The owner's son has autism and that inspired him to create a place where people with disabilities could work. His son has his own line of pop products in the store. You can also grab some cool merch while you're there! I got a tub of caramel popcorn, which was gone in an embarrassingly short amount of time. The tub was $10. I also got a limited time flavor, jalapeño cheddar. It wasn't my favorite because it was very cheesy and I don't like a lot of cheese on my popcorn. But if you do - definitely for you! Before I recently went to the Mall for a few specific stops, I searched online to see where, exactly, I needed to go in the Mall and I noticed there was a place called "Doc Popcorn", and was curious about it since I love popcorn. Once I arrived at the Mall and attended to my errands, I steered myself to find this shop. Arriving at the top of an escalator, I immediately smelled what I came for and found Doc Popcorn just off to my left. I walked up to their counter and was greeted my the staff person behind the counter. I was able to sample one or two flavors that were out on the counter, and I asked to try another 1 or 2 flavors before deciding on the "better butter" flavor mixed with "triple white cheddar". I ordered a medium-size bag and asked her to leave it "open", which enabled her to pile more into the bag (vs. leaving empty space at the top to close with a twist tie). I don't think I've ever spent so much $$ on popcorn outside of a movie theater (where I usually get a "large" size so that I can get free re-fills!) Yes, the popcorn flavors mixed together were good - addictively so. I ate about 2/3 of the bag sitting there on a bench before leaving the Mall, and then I finished off the rest later that evening at home! What a treat, but oh, what a price to pay!

Butcher was very helpful with the regular sarcasm they can dish out but I also feel I might have gotten scammed with my cash payment that is required. It could have been my error but something felt strange in our transaction. Then four of us were in the gift store at the check out counter and a gentleman walked in and asked if cash was required for the food just in the coolers right inside the door and the woman answered that in the market it was but I am not sure she answered his actual question. he immediately turned away and left as we all attempted to say they have a cash machine in the store but no mention from the gift store sales person. I felt sorry for him. We all enjoyed our items we did purchase but unfortunately Norway did not win but they did put up a good fight.
