Though I was excited to learn and cut boy hair eventually, I didn't want to mess up on his first one since he'd be seeing extended relatives for the first time for Thanksgiving. Called around and found this place that makes you forget you're in Merced inside. Very cool atmosphere. Vince was our barber and he was super nice and gentle with him. He took his time to explain about the anatomy of my son's hair and the different tools he was using on him, knowing that I wanted to learn to cut in the long run. At the end, he said no charge! I took away one star for unprofessionalism. I understand it's a barber shop, but while I was in there, there were many kids, but that did not stop the guys working there from cursing and dropping F bombs.
