Wow, this place delivered for breakfast while we were staying there on a busy weekend! I ordered a dish that had two eggs, French toast and bacon. The French toast was AMAZING ! Tony's Too is as much a bar as a pool hall. There are 5 Diamond tables, only one hindrance-free, and it's $1 a game.

This is the best restaurant in Quincy. I should know. I have been to all of them several times. The waitstaff is friendly and kind, something you don't see anymore. The food is beyond good. McDonald's has Better Burgers than the dried hockey puck i ate. The under cooked walmart fries just added to the disappointment second day I give them another chance order 3 sliders and a side of onion rings. I booked a party of 32 ,several months in advance. When event arrived, only 1 very rude waiter was serving us. He was unorganized when taking orders and passing out the food. He was no where to be found after food was done, so myself and my grandkids cleared the tables for the birthday cake. We all refilled drinks at the bar. I finally found him to pay the bill and he asked for an extra tip beyond the 18% i was charged. I definitely would not recommend this place. Service was terrible. As a 'local', I eat at Tony's frequently.The food is always good, whether it's breakfast, lunch, or supper. The menu is quite varied -- something for everyone. Kids' menu is great. The food was as good as always when I was in last week. Had the Crepe divan as always. We had a table of 8 and they gave us a waitress who was new. She was awful. My friend waited 20 minutes on a glass of wine. The other waitresses helped when the food came up. Because she was having such a hard time. Food and service HORRIBLE!!! I ordered the 2 breakfast . My bacon was dropped by my server, she said she would bring more - never did. Hash browns too greasy to eat. I didn't want toast, they said I could have pancakes instead. Brought 1 small pancake and then charged me $2.50 for it! This was my second visit at this restaurant since it's connected to the Holiday Inn which is wonderful. My first visit, I had the shrimp fettuccine alfredo. It was tasty but in order to eat the shrimp, you actually had to use your fingers to pull the tails off! Who does that? And who wants alfredo sauce all over their fingers? This visit, I decided to try as described on the menu... OVER-THE-TOP CHEDDAR BURGER - This half-pound burger is cooked to order and smothered in cheddar cheese until it spills out over the patty. A "must try" for any cheese-lover. Little did I know, the cheddar seemed to be cooked on the grill until it spreads out like a pancake, bubbled with crunchy edges and then placed on the burger. The cheese pancake was twice the size of the burger and the edges was hard & crunchy. I'm not one to eat crunchy cheese so I broke off all of the crunchy edges which became a mess, so I could actually pick up & hold the burger with my hands. I'm someone who likes soft melted cheese on my burger. The burger was properly cooked but needed some seasoning and they give you an overwhelmingly amount of crinkle fries (the best kind). Next time, I will order the classic burger with American cheese. The restaurant itself has a nice atmosphere and the server was attentive to me as a guest. I'll give them another chance. read more

Horrible service !! Worst service that I have ever had. The waitress never checked on me. I took it upon myself to go to the bar and ask for another glass of wine. I figured the waitress must be busy so no biggie. The bartender acted like I wasn't there, totally rude for no reason, I had a smile on my face and was being patient. She never addressed me. Looked me in my eyes and never acknowledged that I had been there patiently waiting. She just looked miserable. My waitress walked by finally and she got it for me. Not really sure if three stars is too many or not. The third star for me is because it is connected to the hotel I stayed in. The food was average at best. The wait staff was scarce I could hear them arguing in the rear of the restaurant. The atmosphere was not that great either. It was dark and slightly uninviting. Where to start? Too bad about this place. They had a very popular place downtown for a very long time. Then they opened in the Holiday Inn and just became hard to predict. One visit would be OK, then the next awful. One thing remains constant though, the lavash bread served before your meal is really good. But as an example of their inconsistency, my club met there a week ago and had a fine lunch. But then took my family there for Christmas and it was beyond bad. Christmas was buffet only, no menu items available. Everything was chock full of black pepper, and lukewarm. The turkey was "roll" turkey, the roast beef was black pepper coated rubbery slices. We really weren't even sure it was supposed to be roast beef. Staff was inattentive and seemed to not want to be there at all. The entire experience was a complete disappointment, particularly because we took relatives and friends who had never been there before. Really a shame that a once outstanding restaurant with a reputation for great food and service has been reduced to this. It actually makes me wonder if perhaps the original owner has sold the business. read more

Food isn't bad if you're desperate and are too tired to leave the hotel, Bar selection is a little limited, servers haven't been knowledgeable about the menu. Both the menu and the execution of it are problematic. I've been here a several times over the past few years, and have often been underwhelmed by the experience. I always stay at the Holliday Inn during my work trips up here. The only thing good about this restaurant is its convenience. The food is bland to say at least. Save your money and venture out to one of the unique restaurants that quincy has to offer. If you do order from here, get a salad or pizza. read more

Blah, blah, blah! If it were not for the long-term hotel tenants at the Holiday Inn, the restaurant would be empty. Food; as my first statement said, BLAH. Had to wash down bland chicken with bad beer... Yes, the bottled beer was expired and tasted every bit of old. Service; the only reason they received 2 stars is only because of the service. Otherwise, it would have been a 0. Ambience; All the long-term and frequent hotel guest come here. good luck finding a seat at the bar from 6-9 pm. They perch there and don't move. Went here 2 out of the 6 days I stayed at the hotel. Better to take your food to the room than eat here... better yet, just bring your food back. read more

If your staying at the hotel id say it's worth it considering you won't have to drive anywhere and there's not too much more in town close by atleast. read more

Service was better than normal tonight which is a plus! I love the lavash and it's the only reason I agree to eat here while out with others. Don't get a salad which is over 10 bucks bc you get about a cup of lettuce tops! The 'fried chicken' is a cut up chicken strips so they should call it was it is-chicken strip salad! Frequently stay at the Holiday Inn in Quincy, never ventured down to Tony's Too until tonight. I will never grace them with my patronage and dollars again! I ordered a rum and coke with no ice, like I normally order. Normally the soda is cold and ice is unnecessary. Here at Tony's too though everything is warm. So to my mistake did I get a warm rum and coke, I couldn't even taste the rum. My waiter was a creepy little fellow who made me feel uneasy. I gave him my order and he asked me if I wanted a complimentary bread basket. I said sure, what I got looked like pita bread failures and once slice of real bread. My entrée was good even thought the chicken in the chicken alfredo looked like it came out of a can. When I got my bill I was shocked to see I was charged $4.49 more for the entrée than what the menu advertised it cost. When I asked the waiter he said the prices went up but they hadn't updated the menu yet. When I spoke to the manager, hoping for a satisfactory conflict resolution, I was told they were sorry, but that was what I had to pay. In summary, I got a super small warm, watered-down rum and coke, failed flat crackers for bread, and overcharged by $4.49 for my ho-hum meal. If it were not for the Holiday Inn, this place would, and should, go out of business. read more

I made the mistake of going to this restaurant out of convenience (I'm staying at the Holiday Inn), don't make my mistake!!!! The food is disgusting and inedible. Service was just as bad. Be prepared to wait, I waited 40 minutes for fried chicken that tasted like they ran down to KFC, brought it back and deep fried it again. I couldn't eat it, when my server came to give me the check she didn't ask how it was or if I liked it...... Nothing. My brothers and I were staying at the Holiday Inn in Quincy and decided to venture down to Tony's Too for a beer. The place is nice and the server was friendly. They didn't have much to choose from on tap, but they have a few more choices of beer in bottles. Most of it was domestic (Bud, Miller, Sam Adams, etc.) and a few imports (Guinness, Warsteiner).
