I visited Tops Farm as a guest of a friend. As a guest, you may not make purchases, nor may you ask for certain types of information about the products from the staff, but you can certainly browse. The place is well organized, with large, clearly written displays on several walls. There are several counters available each with identical setup. Service is fast. It is cash only, but there is an ATM inside, and you can get some additional perks if you do make a purchase using an ATM withdrawal. Used to go elsewhere but they were unable to do business and recommended Tops Farm. They are very nice, pleasurable and extremely accommodating to me since I am disabled with an extremely bad back and am usually in pain upon arrival after driving from NH. If you spend certain levels of money you get a "bonus" like a pre-roll or equivalent. The menus are written well on chalkboards and easy to read. They have a freezer full of free ice-cream just because! Sometimes they even have ice cream made for dogs. They are knowledgeable about their products so they have been trained. Great prices too! I've been a customer here for two years, and love all the people and the amazing deals that they have. But a year ago, I disagreed with an employee, nothing huge, a misunderstanding. I wanted to apologize at the time, but she refused and the management refused to let me. I let it go, I love the employees, I tip them, I get my product and go, but this employee runs from the room every time I come in and it makes me awful, guilty at my neighborhood weed store. Today, I came in and this employee looked at me, made a face and left the check-in...I said to the manager, "She's still angry, she can't even let me in the door?" Then the manager refused me entrance because she said I was angry...so I'm shaking because this employee truly needs to run in fear from me!? They had to let me in to use the ATM, finally...but I was told that it is entirely my fault and said we have to talk about it, the manager said no we don't! So, I can't go back, I have to end my time at the only local store in York...how do I become the problem?...unless people talk, tensions only rise, after a year, a year that I've felt judged by them...they could at least lie about it...so I don't have to know, to buy weed in peace...Weed dispensaries aren't supposed to cause anxiety but remove it, therapy...medicinal, I don't know why I'm singled out, but I advise caution. Wow Ownership! I love how you paint me the bully, you don't even know me other than to judge me by my size and voice...I was trying to talk with your employee...she made the drama, she ran away while I was trying to understand what is going...you permitted me!?! to be served...How sad you paint me...how sad your world, I wish you nothing but joy, but I have an abuse background and am very sensitive to causing harm...You are the worst kind of retailer...shaming your customers to this extent. read more

My husband has a medical marijuana card and I told him this shop was in the plaza we usually go to. He went and he was amazed at how nice it was and how wonderful the staff was. He brought me here once to see it and he was right - it was amazing! It looks more like a high end store than a "pot shop." I was definitely impressed. They have some good sales, especially if you order online first and it is cash only, but they are really good at helping you if you don't know what the heck you are doing the first time you go there. just have to show some love to my favorite local dispensary!! not only do they have high quality product (that's an understatement) but the staff is unmatched. the staff at tops are always extremely helpful and thorough when informing, they're educated, and not at all pushy to sell anything to you. i've been to many dispensaries, but tops is always consistent and always have something fun and exciting, ice cream on the way out, donuts some mornings, it's always a good time at tops, i've never had a bag experience here with the staff or with other customers for that matter. the longest time i've ever had to wait to go inside was maybe 5 minutes, and in that time I'd be talking to other customers waiting to go in, always having something great to say about tops, or if they've never been I tell them how great it is!! read more
