I had developed a very sensitive rear molar which I had brought to there attention on my last cleaning visit. It very temperature sensitive, in the 3 to 6 pain level when it spikes. The upshot of Jeff Torghelle's consolation of the tooth was that there's some bone lost. I asked if there was anything you could do to fix it. His response was that there's nothing he could do. I nursed it a along with more diligent home cleaning and rising for a couple of months seeing that there was "nothing he could do", but it got so I had to put orajel on it every night to fall asleep and constant pain of about 2-3 all the time. I made an appointment with another dentist, got an immediate appointment and xray & consolation. He gave me the options of a root canal or pull it. I didn't know those options were available, I am not a dentist. The dentist scheduled an appointment with an oral surgeon that day and I got the tooth pulled. Pain gone Initially talked to the office manager in regards to trying to get a partial refund on my in office dental plan that I used for one visit, and then Jeff got on the phone, and basically lied and made up a bunch of stories, accused me of not listening to him. It became a shouting match of he said, you said and Jeff hung up. If you're looking for a dentist, I would go elsewhere. There are several red flags in that office. Needless to say, I am finally switching dentist after trying Jeff Torghelle for a few years. read more

Dr. Torghele has been my dentist for a pretty long while now, and I absolutely love him and his staff! I have had pretty extensive work over the years, from cleanings to eventually having the remainder of my teeth pulled, the last 8 all came out at the same time, and it was a much better process than I could have ever hoped for. He then had to built up a part of my jaw bone, surgically implant "snaps" in to it, and he also made my full set of dentures. They look as natural as can be, and the top denture fits so PERFECTLY, that I have NEVER needed adhesives to hold it in place, even when I eat, and I have only needed adjustments at the onset, as part off the normal process. NOT ONCE, in all this time, through dozens of procedures, can I think of a single complaint, or bad experience, and that's the honest truth. He is patient and incredibly focused on getting you the best result possible. His dental assistant Jill and hygienist Parker are knowledgeable, but equally as important, they are kind and friendly and it is always a good appt, because of all of them. The reception area is well appointed with enough seats, ALWAYS clean, and they are professional and have gone above and beyond to accommodate my schdule. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Torghele. I recently moved from Montrose Colorado & saw the reviews & was quite impressed. I reached out for a tooth ache which required a root canal. Initially the pain felt better but, less than a week later it began to throb off & on. ( I want to add Dentist did not use a bam) It didn't feel normal so went back in for recheck. Said things looked pretty normal but slight shadowing over top of root. Said this may be due to the healing process. It is now three months later & three more visits & still being told my pain is normal. When I called this morning the office manager Chalese told me I don't know what you want us to do? I woke up at 5 AM in excrutiating pain that brought me to tears down by jaw & neck. I have since made an appointment with an endodontist for re treat. I'm just sad because I was not treated like my concern was valid. And..... now I have to pay another $900 to an endodontist less than 90 days of paying this office a $900 for the canal to be treated. I would never go back!!!!! My dentist in Montrose took care of his work. I guess the dentist in this office needs the money more than I do. Feeling very discouraged. read more
