Waking thru the door no one spoke but three barbers look like mad scientist working on heads as if they were battling each other. I notice the shop was extremely clean. When it was my turn I sat with the guy from insta who wore the Bane mask. I have no idea why he wears it but his savvy insta marketing wasn't just for show. Yet the Bane mask worked because lord knows I had a good time taking pics while he was cutting me and sending it to SC, FB, and insta I got a real kick out of it. Love the fact the 90% of my haircut I faced the mirror, my barber was overjoyed to show his craftsmanship off to his customer. I noticed they sold BEARD PRODUCTS and when people came in to buy them (happens often), they stop and sold them the product. I was wondering if they were going to.... STOP. Yes they use the same product on their customers with the cut (MT FAVORITE PART). During my cut the barber was very meticulous about every strand of hair to the point he finished each section with scissors. In prior military I've lived in Wisconsin, Germany, Hawaii, North Carolina, and now Texas I've set in tons of barber chairs. (This is the part when you believe I go to far with this review, it's cool tho because my barber went well beyond to far with his skill set for the price) THIS WAS THE BEST CUT IVE EVERY HAD IN MY LIFE. At cash out I owed $50 with a style cut, beard trim, razor line, and some fiber work (google it). I gave the man EVERYTHING I HAD IN MY POCKET (and I felt like I should have gave more. Their description, "Grooming studio for men" is a nice tight way of saying "Come hang out in our man cave and get your hair cut". I didn't know what to expect walking into this place, but I was thoroughly blown away. The waiting area looks like the ultimate man's living room. The receptionist offered to take my jacket and make myself at home. There's a leather sofa, a coffee table with some manly magazines on it, a giant flat-screen TV playing sports with also a PS3 hoked up, and a bar. Yes a bar. That bar is used for them to offer you a drink from which is included in the "Alpha Male" service package. When it's your turn, the stylist takes you over to a chair and you have a quick consultation about what you'd like done. After that you're over to a station where you wash your hands and they do a paraffin wax hand dip. Next, the stylist will get you seated at the sink. You get a quick facial rub down and you're face is wrapped in a hot towel. While your face and hands are basking in the warmth you get your hair washed and scalp massaged. Once this is all complete it's on to the cut. The cut was the most attention my hair has ever gotten in my entire life. My hair is pretty short, so it mostly involves clippers to get it cut. I'm not sure how many different guards she used but she sure made sure everything was blended perfectly. Best haircut I've ever had. The Alpha Male service is $45 before tax and tip which is extremely reasonable in my opinion for everything you get.
