Went here for the very first time to pick up an order because Nagano is closed on Monday's. We ordered the Teriyaki chicken to-go and "Man Oh Man" it was good! This used to be a DECENT place... Now it has gone down hill. Constantly adding things to your order when you didn't order it at all. The food has always been Okay but never that good. The Servers seem to be Incompetent and always have to lie about what you order. They just are rude and LIARS!!!. They always add extra items to your tab to make extra money and then lie about it. I'm never coming back there again! I went there today to have a nice sit down lunch. They kept bringing the wrong food to us and wouldn't even take it back when we informed them of their mistake. It took over 30 minutes for them to take our Drink order. They accused us of lying when we were going to pay for our meal because we were trying to tell them how we didn't order a certain meal. They Tried to Charge us OVER $60 dollars when our meal was around $26 dollars! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!!! read more

I was kicked out before I could be seated because I had a vested legitimate service dog. I am referring to a real, task trained and well behaved service dog. I explained it was the law for me to have access and I could call the police and was pointed to a table with the Catawba Sheriff's department who heard the entire exchange and said nothing. I randomly decided to give this place a try and man was this a great random try. First off the staff is top notch on service, at no point did my drink go below 3/4 even though I was drinking like a dehydration camel. Good service, decent Hibachi, bad sushi. Servers were fast and friendly. I had dinner on a slower night. I ordered hibachi chicken and a nigiri combo with spicy tuna roll as well. The tuna roll was alright, but the scallion was not fresh and gave the roll an "off" taste. The nigiri was yellowtail, salmon and tuna. None of which were fresh, they were all dry. The hibachi was decent, it is the same as any other restaurant. Nothing special about it. Also, appetizers included egg rolls and soup. Then I received a fortune cookie after the meal. I will give two stars because the cuisine smelled very good as we walked in, waitress was polite and prompt to get with us however their is a sign outside that states "sushi" but it was not lit up... I couldn't tell if it was lit driving by due to the sun... I found this place by Google searching "sushi" and it recommended this business, as well as their Google ad has images of sushi on it. Guess what? No sushi served. Opened up the menu and flipped to the sushi section and it was marked out with a piece of tape and a sharpie written message stating "no sushi." I rarely write negative reviews lets face it there is usually something good about a place to say. Well, I went to have lunch at this establishment and was refused service. I have a service dog, and I have been in 5-star restaurants with this and my first service dog with no issues. When a business does not know the laws governing this, I carry a copy with me so I can educate and make sure that future patrons do not have issues. I also video the interaction so that there is no question I acted in good faith with complete respect. I do not try to trap the own nor am I looking for any lawsuits all I want is for future patrons to be treated fairly. After going through the law with the owners, they still wanted me to leave which I did with no issues. They did call the police, but I had already left the premises. So as for food I have no clue but service and understanding I give them a negative rating. I am truly thinking about going to the strip mall area and setting up outside their place to educate the public on the ADA. The owner is rude, the service is terrible, and they take for ever to refill drinks. Last time I went there, I found a really long blonde hair in my food. When I complained to the owner, the owner blamed me and said that it was my hair. My hair is brown, not blonde. After arguing with the owner for about 20 minutes, she said that she would give me a 20% discount on my meal and my wife's meal. She seen that I was angry and my wife also giving her a mean look, she offered to give us 30% discount. I was about to not pay at all because I did not hardly get to eat anything but my wife forced me to pay them for nothing but my wife also said that we would never come back here and we use to eat here a lot.
