They showed up right on time and got right to work. They did everything quickly and pleasantly and exactly as asked; they even figured out stuff that I wouldn't have been able to explain--even though all the equipment was already here, it wasn't stuff they sold. It is an untouched survivor, a rare truck that sat idle since 1974. It is a very important special truck. I explained that I needed it to be as factory correct as possible. He understood the importance of the build and produced a beautiful engine. He cleaned the original 2 stage fuel pump to perfection. He kept me in the loop during the build showing me photos of the process. I was not able to be there when he ran it for its break in period but did send a video showing pressures and operation. The attention to detail was outstanding and the paint job was perfect. The engine ran perfectly. There was one slight leak that popped up ( happens) but Dan stood behind his work, fixed it and I could not be happier. I highly recommend Dan for his engine rebuilds. In today's world it is hard to find a reputable, honest machine shop. You can trust Dan. I am Washington states collector car appraiser and ex Concours judge.
