The closer we got to Cedar City, UT, it was clear that the battery was dead and we were on the alternator. We confirmed it the next morning when AAA jump-started the battery again. To be safe, we had the van towed to Steve's. We did not have an appointment. We were stranded over the holiday weekend. Fred was incredibly caring. He didn't have the battery, ordered it from his many resources to deliver it to him, installed it and checked the alternator in between the MANY cars he was servicing.
