Not only is the caliber of dance impressive, the culture of the studio is as well. While most of the dancers have grown up there, new dancers are welcomed every year and are a part of the family in no time. They regularly do extremely well at competitions, and regularly have dancers winning titles such as Petite Mr. and Miss Dance of Michigan, Teen Miss Dance of Michigan, and Miss Dance of Michigan. I HIGHLY recommend PCPDC for anyone looking for a dance studio in the area. Whether you're looking for recreational or competition classes, this is the studio experience that you are looking for.

This situation that I am mentioning now is not the first and only time I have dealt with problems from this studio. I have dealt with years of belittlement and discouragement from this place, so much that it is a clear pattern. This is just the last and most public issue I have faced here. What started as typical teenage girl drama was left unresolved, despite many complaints and concerns shared and noticed by staff and students, quickly became very toxic and thrived in the environment that has been created at this studio. To make a long story short, the toxicity of this studio got to a point where it was negatively impacting my mental health so bad that I decided after 14 years that I needed to step away before my last recital. I did not make this decision lightly but it was clear that I was not genuinely cared about by the owner of this studio. After a very heated argument amongst the senior competitive team, Becky Simpson very unprofessionally yelled at us and told us we were ruining her recital. After I stepped away from the studio, Mrs.Becky called my personal number to deliberately attack me and my character. She went as far as calling me a "coward" for leaving the studio and told me that "I will go nowhere in the real world". She also told me she had "several" meetings with members of the studio who were "scared" of me but withheld this information from me until I decided to stand up for myself by leaving her studio. Mrs.Becky belittled me to the point where my dad had to get involved to stand up for me, and Mrs.Becky hung up the phone. Mrs.Becky went as far to comment on a public facebook page about my mom and I. I was an assistant teacher for her Kinder-dance class, I would miss days of all of my own classes to substitute for teachers when they would text me at school that they needed help, and I was even personally asked to and babysat Mrs.Becky's granddaughter over winter break. Wouldn't you think they would ask a very respectful, responsible, and trustworthy student to do that? My mom also worked the front desk, stoned costumes for dances I wasn't even in, and put HOURS into this studio to help Mrs.Becky. After I left, my mom asked for the last month of the seasons tuition back since I was no longer a part of the studio. We did receive this back at the expense of a very derogatory letter and text claiming my mom did not "fulfill her duties at the studio" and that my mom was harassing Mrs.Becky. I was more than willing to leave this all in my past because I know I am going to go far in my future despite what Mrs.Becky has had to say about me, but after all she has said about me and my family to others and to the public, I feel it is very important that any current or incoming students and families consider what I went through before you pour your heart and put this much dedication into a studio.

There are many reasons to send your child to Allstar Patrois Dance & Gym. Here are few that influenced me. Dance is a great form of exercise, and it can help children develop their physical fitness, flexibility, and coordination. It can also help to improve their posture and overall health and this is especially true at this academy. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. This is the absolute worst location in this company I've ever dealt with, and it's filled with horrible, disrespectful people. The staff can't get anything right, and they treat you like absolute garbage. The level of customer service here is appalling, and it's beyond me how this place is still in business after they treat s mixed family. When Linda Brooks ran the Troy location or Jason Bird managed it, things were a million times better. Now? A total disaster. Stevie, the so-called manager, is hands down the worst customer service "professional" I've ever encountered. She wouldn't even try to fix the issues at all, was like it is what it is,and her energy is totally I hate being here attitude. I've been a loyal customer since the Minneapolis location opened, even worked at the Troy location when it first launched, and have visited the Las Vegas location multiple times when in town. But this? This is a new low. I walked in today, thinking I had a family membership, and was greeted by Anna, who clearly had no clue what she was doing. She looked overwhelmed and like she couldn't care less. It's FATHER'S DAY, for crying out loud, and I was told I wasn't allowed entry unless I paid an additional $60 for my wife and son. We had just driven 54 minutes to get here, and now I'm being charged for MY OWN MEMBERSHIP and family. How is that even a thing?! What happens to caring about the customers. But that's not even the worst of it. The dry heat sauna was broken last week, then the power went out, then they closed for another outage the week before that. And now, after all that, they're charging me another $60? For what? Because of their incompetence and caring about the customers. Stevie was rude from the jump, disrespectful, and had the worst dry attitude imaginable, treating me like I was some inconvenience to her. After that, she just sat in the back office, not doing a single thing to help. Not once did anyone offer a solution or show any sense of care or respect for my situation. Honestly, it was like I was invisible. At this point, I'm seriously considering canceling my membership because this company clearly doesn't care about its members or guests which you can see with the 3 star reviews. Without us, you have no business, no revenue, and no reason to exist. So why on earth would you treat your paying customers like this? The lack of respect is beyond infuriating. If I could rate this place NEGATIVE INFINITY, I would. And you better believe I'm going to put this all over my social media. I have millions + of followers, and I will make sure everyone knows how NOT to treat their customers. I'm done. DO NOT RECOMMEND--I'm about to cancel my membership, and I suggest you do the same if you value your time, money, or dignity. I'm so mad left a voicemail for lawyer !! Racism and Discrimination is some something real and very bad here. #HorribleService #WorstExperience #CustomerNoService #Unbelievable #CancelingMyMembership #NeverComingBack
