I took the beginners MMA class. The goal was to build confidence and look good naked. When I first signed up I was very nervous. I have absolutely zero fighting skills and experience. The first week was me asking the other guys in class a lot of very basic questions, which they were very glad to answer. Their reasoning being it is better for me to learn right than to pick up a bad habit which might hurt myself or others. The work out was nice, but in order to get the best results you need to get your reps in at home. "fatigue makes every warrior a wuss" By the second class I had the rhythm down on how classes progress. I knew what to bring and where to stand. Any drill I didnt know I asked and some one explained it. By the second week I was shadow boxing at home, in the office, just thinking about my combos. I would run after work on days I had no class and do chin ups. By the third week I felt like a champ every time I put on my gloves. and I found myself staring at myself in the mirror a bit more and liking what I saw. The coaches are there every class, this gym is not a place for judgement or bad attitudes. I was treated with respect and dignity, but I did have to bring respect and a desire to learn in order to get the most out of class. I also had to develop a personal workout routine outside of class to maximize its benefits for my own goals. I would recommend this place highly, and will continue to go in the future. Top flight is not only a professional place to train and make you into a champion. Not only is this a place to train but this is a second home feeling like family. The staff cares about their students not only in a training aspect but also on the family aspect showing them the importance of supporting loving your family and respecting you the parents.The before and after school program is awesome the students learn that school does come first before training from study to doing the homework . They bring up the confidence of the students . The importance of teaching the right to protect your self through training. My son has been there now 2 1/2 years and i have seen a lot from heart aches of families to champions. this gym is family they cry with you they will help you through no mater what they have a heart of gold and want to see everyone achieve their dreams. Children are bully proof when they go to this gym. but also they learn the importance of life skills and knowing how to prioritize what is important. they teach the children as if they are their own they want to see every child succeed because their is a champion in all of us. I am disappointed in this business. In 2016, we sent my stepson to their summer camp. We were pleased that it was affordable, very close to home, fit mine and my husband's schedule, the whole nine. My step son loved it and was eager to come back. Therefore we signed him and my daughter up for after school lessons. It was nice at first but then I started noticing things. The office manager was very disorganized. The classes grew too big so some students weren't getting the instruction they needed. They started running over time. They seemed understaffed on many days. The instructors didn't follow any uniform standard - they were often dishelved, scruffy, wrinkled, dirty and exposed. We experienced clerical issues with payment to the extent where we were asked to rewrite our credit card number, despite issuing it prior. The payment issues caused a disagreement between me and the OM, so I opted to work directly with the accounting company versus the gym. I noticed their emails were unprofessional and had grammatical errors. Their communication was often late or poorly timed (i.e. they sent a notice about a special event for spring break - during spring break, they failed to send notice about weather closings). It became a slow irritating collection of issues. I felt much of them were my personal preferences so I left them be. But after observing how everyone operated, the discussion I had with the OM, and other reviews, it became clear that they don't take criticism very well so it wasn't beneficial to bring it up. But I got the strong sense that they take accounts receivable more importantly. After awhile, the kids began to lose interest, partially because the classes were getting too big (something I asked the OM about) and I wasn't happy with the business. So we started to taper off coming to class ultimately stopping all together. The OM had claimed she would send the info about Summer 2017 for weeks but I never saw it, no flyer, no email. She asked for my email and then claimed she lost it after I wrote it down. I found it strange since it was in their database and I was on the email distribution. So, I wrote it down again and still never received the information. After awhile we decided not to send the kids to camp. One day a representative checked in about us joining the summer program offering a discounted price looking forward to the kids joining them. I declined and his response was "Why?" Unprofessional in my opinion. This was the last straw. What bothers me the most, is that we continued to pay our contract as agreed but not once did any of the instructors or business managers call or email to see why the kids weren't in class for over 4 months. Supposedly my son was "on track" to the next level, if they were so supportive of his progress, why not check in? Not a hi, are the kids okay? Is something wrong? Is there another class we can put you in? But they kept taking the money. I find it very disheartening. How do you take someone's money knowing that they aren't participating?! But they claim that they are a big family that cares. This gym wasn't for me. I hope you have a better experience. read more

f I could rate it zero stars, I would. The positive reviews is a joke, most likely staff and friends gave them good reviews to help them out since they received so many poor reviews. I am currently attending and so far I have experienced lack of organization with the schedule. The schedule advertised online is not the same time as the ones taught in class. Second, disrespect, Ron likes to challenge the customer and is extremely not customer service oriented. Perhaps lack of education for the field, but then again I would think that is common sense. Also, they use member solutions which is only rated 1.5 stars, so that speaks more for itself what kind of company you are dealing with. Look it up yourself. I will tell you something which is not advertised since they want you to be locked in the program, they do have a buyout for 500 dollars. I would have done that long ago if I knew I would have to deal with an unprofessional staff. *Will update my experience in the meantime So, based on my HONEST CUSTOMER REVIEW I was no longer welcomed on the matt by the owner. NO refund or anything. I tell everyone I meet about the unprofessional staff and the low quality of this company. Yeah, it might seems good at first until you start seeing their true colors. Before, I was frustrated with this business, now, I am absolutely outraged. They have violated Yelp's review guidelines and had staff post reviews to up their rating, since they didn't like mine. Luckily, Yelp filters their reviews, because they can see when a business has done this. They have harassed my family via text message over my review. The owner not only reviewed his own business, but posted very personal information and lies about my family in his review, when he could have just messaged me or been a professional a picked up his phone and called me. Please see the filtered reviews - I will not flag "Ron S." review, because I would like for everyone to see what you are getting yourself into if you sign a contract here. This is the behavior of the business owner. Yelp is a platform to share your experiences with a business and that is exactly the way that I use it. I regularly review businesses on Yelp and my reviews are always 100% honest and truthful. I would never give a business a negative review without first approaching the business and giving them an opportunity to rectify the situation. This business told me that they were going to do one thing and completely did another. I posted my review in May and I had spoken with the manager in March. They had months to hold up their end of the agreement that we came to and they chose not to. This is bad business and I absolutely feel the need to warn others about this. This business has damaged my near perfect credit rating which has possibly put my career in jeopardy after the manager told me not to worry about it, the contract would be taken care of. I took him for his word. In the past, I have given businesses poor reviews, based on unsatisfactory experiences. One of them sent me a private message and offered me a gift card to give them another try. I quickly updated my review because THAT is professional behavior. THAT is how a business should be run. THAT is how a business should treat their customers. I have never seen a business publicly post a very personal response, like "Ron S.", the owner of Top Flight has. He is so neglectful of his business and his customers that he does not even notice a negative review until months after it has been posted. Never has this business owner taken the care or the time to contact me directly about my concerns. Anyone that questions my review can feel free to message me. I have pictures and have saved all documentation, voicemails and now text messages to back up everything that I said (because I could tell from level of professionalism in my dealings with this place that I probably was not through with them. I had a gut feeling that their word could not be trusted.) and I will gladly share it with you.
