You can't ask for a better place to get a haircut. They treat you like your family. It's worth my drive every time.

Five star hair cut experience for our 3 year old! The guys who run this barber shop are incredibly nice and our barber, Elias, gave our little guy the best cut he has gotten yet. We walked in on a busy Saturday morning and waited 20 minutes for our turn. Inside is very comfortable with leather chairs, premier league soccer on a big screen on, and complimentary non-alcoholic drinks. The decor is modern yet welcoming with all the Boston sports teams pictures on the wall. For kids, they have a fun car shaped barber shop chair and a screen playing kids shows. Felt way less chaotic then going to a kids place like Snip Its. There were several kids there today also getting their hair cut so they definitely have experience. For $25, the price was reasonable and worth every penny for the positive experience we got where no tears were shed. I can also add they did a great job on the dads that were there too. Anyways if your toddler needs a kids haircut, skip the Snip It's and give Top Legend a visit. read more

I have taken a toddler here for a haircut twice and they did a great job both times. First time was the toddler's first haircut ever and he had an intense meltdown. The barber dealt with it with total professionalism. I really appreciated it. Second time the toddler was much calmer. My usual barber was closed due to a family medical emergency and I was starting to look like a hippie. While in the Westwood area for business, I found Top Legend on Yelp. (When I've found a barber or stylist over the years, I am very loyal and remain a customer for a long time, however given the circumstance I desperately need a cut and the need for this trumped my fear of trying a new barber sight unseen and without a recommendation. I am glad I did. The shop opened just four months ago and everything in the six-chair shop is brand-spankin' new. Despite this it has an old school barber shop vibe. They have a small fridge offering complimentary cold drinks, as well as candy, coffee, and have several large screen TVs showing various sports. Instead of the seventh chair, they have a replica Jeep to use for kids cuts. I waited for Elias (one of the owners) and found in him a very friendly, talented, detailed barber. Really though, and not to overstate, he is an artist. His thoroughness, attention to detail, and the care he offers each customer really makes him a true craftsman. I found him to be a throwback. He listens to what you want and works swiftly but does not make you feel rushed. The regular haircut is reasonably priced ($30.) and includes my favorite part -- a razor shave of the back of your neck including warm shaving cream. It's a slight bit of a drive for me to Top Legend from my home, but I believe I've found a new barber. read more

Go here if you want them to do whatever they feel like doing no matter what you say. My haircut was actually good, but I said to keep the flow and it's all gone. I spent four months growing that man cmon. I don't even use YELP I just had to say this to save someone else. read more

Umm yeah this is by far the best barber shop in ALL OF GREATER BOSTON - yeah I said it. But this isn't a Super Cuts, Folks. If your expecting a quick in and out you need to check yourself at the door. Top Legend takes no "short cuts" and takes great pride in their delicate procedure. Came in for family haircuts. Dad and both kiddos (girl 3.5 and boy 2) for the kid's first haircuts. They did an absolutely amazing job! They were quick and kind and exceptionally efficient! Haircut was done in less than 2 Bluey episodes! Managed my daughter's curly hair, and not a tear anywhere! My daughter said immediately afterwards "I want to get my hair cut again!" In all honesty, this is the best barber shop I have ever gone to in my entire life. The reason for this is because the two full-time barbers, Amir and Elias, are the best barbers on the planet. Amir has been my barber for the last 9 years and I would follow him to the ends of the earth. Every haircut that he has ever given me has been superb and he has never once missed the marked. He always gives me the time I deserve because he will not skimp on any respect. His partner, Elias, is very similar to Amir as they are long-time friends and colleagues. I was disappointed when he told me that he was moving his place of employment to Westwood but, because there is no better barber than he, I go the extra time (even when smiling when Route 109 is crowded) because I know I will feel great for a while after one of his haircuts. Amir and Elias are equally proficient with men and woman, children and adults, young children and older adults. Bring the entire family for a pleasurable experience for everyone. The shop is clean, bright, comfortable, and their generosity knows no bounds including wide screen TVs (with eclectic taste often catering to its patrons also with snacks and beverages tailored to individual tastes).
