He said they had a spat of recent storms that caught him up - which is completely reasonable - and that he'd head there on Saturday. Saturday EOD comes and I don't hear back. My husband reaches out to say hey, if you're just too busy please just let us know because we have a timeline we just have to work within. He calls back and says I didn't make it today, I'll go tomorrow (Sunday). Sunday comes and he sends us a text message at 7 am (we're on PST, which he knows) asking for the address, which I provided the previous three times I spoke to him. We didn't get the message until 11:30 am when we first went to our phones for the day. We text back the address and he says "I'll pass. I was up there earlier today", like I missed the chance to work with him. But I provided the address three times. He missed his own timing estimate three times. Many things can be true at once. Eric and Dontae worked really hard all day removing English ivy,…read moreweeds and rosebush roots from my yard. They were courteous and did all they could do to get the job done in one visit. Even saying that they underestimated what it would take to get it all done and I appreciated that candor in place of overpromising. The price was fair and I recommend this company for removal. What I learned is that I should have broken the work up instead of expecting everything to be done well in one visit. Moving quickly, four bushes were removed that shouldn't have been, the grass is still overgrown (but better) and clean up was still needed. There was just no time and they had already worked a full day. Daquan said they would make up for it by giving me a free cut in the future so we'll see. Overall, good for removal and hard yard work. I'm so glad that part is over and now we replant and landscape.
