Always the best pizza around, still tastes the same 30 years later. It's similar to some Chicago places.

I've been to Tony & Maria's several times, and they never disappoint. The pizza is excellent--it's as close to authentic Chicago-style pizza as you can get in the area! The food is always delicious, and the portions are generous, with everything made with care. The staff is outstanding, always friendly, attentive, and welcoming, making you feel like family every time you visit. The restaurant is also exceptionally clean. Tony & Maria's is one of my favorite places in Beloit, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. read more

My new favorite pizza place in Beloit! I had been searching for a place with good crispy crust and had been let down. Finally, here is a place that delivers! (They also have carry out too.) But seriously, the toppings are ample and the crust was hot and crisp. Definitely a winner. read more

I don't understand how this place is still in business. I make better pizza and I don't like pizza much. It takes them 3 hours to fulfill an order, inside or outside. My family are who loves this place. Im constantly trying to talk them into sams pizza. Much much better food and service. I grew up on the Southside of Chicago and there was a great pizza on every other block. The area had thin crust, pizza with a sweet sauce, lots of Wisconsin cheese and sweet sausage. This pizza is the very closest I've come to the pizza I grew up on that is still in existence 40 years later. I didn't like having to pay a fee to use my debit card. Had I known I'd have brought cash. Nothing posted indicating there was an up charge for using my card. Despite the good pizza that left a bad taste. Prices are high and being up charged is not ok. read more

Excellent pizza. They're generous with toppings and the sauce has a sweetness that I love. You can get pizza from 10 to 26 inch diameter in 2 inch increments and the cheese and toppings go all the way to the outer edge of the pie. Not a fan of the pizza. Very greasy so much so that couldn't taste much else. Order large sausage pizza, fries, and 4 piece garlic cheese bread for delivery and it was $27. Fries and cheese bread were ok. Overall not recommended for price or flavor read more

I just went back and forth with the man that answered the phone! This business was highly recommended by the front desk at Holiday Inn Express on Ford St. I asked him nicely if they deliver ...he said yes! Then I told him the address and the gps said 4miles from the hotel. He tried to convince me that there was no Holiday Inn and bc I'm sure he saw my number on the caller id he felt like I didn't know what I was talking about. I repeated again where I was and also the color flyer they have. He put me on hold for a long time and didn't apologize. Then said ok I can but it will be an hour and 30mins. I told him no thank you. He really went off of my voice and the number on the phone. He didn't want to help and I didn't want any problems with my food nor give him money. They are fantastic. Southern Italian pizza with a lot more cheese. Loads of cheese! They are a great value, especially the largest pizza that they make. We fed 10 hungry people and had leftovers all for about $25 (one topping-sausage.) I'll be telling my friends in Napoli, Italy about this place! read more

Those complaining about the customer service need to get over themselves. They should go to Little Italy in New York to realize that it's all about the food. The service is simply the transaction of exchanging cash for some of the best pizza in this region. For the style of pizza, I'd put it up against anything you can get anywhere. As for those who don't like the pizza itself, I'd say it's most likely a situation where what has passed for a good pie around here has tainted their pallets. Or... a situation where they like a different style all together. But if you like a good New York style pizza with a nice rich combination of cheese and sauce on a crust that compliments the whole package, then Tony & Maria's Pizza is truly a gem to patronize. People in this area should consider themselves lucky to have access to such high quality pizza. Both Beloit and Janesville are better places to live because of them. read more

Your restaurant was recommended to us by the desk clerk at our hotel, who had. I personal experience, but had heard good things. So glad she was working! We had the meat lover's and it was fantastic! Plenty of toppings and didn't skimp on the cheese. One of the better pizzas I've had in quite a while. Highly recommended! read more

I want to give them more than 3 stars, I really do but the service I experience stops me. As far as the pizza goes - best I've had in Beloit no complaints at all. However I've constantly had bad service. My family frequently uses their delivery service and while ordering over the phone I feel very rushed and like the person taking my order is being very rude. They also never tell me the price of my order unless I ask, this isn't a huge deal I suppose but it would still be nice to be given my total before I pay like most businesses. My final issues is that my delivery drivers always seem shady. I don't know what it is about the many different drivers we've had but I've never felt comfortable with any of them read more

We have ordered from Tony and Maria's previously for over 20 years and enjoyed their pizza. We ordered a standard pizza (what they call "The Works" ) for delivery. They did not quote a price when ordered. After two hours it arrived with a $43.00 price tag! I declined delivery. I called the restaurant to ensure that the order was correct and they informed me that it was. No pizza is worth that. read more

This is s personal favorite of ours. The pizza sauce is to die for. We get Tony's pizza nearly every week, cuz it's consistently great. They do not skimp on quality or toppings. I have to say I was really excited about having pizza from Tony and Maria's to start the New Year (2014)!! A friend suggested the pizza this last month, and it was good the last time we had it!! Unfortunately, I was unpleased to find out they couldn't deliver 4.6 miles away because "the roads were too bad, and we won't go that far..." It shouldn't have surprised me one bit, but it was annoying to hear for the 1st of the year. We live in Wisconsin, news flash it snows. Duh, the roads are bad, if we didn't want bad roads we should live in California. Instead, now we have to drive if we want pizza!! Note to self and others, don't order pizza when it snows you have to drive to pick it up. I am not recommending this place for delivery, although the pizza is decent. read more

The pizza was good, especially if you're a fan of mountains of cheese. The toppings were delicious and the crust was good. I found it a bit pricey for what you get however.
