work. The actual road test was in the parking lot of their Hanson office, which was very convenient. Again, they were very willing to work with our schedule, to avoid the cancellation fee. I would highly recommend this driving school!

The team at South Shore Driving was always willing to answer my many questions. As a first time parent of a new driver this experience was clear and easy to understand. I never had any issues identifying driving hours and often would receive a call with last minute cancellations For my son. My advice to anyone looking for a driving school is to look no further. The level of customer service is the best! I will tell friends and family looking g for a driving to school to call South Shore Driving in Hanson or Weymouth.

I avoided highways completely while living in the city and hadn't been on one in ages. I moved back to the suburbs last year and needed to be on the highway again, and therapy could only help my anxiety so much. Tyler helped me get back on the highway. He was super patient, answered all my questions, and never made me feel judged. He walked me through merging, lane changes, keeping a steady speed, and dealing with the pressure of other drivers. I really needed someone calm and professional to help me build my confidence again, and he was so helpful. This was about six months ago, and I've been driving on the highway confidently ever since! I reached out to a bunch of driving schools in the area and Sullivan was the only one that was responsive to working with someone like me--not just teenagers learning to drive for the first time. So glad I found them! :) I cannot thank them enough.

Three years ago, I took driver's ed here. Their website said that they "catered to nervous drivers." I was very nervous, so this comforted me. This was not my experience. I strongly advise parents and prospective drivers to find another driving school.
