He did an excellent job, made pleasant conversation, and you could tell he had a lot of experience cutting hair. He even used a straight edge razor to get a close shave around the neck and ears. The cut was around $20 overall and I'm really happy with it! You may have to wait a bit normally, but if you want to get more than your money's worth I recommend the wait. Another thing to note is that it is a unisex haircutters, not just for men. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a new barber. I will for sure be back again when my hair grows out!

There's one Barber, the owner Frank who is an excellent Barber and provides great conversation while you get your haircut. It's one of those no muss no fuss barber shops - Old School scissor and machine cut, with a straight edge finish. The haircut cost $18 and for a lineup it's another $5. In my opinion, $23 is a great deal for an excellent cut and lineup. I'll definitely be back! If you're in the area and looking for a quick, high quality cut, I would highly recommend you stop by! Ps. The fade was way off and it was a lot shorter on the sides then I had shown him in the photo, he was done in about 15 minutes, I did not realise exactly how bad it was until I got home, there was hair that was not cut from the sides that was a lot longer that he had missed I basically had uneven lengths all over, my wife and kids couldn't stop laughing at the state of my hair, I wore a hat for the next 2 days until I had another barber from a different barbershop fix it up, who by the way done a fabulous job under the circumstances. The only reason I give this place 2 stars is because Mo seemed like a nice guy I guess the cut I wanted was just too difficult for him, and no there was no error in communication as I had presented a photo of the cut I wanted.

I've been getting the same haircut for maybe 10 years now (I find haircuts to be a tedious and usually uncomfortable ritual). My biggest complaint is usually how far off the mark my given barber is from what I wanted, but there are lots of other factors to evaluate. Sometimes the barber might take twice the time of another, and yet I walk out with half the haircut because I'm tired of squirming and smirking in my seat, or maybe my wallet is starting to feel a little exploited, or the barber is just a little rough with his tools. Well, at Ernie's, I had no complaints. For an oldster, my barber was a very light touch with his instruments - no hair pulling, or fingers fumbling at my scalp and he was done before I knew it. In fact, I was already quite happy with his interpretation of my never-changing hair, but he was more than happy (almost insistent) to tweak it further. And when it came time to pay, $17 seemed more than fair for his time. Maybe I caught my barber on a good day - an early Tuesday morning at the beginning of his work week, before a day's or week's worth of standing on his feet might reduce his limbs to a leaden drag - but I know I'm going to pay him a second visit.

I recently moved and tried to go to a different barber today and I'm really regretting being lazy and not making the 10 minute bike ride to Ernie's instead, because the new place completely screwed up my hair and that would never have happened at Ernie's.
