Surprisingly, this delightful Italian restaurant in downtown Cabo San Jose is outstanding. When we…read moregot close, we knew we had found an exceptional place. It is easy to find, and there were plenty of parking. A beautiful singer sang incredible songs outside, and the place was so adorable decorated with flowers. The food was amazing: mussels, olive oil fresh pasta, a house salad (the dressing was outstanding), and a shrimp/chicken dish. All were 9s. Seasoning was light and every dish blended well. Kudos to the chef. Max truly made our night. He was the 'perfect' serve-attentive, kind, and knowledgeable about everything we needed. It's one of the best restaurants I've been to in Cabo, outside touristy places. Definitely will be back!

After finally locating the restaurant we decided to sit inside as we wanted to duck the humidity and not be subjected to the awful outside lounge singer - think bad karaoke where the singer thinks they're good but not. We ordered the Cadillac margarita and a regular margarita - both frozen. The cocktails tasted as if the tequila were absent but I digress. We passed on appetizers as we knew there would be bread; however, we learned bread comes with the food not prior to. We had the ravioli with 4 cheeses and the bolognese with house made pasta - pro tip, if you don't pay the $60 pesos it's boxed pasta ‍ both dishes were well prepared and just enough food before you go into that uncomfortable food coma. Service was good enough but nothing special. If in the area I'd definitely return as it was one of the better meals that we had in Los Cabos.

When we called for reservation we told it was our anniversary- there was a small chalk board at our table with a congrats - classy and appreciated. Our brunch was sooo fresh and flavorful. We had reservations when we arrived, but they couldn't find our reservation and we ended up waiting about 15 minutes for a table. It was also extremely hot and humid. I understand that Flora Farms is an outdoor experience, and they did have fans and little misters spraying water, but unfortunately, they didn't do much. The fans were very loud and didn't really provide much relief. There were also quite a few flies and bugs around the tables. They had things on the tables to help with the flies, but they didn't seem to be very effective. Unfortunately, our server was also a major disappointment. He barely checked on us, and when it was time to pay, we waited over 25 minutes just to get our check. That really shouldn't happen, especially at a restaurant of this caliber. The food was also a disappointment compared to my previous visit. The beet salad recipe had changed, and I didn't find it nearly as flavorful as it was last year. I understand that the menu changes based on seasonal produce, but I ordered a chicken curry salad and honestly did not enjoy it. The bread was extremely thick, and overall, the meal just wasn't very good. We also got the cinnamon roll it wasn't soft at all, it was very chewy and tough inside. Har I know Flora Farms is known for its beautiful setting and farm-to-table concept, and I really wanted to love it again. Unfortunately, this visit left me disappointed from the service to the food to the overall comfort of the experience. I probably won't be returning. It's unfortunate because I really enjoyed my previous visit, but this time around, it felt like the experience had noticeably declined.

Looking for local places, we found Good Vibes, which was less than 1 mile away and took less than 15 minutes to walk there. We were excited to see they offered all-you-can-eat pancakes for only 95 pesos, which is about $6. They also offered some combos which included eggs, coffee, and hash browns for affordable prices for approximately 120 pesos. Good Vibes is located in the shopping center adjacent to the Mega Grocery Store. So, you can eat a tasty meal, then grab some groceries to bring back to your hotel/timeshare/resort. The inside is mostly kitchen and to order, but there are a few barstool seats available. We chose to sit outside on the wooden picnic style benches. The service was good and friendly. We were the only customers on a Monday mid-morning. We ordered 2 combos and 1 all-you-can-eat pancakes. The pancakes were huge at approx 10" across. The AYCE orders came in sets of 3 and I only able to make a dent in the 2nd order. No way could I finish it all! They also offer waffles and French toast as options to the combos. Our meal for the 3 of us, including coffee, orange juice, and a couple of water bottles, was just under $20. Based on how good the breakfast was and the service, we will definitely be back to try the pizza the next time we're in town.
