The selection of clothes are reasonably priced from $20-$100 and there are many selections of gifts if you want a unique present for a friend. I love that many of the clothes can be for work and for play- I ended up getting two blazers and a pair of luscious suede winter pants. They also have a Bare Minerals collection with a beautiful display of skin care and foundations and a display of jewelry which has been curated with high-quality designs. They had awesome stuff and a wide variety items. The clothing, belts, jewelry, and accessories were all of very high quality and very reasonably priced. I bought an adorable blouse and stylish pair of jeans. The owner was delightful; very friendly yet professional. This is a great place for the wives and daughters to get away from baseball and enjoy cute and stylish apparel! I will definitely be coming back to the Purple Star. Walmart is like a magnet it will draw in customers from the worst to the best. I suggest that if you are concerned about that simply go to walmart.com and actually purchase the items online, after comparing the item with its competitors, also online, and then the store employees will put it in your cart as a completed purchase. Don't be hesitant about asking an employee for assistance or even going to Customer Service for assistance. The perennial scam in all Big Box stores is excessive returns and misuse of the self-payment registers. Be assured that all stores have the same security methods and they are quite good at catching the bad people. If you just want to walk around and shop another suggestion is to call the store and ask them if they have a specific item, and to actually hold it for you. There is an excellent free Walmart app for your smart phone to make shopping much easier by actually locating the item and current price. Walmart still has a policy of meeting the cost of all other "local" competitors with the actual flyer listing prices. The pizza and Italian-type foods are the mainstay of many college people.
