Michael did a superb job to power wash two long walks , good sized patio , several pieces lawn furniture, and cleaned gutters. He worked steady and hard and replaced all he had moved. I do not recommend this cleaner. I had a brand new gas stove that I loved, it had residue from cooking purple rice on it which I have easily removed with water, a microfiber cloth, and a mild all purpose cleaner myself. I asked them to clean it never thinking they would need to use something harsh that might damage it. I believe they used a copper scour pad and scratched my brand new stove top. The maintenance of my items in great condition is the most important to me, even if that means I have to deal with a little dust or residue until I get time to clean it correctly. I am very dismayed that untrained people could damage items unnecessarily. read more

If you only read the two sentences of this review: Choose Tonya's Touch! She and her crew are FANTASTIC... kind, flexible, thorough, communicative, responsive, and they show up on time, every time. My husband and I live in the Washington DC area---650 miles from Bloomington... where we own a single family rental house. The tenants moved out. Not only did the tenants leave the home a filthy mess, but they left an unholy amount of trash. Twelve truckloads full of trash. Our property manager's cleaning crew were swamped with college kids moving in, and could not schedule to clean. I was referred to contact Tonya's Touch. She replied incredibly fast and was available the next working day: Monday. She shared with me numerous before and after photos, which detailed the transformation from grime to sparkling clean! What a relief! I was overjoyed with their work! For those who say "something was left unclean," please understand and respect that professional cleaning takes time. Sometimes cleaning requires more time than expected. Be prepared to be flexible. I was more than happy to pay for the TWO full days her team spent working on the house. We had a Tonya's Touch cleaning crew come to our house to clean windows and sills while preparing our house to sell. The crew of three young folks did a great job and helped us sell our house in only 3 weeks! The windows were amazingly clean -- we even had a bird fly into our front window later that week for the first time since we lived here in 12 years. The crew took apart every storm window and cleaned them in a specially designed easel while cleaning each window and screen and sill before replacing the storm and screen. The windows looked brand new when the team finished. And the prices were reasonable. The only small complaints we had about the service was that only one of the crew really knew about windows and the other two seemed slower and more unsure of their work than the lead. Plus, the crew tracked in mud on their shoes while going in and out of the house. I think they should have worn paper booties or taken off their shoes at the door. Otherwise, Tonya's Touch provided us with a wonderful service and we will definitely hire them again!! read more

Tonya was great at getting a crew together last minute to help us out, and she definitely gets a star for that. However, the crew that she put together did not do a good job. There were crumbs still on the floor and counter. Rooms were half vacuumed. Overall, they created as much work for us as they saved us. And we paid them $35/hr to do it. While I think Tonya means we'll, the quality was definitely subpar, and I can't recommend. read more

I used Tonya's touch to clean a house we had just bought. We had two cleaners for three hours. I asked the kitchen and bathrooms (2.5) to be cleaned first and then we'd go from there. They never made it past those rooms. They didn't get any of it done and the things they supposedly did were still dirty after checking once they'd left. One woman would stop cleaning and talk to a family member the entire time and every time I checked on the one cleaning the bathrooms, she was on her phone or outside. Terrible service!! read more

I have used them for a couple of years to clean my home. They are trustworthy, efficient and do a wonderful job!

called 30 minutes after my scheduled cleaning time. They had forgotten to put me on the calendar. They said they would still send someone out but that it would be an hour before they could come. It was 2.5 hours after my scheduled time when they showed up. I had to leave before they were finished and was quite disappointed when I got home. Of the windows that were cleaned they were cleaned well. The window above our kitchen sink was totally forgotten. I reminded them to clean the cabinets in the bathrooms twice and only one of the bathroom cabinets was cleaned. I also specifically asked for dusting, I told them that was my priority. The lady took a single duster through the whole house kicking up dust throughout, never using a drop of spray, never moving anything from the shelves. When I asked her about using spray her team leader said Tonya's doesn't use dusting spray. I asked them to use some of mine. They did but still missed several areas including the picture frames I specifically asked for. I get that they were in a hurry because they were late but I would have rather them not come at all. read more

The two young men who have come the previous times have work diligently and carefully to clean everything in sight! My home is clean and well-maintained, but I truly notice just how much better it looks after the two young men have done their job. I recommend Tonya's Touch to people in my neighborhood and I do this without any urging or recompense from TT' personnel (a different cleaning group offered me a 20% discount to write a positive review and I told them I was sorry but I only write things I do of my own volition). read more

We were recommended by a neighbor to try Tonya's Touch and have used their service for about 10 months. Before them, we used several other cleaning companies and we like Tonya's Touch the most. We really like it because the high quality they deliver and the reasonable price. Their friendly cleaning crews do things efficiently and thoroughly. They also accommodate our special requests such as wiping the window sills and vacuuming two waterhog rugs in our garage every time they visit. They bring a stepping stool to clean our tall kitchen cabinets. There was once a girl took out the turning nobs of my stove and cleaned underneath. Tonya herself is a very nice person and very easy to communicate with. She let us to stick with Rod who cleans well and is friendly and courteous.
