We've had mixed experiences with boutique hotels, but this is an example of one done well. It's conveniently located downtown on Main Street (upstairs) and is a perfect way to either visit the city, or enjoy a night while passing through. The front desk is virtual in the form of text messaging, which we had zero issue with getting our room code and to check out, and we found they responded to our inquiry about parking promptly. The parking lot is off of Railroad street in a public lot that we had zero issues with. The electronic locks for the rooms took a moment to understand, but worked fine to lock/unlock the room. (Hint: Double tap the logo and the keypad appears). Though the pricing can be a bit expensive, it seems in line with what you can expect to pay in mountain towns. Overall, our stay at The Inn left us with the feeling that we got what we paid for, and we would absolutely stay here again.

Plenty of parking close by. Nice decore, plenty of hot water and good bathroom. Sent text 2 days prior to visit. No response. Directions didn't say that door needed to be locked electronicaly when you left the room. For first 24 hrs I couldn't get the door to lock. I was told that the doors needed adjustment. The safe in the room was already locked when I arrived. Was told they couldn't find the key fob to open it. Took a day to fix. New toilet had 3 or 4 problems. Installed incorrectly. I fixed a few of the issues to keep it from sticking but still could use some work. I didn't have any noise issues. The restaurant below closes at 9pm. I stayed 3 nites and was hiking most days and going to bed at 8-9pm. The mattress and pillows were fantastic as well as well functioning A/C and a good ice machine. There are no dressers in the room. Not even luggage stands. You Have to work out of your luggage from the floor. Not good for this level of Inn. No usable chair in the room. There was one "sling" chair that was not easy to sit on and zero back support. I like a chair to read. I don't like to have to sit in the bed whenever I used the room. I sat in the chair to put on my socks and boots and the chair tipped over and my forehead struck the edge of the bed leaving a half inch cut. Minimal blood. Trash, trash, trash!!!! There was one trash can located in the bathroom and no place to empty trash. Hydrate, hydrate. I used a case of water and 16 bottles of Gatorade. Nowhere to put the empty bottles. There are 25 steps to to rooms. I am athletic older man. It was painful to carry multiple 40 lb. suitcases and packs up those stair. The Inn did send me a text...... on the last day, asking what they could do to improve my stay. To little too late. I have been gone for 4 days. I had expected the INN to reach out to me personally about my issues. I expect the owner to respond to this review. That is all u can expect for service during you stay.... The perfunctory virtual response. This place has potential but alot to learn about hospitality. I sincerely wish them luck.

I'm so glad I booked it anyway because we had a fabulous stay! The pool was clean, actually warm, and fully heated. The hot tub was also very clean, and the jets were perfect. We had the entire pool and hot tub to ourselves on a Friday night--which is rare! The shower had great pressure with instantly hot water. The beds were very comfortable. The mini fridge was impressively cold (just how I like it). Plenty of TV channels, and the heating/air controls were easy to adjust and worked perfectly. No bad odors whatsoever. I also appreciated that it's only two floors--it felt quiet and easy to access. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, smiling, and helpful. Breakfast pleasantly surprised me: bacon, potatoes, pastries, cereal, yogurt, orange juice, apple juice--and the coffee was excellent. It's walkable to several restaurants and only 0.9 miles from the Ivy Ballroom at the Surf Hotel, which was perfect since we were in town for a concert. And the best part of all? The view from our window--absolutely stunning sculpted, snow-capped mountains. We would definitely stay again.

I hardly know where to begin. The price of this room was outrageous for what we received, and the…read morelevel of disregard for accessibility was both unacceptable and deeply frustrating. No guest--especially one with disabilities--should ever be put in a position where their well-being feels like an afterthought. My friend and I were traveling for a funeral with her elderly service dog. I was in an air-boot with a cane, dependent on oxygen, and had made specific accessibility requests two weeks in advance. I clearly stated that we required a first-floor room unless the property had an elevator. Despite this, when we arrived, the manager informed us that the only available room was on the second floor. Because it was the first weekend of open hunting season, every other hotel within 50 miles was fully booked, leaving us with no alternative. To make matters worse, my friend was forced to carry her large, elderly service dog up and down the stairs multiple times. This was not only physically exhausting for her but also stressful and unsafe for the animal. The fact that these circumstances were allowed to happen underscores the complete lack of preparation and respect for accessibility needs. The room itself was mediocre at best. It was somewhat outdated, though not filthy, and thankfully we encountered no pests. However, the bathroom was in unacceptable condition. The tub and surrounding areas were coated in years of grime and dirt--a level of neglect that speaks to poor maintenance and a lack of proper cleaning standards. The only redeeming factor in this experience was the compassion of the check-in manager. He showed genuine concern for my health and even offered to cancel and refund our stay, though this provided little comfort when our only choices were to sleep in the car or remain in unsuitable accommodations. He personally offered to carry my oxygen concentrator upstairs, and I arranged for someone else to bring it down the next day, for which I am grateful. However, beyond his personal efforts, the hotel offered nothing to correct the serious inconvenience we endured. I was only able to recover part of the expense through Expedia. This experience was not only disappointing--it was disheartening. Accessibility should never be treated as optional, and advance requests should not be ignored. Disabled guests and their companions deserve the most basic dignity and fair treatment. Unfortunately, this property failed to meet those standards in nearly every regard.

We had enough towels, quiet neighbors and plenty of toilet paper. The building is right on the main road, so it is easy to find and the location was quite convenient, since there was a good restaurant a few doors down, a breakfast/coffee shop almost right next door and a 7-eleven across the street. My chief complaint are the pillows. You need a good pillow to get good sleep and it felt like I was laying down on a plank of wood. I woke up with a crink in my neck and so did my friend. If you do stay here, bring your own pillows! ** The map here on Yelp is completely wrong about the location of the motel. It is on the main road that goes through the middle of town (Rt. 24) and sits between Oak and Mill Streets. For some reason Google maps it wrong. **

Stayed July 7th, 2018…read more I don't mind inexpensive, old, run down, but clean roomed motels. This fits the bill. The air conditioner made noise, but didn't blow cool air. The woman at the desk was almost hostile so I didn't think it worth asking for another room. The room was basic, with a 90s tv we didn't turn on. The beds were fair - the kind that bend when you sit down. The sheets were old, thin but clean. The bedspreads were almost quiltlike - made out of real, fairly thick material - rather than the shiny, satiny material normally found in inexpensive motels. I don't know whether this is good or bad. Mike Rowe in "Dirty Jobs" takes the bed spreads off the bed in every motel he stays in. He doesn't trust what's happened on them. There were two bath towels, no more, no less. The price was a total of $104 for two queen beds. I asked what the cost was in the winter and the unfriendly innkeeper said $69 plus taxes, etc. The front desk area was cluttered and filthy. There were animal heads on the wall behind the stone faced lady that hadn't been dusted since the 60s. Off to the right of the woman's shoulder was a calendar with the face of Donald Trump glaring pugnaciously at you. I didn't read the bold phrase underneath his head. The next cheapest motel with rooms was $170 or so. I would stay here again, but would look at the room first and make sure the AC worked.
