She also went the extra mile by helping us include our family dog, Jack, in some of the photos. She has different packages for every budget and allows for bringing a sibling to the shoot for much needed family shots, for a reasonable charge. She also has this great system for filling out contracts, sending payment, asking all your dumb 'what should they wear?!' Questions and gives lots of helpful information about make-up and glasses and everything else so you get a great photo. Most importantly, my daughter was at ease with her immediately so our photos are natural looking and beautiful. With LinkedIn and social media being such a big deal now a days, you better look profesh, and you better look good while you're doing it. She made everything stress free for me and guided me through the process. I'm not used to professional pictures, but she made me feel comfortable and confident during the shoot. Tried on some different outfits with some different backgrounds at her studio (which is lovely and nicely decorated) The day was painless and casual, she had a quick turnaround process and gave me a stunning final result, including a great editing process for some general blemish removal, etc. Would highly recommend Kara not just for her professional photography skills, but her personality and her ability to make you feel at ease. She cleared her schedule and was able to beautifully capture my increasingly huge and more active, less sleepy infant. The preparation that went into the shoot was top notch from the heat being turned up in the studio so my baby wasn't cold to the wide variety of outfits, props, sound machine, and she even had a camping/outdoorsy background that fit our nursery theme! We BOTH felt we were in the best of care; my baby is normally fussy in the hands of strangers but Kara had a way of calming him to get all the cutest poses effortlessly, and I as a new mom was able to finally relax for a few hours. She is also a mom to two littles and was incredibly easy to talk and relate to. It was apparent she truly loves her career and genuinely cares about her customers and their family.. which is increasingly hard to find these days! Purchased a groupon for holiday photos. We had an appt at 1 and we didn't have our photos taken…read moreuntil 1:30. The "studio" is one room behind a current. There is no room for those waiting to sit. After our photos we waited almost 30 mins to see the pics. While I understand it takes a while to load the images it was way long. Then we waited a really long time for the photos to be printed. The entire process took over two hours!! And the worst part is that the pics are mediocre at best. We ordered Christmas cards and ran out so I placed another order. Given how long it took us the first time, I called ahead and placed the over so they would be ready when I got there. Well they were ready but they didn't print the writing on them. Then they had the wrong pictures. Again this whole ordeal took almost a half an hour. To "compensate" me for having to wait, they gave me the order of cards they had printed incorrectly. While it was a nice gesture, didn't like them so I wouldn't be sending them out. I would never recommend this location to anyone. Mayfair is much different and better!

Her attention to detail was spectacular. She was accommodating through multiple postponements due to Covid-19. She brought fun energy to both our engagement pictures and wedding day while still remaining very professional. All expectations were stated and communication was easy. Most of all, our photos are so dreamy- they capture all of the sentimental and funny moments of our big day in a way that is polished but still so authentic to us.
