Opening day was so popular that we could only get standing room tickets when we walked up to the ticket booth. There are two main locations to buy food. The menu is placed on big flat screen TVs and they provide the calorie content of each item. There's a large variety of items that are typical for a ball park. This isn't the place to eat if you're trying to eat healthy tho! There's a row of craft beer tents on the walkway off of the 1st base line. There's plenty of railing space, high-tops, benches, and tables to choose from. The ballpark has a beautiful view of WVU in the distance and the immediate area has developed with restaurants, hotels, and stores. There's ample parking, too. We paid $5 to park across the street from the ballpark. I would highly recommend visiting the ballpark for a family night out or to hangout with friends!

Peaceful 170-acre park in the Morgantown hills not too far off the beaten path. White Park consists…read moremostly of unpaved walking trails and several adult and youth-sized baseball fields. Supposedly the entire park encompasses five miles of trails. Everything I saw was pretty easy walking with gentle inclines. I was able to park (for free) in an enlarged shoulder of the road just off of Mississippi St and access the trails right away, but there aren't clear trailhead markers or maps to let you know where you are. In fact, maintenance seems to be pretty hands off. Watch your step right after the rains as things can get muddy and slippery! I didn't see much by the way of wildlife while walking around, but the Cobun Creek Reservoir is a nice backdrop for the fall foliage. There were wooden benches every now and then for resting and enjoying the scene. Ran into a few other locals walking their dogs, trail running, or just enjoying a mid-day stroll.

There is a small concession stand inside selling $5 pretzels and of course pepperoni rolls. No beer though, that's only at the football stadium. You do have to pay $1 each time for the bounce houses but that was ok. We also really appreciated the more affordable food choices. Nothing like going to a Pirates game. We once went there just after a major snow storm. While the road leading into the park was totally clear, the actual parking lots were not. I actually got the car stuck, but did eventually get out of there okay. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have tried to access the park the day after a major snowstorm, but my dog and I loved our daily walks there so much that we hated to miss a day.. In my opinion, this park is way under-utilized. Not too crowded on most days, including weekends.
