The menu stated "chicken shawarma wrap with lettuce and pickles. 8$" okay fine, 8 dollars is a little higher priced than your average Mississauga shawarma. Thinking they would offer more toppings for my wrap, HE LITERALLY ONLY PUT CHICKEN, LETTUCE, AND PICKLES. THE WRAP WAS AS THICK AS A BABIES ARM. FOR 8 f*kin DOLLARS. wtf??? Came here for shisha during Arabic night. There's live music so there was a good crowd and a lively atmosphere. Since it was our first time here, we ordered grape mint shisha as that is our barometer to see if it is good. We were happy with it and the charcoal cubes were a plus. We also decided to order some food and tried the akawi cheese manakeesh as well as their minted lemon drink. The manakeesh was tasty and had the right amount of cheese on a thin crust. The minted lemon drink was delicious and tasted like a mojito slushie. Now the service is what brings this place down for me. Our food came out fairly quickly but it took 20 mins or so for our shisha to arrive. The table beside us were seated after and received their shisha in about 5 mins. We flagged down our server and it still took at least another 10 mins. When we were asking for a refill on coals we flagged down a server who was walking around with them and he saw us and promptly walked past us to refill other tables. Not impressed. read more

Came out here for Mother's Day to open our fast- my mum saw a FB ad post by one of the owners. TDLR: We're not letting my mum pick restaurants anymore. No coordination with staff, no established hygiene, poor management, sub-par food, overpriced, bad to no service!!! DONT GO HERE. This place is a joke. We got a buffet for six (one kid). Where walked over the plates that's were on our table to a line of 15 people waiting in line for food- prison cafeteria style with food trays at the front of the line. If felt like Gordon Ramsey cause I hadn't eaten all day and was hangry af but this place is a joke. First impression: 1. Nice big place 2. They have shisha but didn't have any 3. The whole place was very cold Problems: 1. Dirty serving area but spotless dining area 2. No one was wearing gloves or hairnets (found hair in food) 3. BBQ chicken was RAW 4. Biryani had a stale smell prlly old 6. Chicken kari was good but dry + oily 7. Costco fries... honestly no one goes out to eat food that we can buy from Costco's fast food restaurant near checkout. 8. Men's bathroom was bad! The 2 stall toilets did not work (bro went across the street to use bathroom) 9. Workers plopped large glass bottles onto tables for water and moved on to the next table- never saw them again 10. My experience with the dining area manger: When asked about my experience she took the feedback about the raw chicken poorly and instead of apologizing she told me. "Oh well, everyone's eating the chicken. It's finished now. I was just eating the chicken earlier." Raw chicken will make ppl sick... After this whole experience with the food, the co-owner that seated us was at the register. I felt like I paid a high price- close to 200$ and the tip of 20$ was included even tough WE DID NOT HAVE A SERVER. I wouldn't have minded paying 20$ for bad service but the whole time at the restaurant: I served myself food, grabbed utensils myself, used the 1 drink machine to serve myself. And only interacted with the coowner and the bad service manager. The co owner needs better management and staff. Not coming back but, it's a shame that this local business isn't going to be around for long. I want to say more but these are the main issues. Recently visited with my nephew. Was suggested by someone who may have known the owners. It advertises as a Pakistani style restuarant. Went there about 9 pm on a Saturday. Huge space. Nearly all empty. Sign said , wait to be seated. No one was there to seat u. Approached the front desk and was advised to sit anywhere. Ordered a Pakistani staple, and spicy chicken bites. Was asked the table #. There was none at the table. Had to indicate from far as to our table whereabout. A young polite serve took the order. Who came after a few minutes and advised that the staple was not available. Since the menu is so mixed up, we chose not to order Alternate. The chicken came , that was dry and wrapped in some kind of Sauce, not tasty at all. When went to pay and advised the mananger about our disappointment. She said what could she do if ran out of staple. Also said there is nothing wrong with her chicken but may be with our pallette. And raised her voice. When I asserted in response she said you are being watched on CCTV. Also refused to apologize, and showed no courtesy and care of service. We ordered cheese and zataar manakeesh, plain rice and half mutton karahi (we were told half serves 2 ppl). Also took bone in chicken biryani to go. On one of their "menu" screens it said if you check in in fb you'll get free gulab jamun. We asked the waitress/greeting lady about that and she confirmed that we will get one gulab jamun. Cheese zataar manakeesh was ok. Plain rice was delicious. Mutton karahi was delicious but VERY little meat, and half of the meat we had were bones. For $40 there has to be more meat. Bone-in chicken biryani is delicious, again very little chicken, few small pieces. Before the waiter went for our bill I asked if we will get the free gulab jamun as we did check in and our post was liked by the restaurant itself while we were there. He laughed and said he will be right back. Brought our checks, we paid and he said thank you and have a good evening. We did not get gulab jamun. We had no napkins either. I was in the area, in a rush and in the mood for a quick small snack. I noticed that the space formerly occupied by Nader's Middle Eastern was replaced by a new restaurant named Toshka - Taste of Dubai. Anything that is new I like to check out It's just opened I believe a couple of days and looking at the menu saw that it's filled with a combination of middle eastern and Western dishes. . Since I'll be doing a long workout tomorrow. I settled on the garlic bread without cheese . It came well presented on a wooden plate with some tomato and olives. It was hot and soft and I ate and left .. Service is typical of an newly opened restaurant in that they are good but get better over time . I was quite excited when I saw this place in the plaza. Didn't intend to go but I couldn't help it. I like to expand my food knowledge and wanted to try some Dubai food. I'm a huge fan of middle eastern cuisine but have never visited a place with "Dubai" food. I went in to get takeout. The menu was a bit puzzling. I kept trying to find something special that I can't find elsewhere, like a Dubai specialty. Nope. I couldn't find. I was hoping to at least see some grilled kabobs or mandi or some ethnic specialty. Nope. They have shawarma and wrap version of shawarma, manakeesh and that's about it. The rest of the menu is occupied by stuff like chicken supreme or franchisco beef. Or even Mexican chicken. They also have pizza with a middle eastern touch. Pretty sure these aren't native Dubai dishes. I ordered the soujouk sandwich and the sausage pan appetizer as these are the closest "unique" things I can find on the menu. Both were very underwhelming. The sausage pan only had about 5 pieces of sausages. It was mostly fries. I paid $10 for fries and 5 scrawny bite sized sausages. I could taste only a little bit of the pomegranate sauce. The sandwich could have used more meat. It had very little toppings. I feel it could have been improved with more meat and stuffing. This was also about $10. Taste wise they were just "ok". The meat in the sandwich tastes like the meat you find on Turkish Pide. I would pay maybe $7 at most for the sausage pan and about $7 for the sausage. So I'd say this place is quite overpriced. Their shawarma plate is a whopping $16. From the picture it looks about the same stuff you can get elsewhere for about $10-13. I don't think I'll come back to see if it's worth it. read more

We took my grandma here for the first time and she loved it! The food was delicious and extremely fresh. The manager and the staff were all so sweet. The manager/owner himself came multiple times to check if we were doing okay/whether we needed anything and did his best to make sure we were pleased. They serve hooka (shisha) in a closed environment with poor ventilation for KIDS BIRTHDAYS! I have no idea how they pass the health inspection. As you walk in, you are greeted with a disgusting smell of tobacco and charcoal. We left with a headache caused by all the second hand smoke. read more
