We arrived in Valeggio Sul Mincio on a rainy Sunday afternoon seeking Tortellini in Brodo for lunch. We were turned away from several places because we hadn't booked a table.
Finally, we found Tortellinandi, which was oddly empty - it might have been because the vibe was a little odd (but after so many other rejections we didn't care).
They have a Tortellini Tasting menu for 19 Euro, which seemed appetizing, but we had our minds set on having brodo to warm us up. So we got an order of that along with Tortellini with Butter and Sage. Both were good! And the accompanying bread was tasty (and was even better sopping with butter and brodo)!
However, we preferred the brodo we had the previous day at Antica Locanda Mincio (see my review), but my boyfriend preferred the Tortellini in Butter dish here.
The wait staff was attentive. My biggest issue with this venue was that they played a popular radio station, so we had to listen to ads over and over again. read more
