While getting ready to go on our Memorial Day weekend camping trip we discovered a catastrophic weld failure on the tongue of our camper on the Tuesday before the weekend at 4pm. I cannot say enough about Tony. Honest, fair, fast & he goes the extra mile. He showed up less than an hour after we called. He not only fixed our initial problem but also identified and fixed another one. He followed us to a truck stop to make sure all was good. Initially, he quoted us $280 for the service call and an hour of work. After spending 2 1/2 hours with us, he only charged us $350. I couldn't help but tip him. Anyone who owns an RV in New Mexico knows that it's really tough getting someone competent to work on your rig. A few years ago a friend recommended Tony's RV (Tony & Jeremy) and we have been using them off and on ever since for repair on a busted sewer pipe, TPMS installation, external bay hinge installation, refrigerator control hook-up etc. We even called Tony's to get advice on a valve extender issue while on the road. We recently needed body work done on our RV. We mentioned it to Tony's since we were already scheduled for another project and they gladly took us on. After 2 weeks and a few visits to Tony's to discuss progress, when finally done, it was as if they took a magic wand and made our RV look new again! I almost didn't recognize it. It took 3 weeks to get an appointment. My RV sat in the parking lot over two weeks. We called a couple of times and even went in back in to talk with them. They could find no time to diagnose the steps to my rig that would not extend. We took it somewhere else. It took 15 minutes to let us know the motor was bad and a new one was ordered. I found the best RV for me at a dealership out of state from where I live. Work obligations kept me from being able to get to the dealership and look it over before purchasing. Tony went to the dealership for me and provided a detailed inspection. He called immediately afterwards and gave me the breakdown of some issues with the rig. The next time thru town in June, I had a small issue that could wait but wanted Tony or Jeremy to look at it and advise me. I didn't even call, just stopped by. (I am not advising this, but it was just easier and figured I would schedule something with them). They took 5 minutes to look at it on the spot. Problem solved (Water heater).. Was really disappointing. I tried to give them business, gave them lots of time but never got a response. Called three times, sent pics to email they gave me and nothing. No call back, surly on phone. Would have been a fair chunk of money for them. Guess they are too busy and don't care. But it wasted two weeks of my time. One day into our month long motor home trip and three of our four roof vents blew off. (All of them were down but it was crazy windy!) I started looking for a repair place as soon as we were in Albuquerque and Tony's RV Service popped up. I called and he said he had the parts and could fit us in. We have been on the road in our 2016 Class A DP and the front electric steps stopped working. We called Tony's in the morning as we were driving up from Carlsbad and they said to come on by their shop. We arrived and they determined that both motor and kit needed to be replaced (we had been told by two other RV repair locations this was probably the case also but couldn't be seen for a few days). Tony placed calls, got the parts and we were on our way in three hours! We know the cost of the parts and were not overcharged for labor or parts! If we could give more stars, we would! I can't say enough about the work Jeremy did on my motorhome's fridge. The fridge died after 17 years, Jeremy tried to save it but to no avail. He ordered a new one, and it arrived a day early. Sad to have to post this review but we rely on reviews for many things & i feel it's important to say....We called Tony's RV when we arrived mid afternoon in Albuquerque, spoke to Jeremy, who seemed very interested in trying to help our situation over the phone, he admitted that our problem was a new one for him...but, would talk to his mobile guy & call us back. We waited until the next morning to call HIM BACK, he immediately said his mobile guy was out on a call & he would be able to send him out after his call, that he had another call later in the afternoon so he'd get to us in between, he expected him back in 20-30 minutes & would CALL US BACK....we waited & waited & NEVER HEARD FROM HIM. If our problem was an issue that they didn't think they could or wanted to help with...A COURTESY CALL would have been appropriate. We use mobile RV guys all over the country & trust them more than taking to a repair shop, we've had nothing but excellent, caring, honest service...but this one failed big time. I hope they learn something from this post...just be honest & say "hey, I don't want to waste my time or your money to tackle this one"... and CALL BACK read more

I took my RV to Tony's RV Service to install a rubber roof, repair interior water damaged ceiling panels, replace the slide-out and main awnings, replace a broken awning leg and move the passenger seat back. Tony quoted $8,384 for these repairs and indicated the repairs could be completed in two months, depending upon availability of parts. I paid Tony $3,950 for parts. One month later, I paid an additional $3,500, allegedly accrued labor for installation of a rubber roof and one slide-out awning. Tony then stopped all work on my RV and virtually stopped all contact with me. My calls went unanswered and any messages left went unreturned. I filed a complaint with the New Mexico Better Business Bureau, sent a "Notice of Intent to Sue," and filed a complaint with the New Mexico Attorney General's Office. In each case, Tony did not respond. After six months I retrieved my RV and took it to a reputable repair shop to finish the job. My insurance agent inspected the job and concluded that it was the worst repair job he had ever seen: 1) the front slide-out awning was put on crooked, 2) both the bedroom and bathroom skylight moldings were broken, 3) the light above the sink wouldn't switch on, 4) the exterior porch light wouldn't turn off, 5) the rubber roof leaked, and worst of all 5) the structural integrity of the coach roof was so badly compromised that it sagged downward, requiring extensive bracing to return it to its original shape. To complete the work and repair the damage caused by the Tony's poor workmanship cost $6,300. Tony took my money, had my RV for 6 months, didn't complete most of the work, what was completed was shoddy, caused considerable damage, would not receive my phone calls, ignored all my formal complaints, and repeatedly lied to me (e.g., The parts are en-route and we will have your RV finished next week.). Neither Tony nor Tony Jr. can be trusted; their level of workmanship is abysmal and they are just plain crooks. DO NOT GO THERE! read more

In April 2018 we experienced a broken slide on our 5th wheel trailer while in Elephant Butte, NM. We called Tony's while on our way to Albuquerque, NM and they told us to come right to the shop so they could take a look. We arrived about 1300 (on Friday afternoon) and they jumped right on it, diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and scheduled us for repairs on the following Tuesday. On Tuesday they got authorization for the work from Good Sam's, installed the new parts and straightened the framework. During the repair, they discovered the cause of the problem, order some additional parts and got us back on the road shortly after noon the next day. While there we also had them repair a storage tank valve and straighten one of the "J" wraps. Use these guys, they are great!! Go out of your way to use these guys and their prices are very fair. My family and I are traveling cross country and the AC unit blew a line in Sedona and had to be completely replaced. We called several places in both Flagstaff and Albuquerque and everyone was two weeks out. Not Tony's. Jeremy said to bring the camper in when they opened and he would have us up and running by noon. I have now taken my RV to Tony's on several occasions. It's the only place I will go. I had been to three other RV service facilities. The first time I went into Tony's I was really impressed with Jeremy and his knowledge of everything RV. And he took the time to carefully explain everything to me. I could tell he really knew what he was talking about. The next time I went in he immediately fixed a problem that would have delayed a trip I had planned. My insurance company, Geico, and their awning replacement division, Duncan Systems, contacted Tony's RV service to come out and look at the damage to my awning so it could be repaired. Weeks went by. No Tony's. Finally I started calling them and they came out 3 days later. They told me they'd go back and order the parts. Duncan systems called, I told them what the guy from Tony's had told me, and they said that Tony's can't order anything - the orders have to go through them. I called Tony's and they didn't call me back. Waited another week, called Duncan. Duncan said Tony's told them that they'd be out to measure and check the awning. I told them they had already been out - weeks ago now - to check the awning. Long story short - I got the royal runaround for almost two months. I finally found my own mobile RV repair service to replace the awning, with Geico's approval. He came out and checked on it and had it installed within a week. If you don't have time to do a job, just say you don't have time. Don't give people the run-around! I'd rate them as disappointing and dishonest to boot. read more

My generator would not start. We drove 400 miles to get it repaired at the Onan dealer in Albuquerque. No luck, they we're booked out 2 weeks due to the balloon fiesta. Found Tony's and talked to Jeremy who said it was probably a bad starter. Quoted me $400 for labor plus parts. He quickly diagnosed it, got a new starter, and repaired the generator. All faster than promised and LESS than he originally quoted. Very honest and knowledgeable individual who knows RV's well. A gentleman too. Don't believe the bad reviews, this place is the real deal.
