Amazing service from start to finish. Within 30 minutes of hearing the tree fall on the roof, I was on the phone and online to find someone to help. My 1st call was to Meinhart and there was a representative at my home so quickly, the storm was still blowing! They called to say they could start the following day. I was nervous but hopeful, given the reviews here on Yelp. I had nothing to worry about, they were there bright and early. There was a big change of plans when they realized the tree was unsafe, as it had cracked to the base and everything at the top had to come off. They were great about everything and able to accommodate the changes needed. Super helpful in explaining the process, taking photos for insurance and covering the hole in the roof. There was another storm a couple days later and the tarp was still secure. I highly recommend this company and will look to them for any tree service needs I might have in the future. read more

Meinhart's full crew arrived at 8:00AM as promised with all the equipment required to complete the work as promised, which they proceeded to accomplish. We have used Meinharts a few times. A few years ago they trimmed our tall oak tree in the front of our house. This year there are no leaves at all so it's dead and we now fear that one of these storms will bring it down on our house. Last year a storm took town a huge pine and a Bradford pear. We understood the estimate didn't include taking out the stump but they left at least 6 feet of the tree on the ground. We called a few times to ask when they were going to finish and did not get a return call. They were paid thousands of dollars for a job that took less than 2 hours. I just think this was very unprofessional. read more

Tue.10/24 had appt. after waiting 2 weeks from time of estimate to schedule it. That day called for heavy rain. I called office in the morning to check if the were coming. I was told she didn't know yet, they had calls about trees being down, said she would have to call me back. 1/2 hour later received call to say they were not coming. couldn't reschedule till following week. today 10/31. I called another tree service, their estimate for same job was cheaper, but more importantly, the 2 maple trees I wanted trimmed back, they said this is Not the right time to do it, not while leaves r still on tree, it could kill it!!! I called Meinhart back and cancelled them!. Then I'm out today,my cell phone goes off and they show up today!!! I guess no one knows what's going on!!! read more

After receiving my free estimate, I was scheduled to have tree service done on 8/21. The crew showed up early that day which was great - so I thought. The crew chief then told me that they had another job to do first and they would come back around noon. FOUR DAYS LATER, they still have not returned. I spoke with three different individuals who stated they would find out what happened and call me back...... They never did. The billing department had the AUDACITY to call asking me how everything went and then asked for payment..... REALLY???!!! I do NOT recommend this company.... AT ALL!! read more

Professional Service came to give a quote and remove a tree at the Church. While waiting for the church rep to meet him, noticed smoke coming from the church building and took the time to investigate and put it out(Possibly saving the church and members inside, THANK YOU!). Gave a fair price for removal of the tree considering everyone in the town needed to have trees removed because of the storm. He arrived at the scheduled time and removed the tree on schedule. The customer service was great and the person who schedules the service is polite and friendly. When the crews left, everything was spotless. Their customer service is the absolute worst, I would never use them again. We needed a fallen tree removed and they said they would be there in the afternoon and call a half hour before their arrival - they showed up at 9 AM and didn't call us until they were there. They led us to believe that the tree and the stump would be removed on the same day - then had their stump grinder out with a different crew that day. They guaranteed that they would be back for the stump one of two days later that week - they didn't show up either day and never even called to let us know what was going on, and we never had any luck getting them to answer our calls. Then they just showed up one day the next week without ever letting us know they were coming. The only thing they were clear about and on time for was collecting payment. They did an ok job, but not good enough to make it worth the frustration. read more
