Had been meaning to check out this spot for some years but being on the other end of Mississauga, I've never found the right time to check this place out. The chicken shawarma plate was $10.99 and massive portions. Rice, potatoes, salad, chicken and pita. The rice had like vermicelli in it or something of that nature. Chicken was flavourful. Potatoes were decent. Salad was probably the weakest point but alot better than most shawarma spots in Peel. Service very friendly.

Very good shawarma with all the toppings. Hot sauce is unbeatable paste style, highly authentic. They have weekly deals. Monday is 2 shawarma for 10$ can't beat that. I will try the plate at a later date.

We've been there and did takeout many times. Good shawarma and decent prices with parking in the same plaza.

There was a little bit of a line, but no big deal. The service was friendly, the prices were cheap, and the shawarma was great!

Please take my review into consideration knowing that I haven't been there in at least 15 years…read more That said, I feel like I owe this restaurant a review because it was such a big part of my life and holds so many wonderful memories for me. When I moved to Canada in 1995, this restaurant was within walking distance of my sister's apartment, so we ate there all the time. Back then, if I remember correctly, they had a buffet for around $15 per person, and it was an incredible value. The food was always fresh, delicious, and plentiful. This restaurant became part of many chapters of my life. When I got married, I brought my husband and his family there because I wanted them to experience the food I loved so much. Later, when I had my children, it became one of the places we would visit whenever we were in Mississauga. At one point, we even lived in Mississauga for about a year and a half, and if we couldn't make it to the restaurant, we would order takeout instead. The amazing thing was that the food was just as delicious at home as it was in the restaurant. The restaurant itself wasn't huge or fancy. It was simple, comfortable, and focused on what mattered most--the food. The staff were always welcoming, and everything seemed to run smoothly. To this day, the lentil soup and the kibbeh are stuck in my head. I honestly think they were some of the best I've ever had in my life. Sadly, I can't enjoy the kibbeh anymore because I have celiac disease and have to avoid gluten, but those flavors are still some of my favorite food memories. I also remember that the mother of the family was involved in the cooking. Whether she is still there, retired, or if the ownership has changed, I honestly don't know. Because it has been so many years since my last visit, I can't speak to how the restaurant is today. What I can say is that the memories I have of this place are wonderful. The food was excellent, the service was great, and it became one of those special restaurants that stayed with me throughout the years. The next time I'm in Mississauga, I plan to stop by and see if the food is still as amazing as I remember. If it is, I know I'll be leaving with a huge smile and a full heart.

I was so happy to have happened upon this great eatery that features shawarma and pizza! I am…read morevisiting the area and I LOVE well seasoned food and the food was so amazingly flavored and fresh! I really enjoyed my falafel platter immensely. It included fluffy, made in front of me (to order), falafel doused in a garlic and kickin' hot sauce over rice accompanied by a side fattoush salad and hummus. The falafel was cooked perfectly and had a fluffy and not overdone or super friend texture to it. The sauces drizzled on it were AMAZING, especially the hot sauce which the secret receipt he explained was passed down from his Italian born grandmother through the generations! I could drink this hot sauce and garlic sauce , it literally was SO good. The side fattoush salad featured fresh and crisp vegetables and was delicious as was the hummus. Everything tasted very fresh! I gladly ate there at the side bar with tall chair seating which allowed me to chat with the nice and gracious owner, Alex, who explained he moved from Italy and uses Italian 00 flour and other real deal Italian ingredients in his sauce. That is why his pizza is far above the competitors in the area. You are getting high quality pizza here because the ingredients are just superior. And, where on earth can you get an awesome quality pizza with shawarma on it? Here folks! My dining companion had a chicken shawarma wrap, the regular size, and it was HUGE. But, more than that, it was delicious and completely devoured. No complaints there. One thing to note is that Alex prepares things in batches and when he sells out he sells out for the day. Check my pictures to see a picture of the delectable pizza from dough he hand tossed/stretches in front of us. Alex explained the Italian origins of the pizza components. He explained with the finer flour and better ingredients leave you not feeling heavy or with indigestion after eating it. Alex takes pride in his craft and the results are shown by the food he produces. Located in a strip mall off a side street off Dundas street this spot is unassuming. There are two tables and a bar eating area in the store. The owner was super friendly and welcoming and the food was bomb. Definitely check this place out if you are in the area-you will be glad that you did. We will definitely be back before this trip is over. Thank you, Alex!

I called ahead this time, and they had lamb shawarma pizza, so we headed over right away. There are only two tables inside. Unfortunately, both were empty when we got there. My husband got the lamb shawarma wrap (super size), and I ordered a medium lamb shawarma pizza because that's the smallest size they offer for lamb shawarma pizza. The food took about 15 minutes. The pizza looked and tasted amazing. I ate 1/3 of the pizza myself because it was so good. My husband really enjoyed the wrap too, but when he tried the pizza after finishing the wrap, he liked the pizza even more, and this is in a full stomach already. Overall, I highly recommend this place. This is a family owned restaurant, and the owner is a nice guy who makes great food. We will definitely be back again.

I tried a variety of the meats and they were cooked to perfection--tender, flavorful, and well balanced with just the right spices and sauces. Nothing was dry, which made every bite enjoyable. Even though it was busy, the service was quick and very welcoming. The restaurant itself is spotless and clearly well maintained. They also offer traditional desserts like Om Ali, knefe, and rice pudding. If you want a more relaxed café vibe afterward, there's a café in the same parking lot run by the same owners with very comfortable seating and even a prayer room. Overall, a wonderful experience that definitely did not disappoint. I'll absolutely be back.

I remember looking over and thinking, "What is this place that's so full of life?" It was bustling with people and had such a great energy. I had never tried Egyptian food before, but I was feeling a little adventurous. I'm really glad I did. A few dishes were recommended, but I was told the Koshari is beloved in Egypt, so that's what I ordered. Be prepared for a bit of a carb coma, but it's absolutely worth it. It was delicious. The mix of pasta, rice, lentils, chickpeas, and crispy fried onions worked surprisingly well together, especially with the sauces they give you. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Toronto.
