Avoid this company--especially for weddings. I booked a 40-passenger bus with Top Notch Party Bus & Limousine for my wedding day, and they showed up with a 30-passenger bus. It caused chaos and stress when we should've been focused on celebrating. What made it worse is that they've completely ignored all my calls, emails, and texts since then--no explanation, no apology, no accountability. Totally unprofessional. Have used 3 times now and always super easy to work with. Prices are on par with other rates out there for similar services, definitely a good deal if you're splitting the price with friends. Drivers have always been super professional and easy to work with. You get automated texts that your driver is on the way, and at the end as well. Bus was stocked with ice and some waters, and some cups. Sound system has always been good - used bluetooth to control. Highly recommend in the metro detroit area! I made a reservation with Rochestor Limousine for a party bus on April 23. The total for this reservation was $1500 plus tip ($300). The bus arrived on time. The driver was a man named Diontae. Within 10 minutes of our journey, it had become extremely hot in the bus. I tried adjusting the temperature using the temperature pad but it kept blowing hot air. I told Diontae what was going on. He made some suggestions but nothing he was saying worked. I had 3 other people in my party try, but nothing was working. It was an 80 degree day and the temperature inside the cabin read 87 degrees. I had two elderly people on board along with several children. The conditions were terrible. People were extremely uncomfortable and nauseous. Two people threw up (in bags) on the bus. When we arrived to our destination, I had told Diontae there was no way we could take this bus back home. The problem had to be fixed or the bus had to be replaced. I had texted Diontae during our time off the bus. He said the problem was fixed. We got on the bus and within 5 minutes, realized the problem was not fixed at all. As a matter of fact, it was HOTTER than it was driving down. The conditions were extremely uncomfortable and dangerous.  I called Rochestor Limo the next day and spoke to Ronnie. He told me he would call me on the following day to discuss (this never happend). I contacted the bus driver Diontae. I then learned that the bus belonged to Top Notch Limo in Troy (Ronnie's cousin). I called that office on Monday. Spoke to a young lady who told me someone from Top Notch Limo would be contacting me the next day. That also never happened. After contacting Top Notch again, they told me they would be sending me a check for a paltry $200-a far cry from the ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS I paid these jokers. I contacted Ronnie from Rochester Limo. He said "Didn't my cousin give you $300?" No Ronnie, it was actually only $200. To say I'm unhappy is an understatement. I spent ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS on a miserable experience that made everyone sick. My family is in the restaurant business and I deal with the public every day. I am not one to complain. But both Rochester Limo and Top Notch Limo are worthy of a terrible review. Both companies communicate poorly and are certainly not worth taking a chance on. Look elsewhere if you want a better experience than I had. read more

This company provided the worst party bus experience I've had. The bus was late, the driver left us at the first destination, lastly we were removed from the bus by the police. The company as a whole provides no assistance to clients after hours. On this particular night, the bus driver only gave his contact information to one person. As we arrived to our first destination we announced we would only be there for a half hour. After waiting over an hour for the bus to come back or drive past, which is normal practice, I decided to call the main office because the phone with the contact information was mistakenly left on the bus. I assumed since this company is generally utilized for nightlife events I would have no problem getting someone to contact the driver on our behalf. I called multiple times and the phone went straight to voicemail. After being outside in the rain for Almost 2 hours we, on foot, tracked down the bus. After contacting the owner directly he provided nothing but excuses. He did not care about our failed customer experience. He provided excuse after excuse to protect his driver. After we finally gathered our whole crew from walking the streets looking for the bus we aired out our frustrations to each other. We came together collectively and voted to stay on the bus and have a good time for the last hour or so we had. We had people from all across the country fly in for this special occasions so we wanted to celebrate the way we intended. After realizing the company would not be offering compensation for the issues we decided we would move on and deal with the issues later. After we told the driver we would be staying on the bus and we just wanted to drive around he began moving. We finally got the music connected and we began pouring drinks. After about 15 minutes the bus stopped. We all assumed there was traffic. A few minutes later the bus doors were opened and we were asked to exit the bus by the police. We had not spoken to the driver. We were not misbehaving. We were not rowdy. Prior to exiting the bus I inquired about the reason we were being removed. The driver told me personally he did not want to listen to us speak about our frustrations, it made him uncomfortable. We had stop speaking on what happen for more than 30 minutes so his reasoning definitely took me by surprise. The lack of accountability and customer Service this company provided to us was completely unacceptable. If the driver had been on time, followed the "drive around" policy or spoken to us before having us removed from the bus, this experience would have been saved. We lost money from clubs we never made it to, lost time standing outside and some people were left without transportation while waiting for our arrival at the next stop. Overall this experience was horrible. Worst party bus experience I've ever had. I would think twice before booking. Some company policies are definitely in need of change or enforcement. read more

It's really unfortunate that I have to leave ONE star. I would rather leave no stars at all. I have dealt with several different party bus/limousine rental companies over the years, and never have I EVER had an experience like the one we had with this company. Choosing a company to help celebrate a special event and then to be treated and have the experience we had is absolutely ridiculous. The bus arrived 15 minutes after it's scheduled time we were contracted for. When our party tried to enter the bus, we realized it was the wrong size. We had party of 28 and were told the bus would fit over 30 comfortably. So, during the 5 MINUTE ride to our first destination, we had guests sitting on each other's lap. When we exited the bus, the driver was told to return in 30 minutes so we could go to our next destination. 30 minutes passed and the driver was nowhere to be found. An hour came and went, an hour thirty, hour 45, still..no driver. Parts of our party left on foot to try and locate the bus. We stood in the rain waiting for the bus to come back. The first location was at capacity at this time so there was no way to reenter. At 1am, members of our party were able to locate the bus using an app to find a phone that was left on the bus. Once the driver arrived, obviously no one was happy. He stopped me on the way in to tell me that there was no time left on the itenerary. I didn't prompt him to give me this information, it was volunteered. My contracted friend whose 30th Birthday celebration it was was on the phone with the owner, trying to find a solution the night's many problems. He placed the blame on her and never offered an apology. We were on the bus for a total 20 minutes sitting in the same spot. We lost the reservations and deposits at other clubs we were to attend during the evening, and the owner couldn't even recognize his company's part in the fiasco. We decided to stay on the bus and finish out the time we had been contracted for. We poured drinks, listened to music, and tried to have a good time. After being on the bus for about a total of 25 minutes (30 including the initial 5 from the restaurant to the first destination) police entered the bus and told us they were there remove us. No one was rowdy or even speaking to the driver. As we were exiting the driver again offered information saying that full payment wasn't yet recieved, when they had a credit card number on file. An officer took me to the side and told me that they had been called because the driver didn't feel safe driving us anymore. No one threatened the driver or was even speaking to him. We were all too busy trying to get our friend to have as good of a night as she could at this point. The bus showed up late, wasn't the correct size, disappeared after our first destination, and then we were escorted off by police, adding embarrassment on top of all of that. The owner sent a message to the driver mocking our friend about how upset she was. He also sent a text to her at 2 am THE FOLLOWING NIGHT requesting that she not say anything negative about his company online, which is EXTREMELY unprofessional! As a business owner, I am extremely shocked at how everything was handled. There has still not been an apology issued, only more excuses as to why everything happened the way it did. There is no way that I would allow an employee and representative, of not only my business but of myself as well, conduct themselves in the unprofessional manner he did. I would not recommend ANYONE use this company for future events. Extremely unprofessional and non accommodating. read more

The bus was clean and nice. The diver was on time... Here's the problem... The driver was picking our group up after a big birthday party. I was hosting the party. When the driver asked me to produce the payment for the ride in cash at the time up pick up I was totally unprepared to pay. It was 1:45 in the morning, I had 17 guests in the bus waiting. I had given a $100 credit card deposit on the phone when I ordered the bus, They sent me a confirmation e-mail that showed the deposit and balance due. Everything seemed fine. They made no mention on the phone when I ordered the bus or in the confirmation e-mail that I would have to produce $400 more in cash at the time of pick-up. I just assumed they'd put the rest on my card. I had to pas the hat and take up a collection from my guests to cover the bus ride. I was put in an embarrassing situation. Kind of like treating a group to dinner at a restaurant and realizing you forgot your wallet at home when the bill arrives. This was totally unacceptable. I was tempted to order a fleet of Lyft rides and tell the driver to get lost. Other than that the ride was fine. read more

I booked a bus for a girls trip to Cedar Point and to say it was perfect would be an understatement!! My friends and I had an amazing time despite the long ride! Our driver Adrian was amazing and was so nice about stopping if anyone needed to use the restroom! He was patient and showed up on perfect timing once we were ready to leave the park!! I would highly recommend Top Notch for any party or event you have.. The bus was clean and came with waters and napkins as well as outlets to charge our phones! This was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with any transportation service. Our group of family and friends were left at a venue for 2 hours, after the driver was instructed to return within 30 minutes. We had to use find my iPhone to get back to our bus due to the driver never returning to pick us up. Once we finally got back on the bus we were escorted off by police after 20 mins due to the driver stating he felt uncomfortable with us complaining about being left. We used top notch for my 21st birthday and had the most amazing time, everything was flawless.The bus was nice and clean, great speakers, awesome lights. The bus was on time, and when we got off they told us we didnt have to clean that someone would do that for us so that was amazing! very good communication through booking and arrival. We got a text when our bus was coming our way and phone calls to confirm twice. Our driver Terry was absolutely amazing and without her our night would not have gone as perfect as it did. She was so sweet and nice and greeted us on and off the bus every time. She had the most thankless job with 27 21/22 year olds and she never once lost the smile on her face. I can not even write into words how amazing of a job she did, she went above and beyond! I have used this company multiple times for a variety of events from birthdays to weddings to even just taking a larger amount of people to the airport and I have never been disappointed. The sound system, lights, beautiful interior as well as the extra amenities all exceeded my expectations. Every driver I had when using Top Notch was very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Their communication skills need improvement first of all. They are not very professional. Our experience was underwhelming. Our driver showed up almost 40 minutes late. She had called our bridesmaid to ask for directions even though we were not familiar with the area as we were at a hotel and remained on the telephone with the bridesmaid for well over 10-15 minutes interrupting her getting ready. However, the driver was very pleasant and accommodating once we were on the road. That is why I gave two stars instead of one. The party bus requested was for 30 people as we had 27 in our party. The company lies and says it fits that many people but it is really suited for only 20. We really squeezed in but had to have two people stand the time entire time we were out. Simply unacceptable for the price paid, $750!!! I contacted the company after the wedding to let them know we were disappointed with the lateness of the driver as I paid for 5 hours and we didn't receive our time due to her arriving late. They will not compensate me for the lost time! They lied and told me that I would receive a call back from management. They never called. I have called several times with no results. We contacted the company earlier in the week regarding the driver's gratuity as it was mentioned in an initial conversation and I wanted to make sure it was definitely included so I wouldn't have to have cash with me. There was confusion once we arrived back. I exited the bus and went into the hotel to get ready for the ceremony. I was called back down from our suite so she could get her tip! The company says they don't allow that but it happened. I feel bad for the driver. I wanted to make things right with her but the company won't call back. I would not recommend them to anyone! Where do I start.. my friend hired this company for her wedding. She reserved two buses and the air on the larger bus wasn't working on a 90 degree day. They took away the larger bus and we all had to squeeze together in the smaller 24 passenger bus. We had over 30 people so we were all sitting on each others laps. The bus also hit my friends car on her wedding day trying to navigate when the driver was told not to go that way. One of the bridesmaid also forgot something on the bus so we called the driver and he said he couldn't come back when he had only left five minutes before. We kept calling stating we needed the things left on the bus. He finally pulled up and we were going to give him $50 for coming back but when he pulled up he opened the sunroof and threw the items out of the car and drove off. We then called Top Notch because they wouldn't give us a refund for the bus and asked if he could give us a discount for next time. He stated he would give us a discount and give us the larger bus that we had reserved for the next time we used them. So we reserved them for this past weekend and when they pulled up we realized it wasn't even Top notches party bus it was a different company and it was a 24 passenger bus. We had 32 people and had to tell some people they weren't allowed on the bus after we had taken payments from everyone and they were all excited to enjoy a night out. This company also told me that top notch usually sublets there reservations to other companies and they are very unreliable and if she didn't take the job we would not have had a bus that night. I called Rimone Yaldoo the "owner" numerous times and have yet to have a call back because "he is in a meeting" for 3 days? We had the worst night and we're sitting on each other laps and unable to even stand up because the bus was so small. The lights never went off on the bus and the music didn't work for an hour we sat there trying to figure it out with no help from the driver. The next day I went on their Instagram and they had a picture of NHL players they were driving around on the bus we were supposed to have had. So what is the point of placing a deposit when the company didn't show up? Great customer service. Top notch? more like low notch. Out of all 30 people we had you will no longer receive any of our business again. read more
