This was my first time going there today. To be honest, the receptionist was a little rude. I'm guessing she was under the impression that I had been there before. So I walked in and no one greeted me. The receptionist tossed a paper at me and told me to fill it out. Was told I would be with a Kelly. I told her what I wanted and she simply said no and walked off. I looked at the receptionist and she rolled her eyes and told me to sit in the waiting area. 20 mins later a different girl came and grabbed me. Lindsey was very polite. My nails look nice but I didn't like the fact that she rushed through the entire service. I paid $60 and didn't even get a proper manicure. My hands were not put to soak, nails were not trimmed, cuticles were not pushed back, and I didnt receive a hand massage, not even lotion applied after the service. I never felt relaxed. I did like my nails and the decor of the salon but I probably won't be back again. read more

Speak English when you are asking to spend money. When they make a mistake suddenly they don't understand a word you are saying and want to charge you the full amount to fix the problem. Very frustrating. $200 down the drain. read more

Definitely the best nail salon in Lake Jackson. I have been very pleased with the techs and quality of service. They have a wide variety of polished, mostly OPI. The punch is delicious- and they'll add wine if you ask. I took away a star because I've been disappointed in the waxing service both times I've tried it. read more

Last week I had a shellac manicure. First the wrong color was applied and kept under 120 seconds instead of recommended 60, next I was charged $5 more than listed, then within 5 days 3 nails broke which I ve never had happen....now one nail is splitting and another chipping and it s only been a week....I called to tell of their inferior product and they offered a redo....no thanks....it s still the same product.....always use real shellac and not gel no matter what they say....big difference !!! read more

I live in So Cal and was in lake Jackson for an event. I searched all over for the best day spa for a pedicure and so glad I chose this one. I had seen a nail salon in the Brazo Mall but it didn't make the cut. This day spa was clean and ran well. A friendly lady named Abby was very kind and did a wonderful job. Given that I came on one of the busiest times of the year, the day before Valentines Day, the service was wonderful. I was a walk in and still did not have to wait long to get into a chair. They offer complimentary drinks as well. This being my first time here I can say that the prices are actually pretty average given the quality of work. read more

My pedicures always turn out good. But I was not pleased with the full set I got. She did them crooked and would not listen to what I wanted. She wasted her time and mine doing a design I didn't want and just kept filing and filing and now my nails look horrible. read more

I had to instruct the pedicures on doing my nails properly. They were constantly trying to push their upscale services which was annoying and embarrassing in front of the other clients. They don't do in between the toes and even if you remind them they deny it. The massage chair didn't work that well. They are also slow to offer a beverage. read more

In the past I would have given a four star review. However, the last few times I have been here service has been poor and way overpriced. The service was once worth it, but this is ridiculous. For example, today it is understaffed and not busy. No one has offered me a drink and I have been sitting for 20 minutes waiting for a pedicure. This is not an isolated incident. Also, one particular pedicurist on two occasions cut my cuticles to the point of bleeding, and didn't care. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting the same result. If I could leave a no star I would. My daughter got a mani/pedi. The pedi was still wet 3 hours later. Went back in to get a refund. They wouldn't do it. Wanted to give a gift certificate. But my daughter was over it. I said just give a refund. They did NOT/could not. Spoke with Tony. Funny how one runs a business. As business owners, the customer is always right. It's a very pretty place & is kept very clean. But the staff is very rude. I was immediately caught off guard by the snappy receptionist. I went in to get a nail fixed & the receptionist literally had to talk the nail tech into doing it because she didnt want to! The nail tech asks me what color I had & I said I wasnt sure. Then she proceeded to tell me that I needed to know & pay attention to the colors. Then instead of helping me find the color she tells me to find it myself. As she's doing my nail she's got two of the other nail tech's standing behind her laughing & talking to her in their language. Which I wouldnt have minded, if it wasn't obvious they were talking about me. She gets the top coat on & I put my hand in the drying light thing, then she gets up, tells me "When the light goes off you can leave", & walks away. I was very upset & disappointed. I will be sticking with LA Nails from now on. read more
