I had a couple of contractors along with a personal friend who is a building inspector for the city of New Orleans tell me that my roof had many insulation errors. So I had no choice but, to file a lawsuit against the roofer. So I needed an expert. I found Don on this site. His wife handles his appointments he was easy to schedule, very knowledgeable, both he and his wife were very nice and his prices were very reasonable. He found even more problems with my roof than I thought I had. On trial day the roofers attorney saw Don freaked out an request a continuance. The attorney basically told me that he had dealt with Don before and that he was too thorough. Thanks to the leverage supplied Don we settled out of court. Talk about an angry roofer . In my initial dealings, Thomas B.was very knowledgeable, provided answers to any questions I had, and his thorough inspection helped me avoid a costly renovation in the long run, despite his repeated attempts to ask about the sales price of the home, because of his interest in the layout, and location. Because of the positive experience, I decided to contact Thomas again, for the inspection of another property. I called, and Thomas said he would be available to inspect the house the following week (it is important to note HE scheduled the day and time). Even though I had 10 days to get the property inspected, waiting a week for Thomas to thoroughly inspect the house would have been "cutting it close", but I trusted I had the right person for the job. The day of the inspection came, and I called to confirm Thomas would be at the property for the scheduled time. I called and left messages. I arrived at the site, as did the seller and my realtor. Both asked where the inspector was, with my realtor attempting to contact Thomas to no avail. When he finally called back hours after the agreed upon time, he mentioned he thought the inspection was scheduled for later that day. I had to remind him that he scheduled the appointment for that time, and he wasted my 10-day period to have another company inspect the house, because I trusted he would arrive when he said he would, and he wasted the seller's and realtor's time. He offered a paltry $20 discount on the service, I refused, and suggested that he offered a better discount, considering he was a no-call/no-show, we all accommodated his schedule, initially, we tried repeatedly to contact him, and I missed a day of work. Ultimately, his response was "I was out, living my life!", the conversation ended with him hanging up, and attempting to perform damage control by apologizing, then wishing me luck getting a new inspector, after having a total meltdown on the phone. This is not the person I met for the first inspection, but because of his lack of professionalism on this occasion, I was able to find a great home inspector, who spent hours checking out every area inside and outside of my new home, while being as informative as possible!

I identified a billing discrepancy across multiple periods and offered to resolve it for $18 based on the contract. The issue was not addressed, while automated payment reminders continued. This review comes after months of giving the company repeated opportunities to correct what should have been straightforward administrative issues in good faith. The service itself may be fine, but the billing practices and communication are not. I would rather pay more to work with a company that is transparent and consistent than continue doing business with Arrow.
