I am going to use them again and I've changed this review from one star to four star based on the care they provided which I'm very happy with. Not giving a five yet based on my initial concern and Kristans (sp?) attitude when I called with my concerns. Christy (sp?) was the one how was polite and listened to my concerns and provided the refund. Iwanted to love this practice but after two visits I'm disappointed. Dr Robbie was great, she seems to really know her stuff. The first visit went well, they were short on a one of the meds. When we went back they gave us a med we'd already received but not the balance of what we were short.... We had already paid for it and when I called they said they'd given us the correct med. Tet that one go. The second visit was a financial disaster. They offer a drop off service where they try to fit you into the schedule which seemed really awesome. I called to make an appt and was told to drop my cat off but if they didn't fit him in by 5:00 pm it would be an extra $150. Itold her I didn't want to pay the charge so wanted an appt for the following day. She said she thought they'd get him that day so I told her if they didn't I would pick him up by 5 and drop him off the next morning. We arrive at 4:15, are told testing is being done. We told the receptionist we would step out and come back, she said be sure to get back by five to avoid the fee. We got back at 4:35. We waited and waited and the vet came out at 5:15 to tell us the findings. They charged us $150 in addition to the fees for the visit and refused to refund us. They also charged me for a dose of something for fleas which I didn't ask for he has never had fleas, he's an indoor cat I'm really disappointed.

When a practice has an entire giant room dedicated to expensive non proven vet only food, you can get the vibe. OWe took our cat, who has had asthma his entire life in when he got a cold (URI) and they wanted $1000 of treatment and tests including an MRI. If you took your child to a pediatrician for a cold, and he wanted to do an MRI ... you would go elsewhere. Anyway, they hold your pet for ransom with inflated costs, unnecessary tests and when you question it, as I did with the office manager, they become quite nasty. Among the most aggressive customer disservice I have experienced in my 66 year lifetime. BTW, they also own the Bryson City Vet, which uses the same model. We found a legitimate vet that we travel to an hour and a half round trip, that is far, far better.

From…read morethe first day K-9 Meadows opened, I have intrusted my very dear Lexi (9-year-old chocolate lab) to their care. And now, Finn, our 4-month-old chocolate lab(fondly referred to Satan"s Spawn) has joined Lexi at doggy daycare. Although I have hired a trainer, the staff has taken it upon themselves to reinforce his training during his stay. What a difference! I have personally gotten to know the entire staff and I can say, without a doubt, they are the nicest and most competent people to oversee the care and well-being of their charges. Devin is an exceptional groomer. She treats every dog with special care and attention. Jay and his staff are ever ready to play with each individual dog. Each new dog is carefully screened for temperment and how they may interact with other dogs. Based on each assessment, each animal is paired with other dogs of like temperment, age and size. In addition, each dog enjoys its own huge run with temperature controlled indoor accomodations. I particularly like the large, natural grass play area. Every time I go to pick them up, one of the staff is actively playing with a resident one-on-one or no more than 2 or 3 other pups at the same time. This is individual, special care! I hope who ever reads this will visit Devin, Jay or one of the special staff members and see for themselves why K-9 Meadows is head-and-shoulders above the rest!

Having always bathed Blue myself (which may have contributed to his problem?), I was clueless as to where to take him. Dr. Tracy at Noah's Ark recommended Country Squire. I called on a Saturday and was told that Shanda was the "big dog" expert and was given her number. I called Shanda and explained my situation. She said if I could bring Blue in the next day (Sunday) she would take good care of him. And did she ever! He looked great, and I could tell he felt a lot better. It's been almost a month now, and he had his last medicated bath this week. We will continue with Blue's grooming on a regular basis...the price is right, and maybe we can prevent a repeat of this last awful skin condition.

She almost shaved my cats rear end. The people there did not know how to run a cc machine, provide a record of what services were done and the groomer was unavailable to ask. I paid cash and didn't wait for a receipt because the kid seemed too overwhelmed to write one. They didn't put her collar in her carrier so now I have to go back to the stinking hole and pick it up. I might just forget about the collar. The place smelled so bad and was so dirty that I really don't even want to go back. If you love your pet do not bring them to this nasty place!
