I'm glad I trusted both my friends and Francisco. He and his sons are very professional. When looking at various colors, Franciso would come over to paint different shades of paint for me until I found the color I liked. He offered paint selections and ideas as well as incorporated EVERYTHING I asked for and more! Working with any home service provider can be challenging because you want the service provider to care for your stuff or house as much as you do, and once Francisco was done with the job, there wasn't really anything for me to pick up or clean after, and that means a lot to me. I hate having to clean up the mess some providers leave. Francisco also finished the job in record time. He is fair priced, and his work is exceptional. I couldn't be happier! I added a few pictures of the before, what he had to work with. The before color of my house was fluorescent pink, puke! An overall honest review of a good contractor. Scroll to…read morethe bottom for a short summary. Also scroll down for my edits regarding the entire situation. I'll start with the negatives and then progress into the few positives. Expect your prices to change. And this only means increase. Initially quoted at a certain price the price was continually increasing which is something I expect but when it changes to include additional services costing upwards of 250-1,000 dollars you probably want to get a second opinion. Unfortunately it was a situation where 80% of the job was complete but not the last 20%. My flooring was quoted without quarter round and then I decided I would get quarter round. Jose (the owner) then lets me know that based on the flooring I will not need quarter round anymore but can instead pay the same amount we agreed upon to apply redguard (fills cracks). I obviously agree to this. I then go back and look back at our agreement and notice a discrepancy in payment and instead of the price coming down he increases the cost by an additional 177 based on increased square footage and labor. Then after the flooring is finished I'm told it actually needs quarter round which I was initially convinced not to do based on prior discussions. Do consider this is also after my painters have finished all their painting so I cannot ask them to paint the quarter round and save myself some money. Out of a strong desire to trust in the best of mankind I decide to ask a quote regarding the cost of quarter round installation with color matching to my floor and a quote to have it painted on white. Initially the cost of quarter round color match was going to be 13 dollars a piece (12-14) pieces required and 500 dollars a day for labor. This is then reported as a mistake and is actually 30 dollars a piece. I then ask the cost for white painted and it costed 550+150 for painting labor and I supply the paint. Overall cost? An additional $1000+. Also, he didn't install a block between my bedroom and my master bathroom. I asked him to come fix it as I couldn't afford his prices. He didn't respond to me for 2 days until I asked him regarding prices on quarter round. Onto the positives. He responds relatively quickly and comes on time 90% of the time. I did arrive late a few times so you can slap me on the hand for that. He's also relatively friendly. Do consider I am not the type to leave bad reviews Edit; Shortly after posting this review Jose reached back out to me. Albeit a little defensive I can tell it is a man who understands business and his reputation. I will admit that I did have painters around who most likely made his job more difficult than it should have been. It was unfair of me to only discuss pricing changes as the overall flooring job was performed well and efficiently. He offered to completely reimburse me for my cost to go to another contractor and have quarter round installed as it was a misunderstanding on our behalf. His overall cost was also lower than I was quoted by any other contractor. I believe he is the kind of man you should talk things through very clearly with regards to pricing and the overall job otherwise you may be finding yourself in some possibly unhappy positions. He is the kind of man you want to discuss things with by phone and not text message as there is likely to be some misunderstandings. After rereading our messages back and forth he was constantly looking for solutions to problems that were occurring. Be sure to understand that if you are upset with any work, contact him and he will do his best to sort you out. Overall his response to the situation is why I am making this edit. If I had been more direct with him regarding my feelings towards the situation I believe the overall project would've been great! Summary: A considerate hard working man. Highly willing to do any means to provide a 5-star service. Quality affordable work despite some larger bumps in the road.

The first time, he sent a text with an excuse and an apology. We rescheduled and I took another day off work and the same thing happened. Except this time, we called and left a message and sent a text. Text messaging showed that he read the message. This time, he didn't even respond. I wasted two vacation days at work. I wouldn't waste my time on this company. No business etiquette.

At the start of the project he was there everyday at the same time in the morning until it was completed. He and his 1 helper did a great job!! We were very happy with his work. So driving around is not easy but one hour prior we confirmed to meet at 7pm at the house. It's now 7pm and he blocked my husbands number and I called from my phone, it's just ringing. But when my husband calls it goes straight to VM. I'm sorry but to stand up people and business is not professional at all. And to block someone is also unprofessional. We've done a lot of business in the Bay Area in remodeling/renovating homes and wanted to use someone local but I guess people don't want business. We have text threads of him agreeing to meet at 5:30pm then we called around then and he asked to move it to 7pm. And now he's nowhere to be found or answer. We are so happy with his work that after he painted the interior we also had him paint the cabinets in our kitchen and bathrooms.
