I had so much pain that ended up turning into a root canal. I called them up and he got me in that next morning and was perfect in fixing it. From there, we set up a plan to have quite a few of my teeth fixed since I had not given them the care they needed in my teenage years. He was always on time and extremely gentle and careful with any procedure I needed. Since then, I have had a crown replaced, fillings, and the usual cleanings. He's always there to be personable, understanding, not judgmental, yet educational about what needs to happen to maintain good health. And for this I truly appreciate him. As the years have come and gone, I've seen lots of different dental assistants, hygienists, front desk people, ect. And one thing has always been consistent... they are all some of the nicest people I've ever dealt with. They ask you if you need anything, a glass of water, a magazine, a hot towel (they really do!). Their massage chairs make the experience much better than you would think it could be to get a filling. Truly one of the best dentists in Central Oregon and he definitely stands behind his work. They even helped me troubleshoot a bite problem I was having (due to an orthodontics). Cleanings have been more thorough than I've had with some other dentist offices. I'd also like to note that I've been on OHP (Medicaid) for a while so I'm used to having health issues ignored and getting subpar care from providers, which has not been the case here. After several trips back, they still didn't get it right. We gave up working with them after the 4th fitting. Now my mom has uppers that look like Buckie Beaver and lowers that fit so poorly that she sounds like she has marbles in her mouth when she speaks. Forget about chewing food with either! She is back to using her old upper that may break any time, and going without lowers. To top it off, we have asked for an adjustment in price, ie a refund, over and over yet they still bill my mom for the products and services that she can not use. At one point they gave her a $90 refund, and now they are billing her for that refund! Nice as the staff is, save yourself a lot of heartache and go elsewhere! Update 7/25/20. We were contacted by Advantage Dental after this review. They gave my mom a partial refund of the price of her dentures. While she would have rather had usable dentures , we are satisfied that they at least returned some of her money.
