TLDR version: horrible dining experience, decent tasting food Let me start by saying that the quality of the food here was great, and very tasty. Unfortunately though, there's more to a dining experience than just the taste of the food and that's where this restaurant falls absolutely flat on their face. Horrible dining experience. First off, the waitresses were completely lifeless, mumbled everything, didn't even have the care to look in your direction while speaking, let alone look at you. Asking things like "what's popular here" didn't really yield any response from them either. In addition to that, the wait time of the food was a bit too much. We were one of only two small tables in the restaurant at the time and had to wait 40 minutes for food that usually wouldn't take anywhere near that long. The quantity itself was a bit on the low side as well. And finally to wrap it up, on a hot summer night, it was boiling inside due to their AC not working. This is by far the worst food that I have had in Mississauga.. to begin with we had to wait for the food for like 45 mins.. but that is not even the worst part.. the food was just nasty overall..the my kolachi karhai smellled so bad that it made me want to throw up. They have some great discounted package meals for takeout on their website. We got package 3 that serves 2-3 people, and we definitely had leftovers for 2 people. The chicken and rice is really flavour! I really enjoyed my meal. The food is a bit greasy but expected for something like this. I recommend this place and will be back. read more

This is the best karahi's (Pakistani meat dish eaten with roti breads) in Mississauga! The owner was super friendly and the wait staff made sure we had everything we needed at all times during our meal. The restaurant is located in the Dixie Square shopping strip mall. It has ample parking and the inside was spacious and had room enough for extra large groups. The menu is extensive when it comes to options. The Behari kabobs were totally amazing as was everything on the charcoal family grill platter. The goat karahi and chicken malai boti karahi were off the charts! Fresh, piping hot, quality meat and ingredients in everything! Every single entree had its own unique flavors and was totally different than other items we ordered. The BEST Pakistani dinner entrees are showcased here. We live in Chicago and have been all over. This is a must stop place whenever we are enroute to Toronto and on the way back to the states. This is my first time having Pakistani food and it was delish! Our server was extremely polite and explained the entire menu and took my dairy allergy seriously. I ordered the Chicken Karahi and they were kind enough to customize the dish to accommodate my needs. The dish was absolutely delicious! I docked off 1 star because all the water glasses on the tables looked a little dirty. And throughout the night, the restaurant got extremely busy and really loud. Pakistani grill place may not be the best choice for vegetarians. Aside from the naan, there is literally only 1 veg dish on the menu. The Good: - nice, new and well branded interior - they know how to cook meats - service was polite The Needs Improvement: - open concept + busy atmosphere = very, very loud atmosphere - portions were on the small side. Nihari dish was primarily watery gravy with literally 3 chunks of meat, kabobs (a bit too salty) needed to be longer - although service was polite, it was very inefficient. Servers didn't seem to have "sections", but were rather all over the place! - looong wait times. It took 30mins for food to arrive, after ordering. It took 15mins to get the bill Although it was really busy, I'm not sure what the fuss was about. Maybe if they organised their service better, gave servers specific "sections" to work, sped up their food roll-out, and increased their portions, I'd understand. Do NOT GO THERE! What terrible and disgusting food. After eating I have been feeling like throwing up. Right now I am sipping on some green tea and anti acids. Frozen packaged food reheated and served. All bbq and Karahis are like that. And the servers verified this fact when I asked. If you know cooking, tell me how can a goat karahi or even chicken karahi come out cooked in 10 minutes? That's impossible. The goat was so smelly that I can't tell you. This review is going to be about her and how she so beautifully managed to ruin my Mykolachi experience :) We were a group of four. A waitress showed up to take our order. Because of the extremely loud machi market ambiance I could not hear people talking from even across my table. As she was taking the order from my brother I could tell there was a five second break in their conversation. I took that opportunity to inquire from her about their WiFi password. Our dear friend the waitress, whoever she was, took utmost offence at my audacity to break her chain of thought. She suddenly went quiet and, without even bothering to as much as turn her head in my direction, just rolled her eyes towards me. What followed was the most condescending "yeah, i'll get it for you" in the history of "yeah, i'll get it for you"s ever. She then finished taking the rest of the order and left. That moment in time it was made very clear to me the kind of service I should expect from this place. Rest of my forty-five minutes there were spent just eating food and waiting to get out. Food is not great but its a lot better than majority of Pakistani restaurants in the GTA! Their karahis, while they have some flavour, lack a kick of spices that is usually found in Pakistani karahis. Their bihari and other kababs, while they are tender and cooked good, lack depth of flavour i.e they have the right taste but it's not as intense as it should be. Dam Biryani was downright bland though, no flavour whatsoever, chicken tasted like it was just boiled and placed with rice. Saw the mixed reviews but decided to give it a shot. First impression, the place is very nicely decorated. Gives an authentic 'desi' vibe. Service is quick and attentive. Now the main part. The food is amazing. The peshawri karahi is awesome. The 'my kolachi' karahi is full of flavour. Naans came out fresh. The BBQ platter has generous portion. The bihari is tender, juicy and perfectly cooked. The chicken is full of flavour and cooled to perfection. The brown chutney adds the right combination to the food. For people who complained about the noise, newsflash...it's a traditional Karahi joint. People come here to eat, talk and socialize. And have a good time. Great place. This new Pakistani restaurant opened up just one month ago. I was able to check them out last night. We arrived around 7 pm were seated right away. Someone took our order and food came in 25 mins. We ordered the Peshawari karhai which was absolutely delicious. The curry sauce was heavenly I could just dip the freshly baked naan in that sauce and be so content. The bihari kabob was a bit dry and under seasoned. I also received a free kheer because I posted on Instagram which was very nice. Service was very good for a restaurant which is only a month old. We went on a Saturday morning and was seated right away. The food was delicious and the staff are very attentive. We tried their breakfast buffet and glad that it didn't disappoint. The nihari(beef stew) is very flavorful and tender. The naan is always fresh and hot since they have to refill it all the time. The gawal mandi kay cholay (chickpeas) is very good. It has a family vibe ambiance but at the same time suited for adults who wants to enjoy their meal. Overall, it's a must try restaurant for someone looking for a Pakistani restaurant. read more

One of the worst restaurant experience I ever had. I normally don't leave negative reviews but tonight's worst customer service force me to do so. First of all their employees don't even have a clue, how to serve the customers. There was more than 1 hour wait for the food and every time we asked that what taking too long even people came after us are getting served and we are still waiting for the food but instead of replying to us they start staring at each other faces like dumb idiots. And when the food came, it was like someone made it in a hurry. Hands down, The best Pakistani Food in the city. Every time I eat here I am amazed at how good the food tastes. The sesame naan is excellent, and I would recommend any of the "Kolachi" dishes. Well made, great taste, slightly expensive. The decor is average for a Pakistani restaurant. read more

Heard about it alot, finally got to try it! Went for breakfast with my entire family of like 220 people!! The place isn't that big but able to accommodate big groups. The breakfast was buffet style and had halwa, puri, naan, paya, nihari, tea and chana. Everything was fresh, and tasted sooo delicious!! Great food spot! Absolutely loved the Bihari kabab. It is as close as we can't get to Bangladeshi sheesh kabab which I miss dearly. The Karahi was good too. We took the koyla mutton Karahi which had a dark gravy. It was good but I think the signature would've been better. The nehari has the biggest piece of meat in it. Definitely better than any other restaurant 's portion size for nehari. Heard about Mykolachi from my friends and family so I decided to give it a try. So far the server is very nice and understanding. They were able to change the food option around with a problem. I was there with my family and placed order for mutton karahi and chicken karahi along with kabobs. Surprisingly I found both karahis completely taste less with no spices at all. Taste of both was the same except boiled mutton and chicken. No ginger, no garlic at all. I asked for the salad and food server brought onion ONLY. MyKolachi entices ones tastebuds with real fresh authentic Pakistani food! The customer service is fantastic. It was so easy to make a reservation and was provided incredible courtesy! The food was provided in a timely manner and it was delicious. Their MyKolachi karahi was a delicious find. Food is amazing. But service is atrocious. Time and again I have had to wait over 20 min just for someone to take my order. Then another 45 min for the food. The place is under staffed. Waiters are constantly groaning when a group of people walk in. And of course you can expect them to be grumpy because they are over worked so rude behaviour is also common. But food is something else. Best Pakistani food in the GTA! EDIT we went on Easter Monday and had to wait 15 min at the door before someone recognized us. Then waited about 25 min at the table before our order was taken. Then food took 45 mins. Totally unacceptable for any restaurant. I would say the food quality overal is okay. Must provide options for spice and chillies heat level. Chicken Tikka pieces were overloaded with thick marinade and pieces were not from chicken breast meat with price above market rate. Chicken seekh kebab were excellent. Fish fried was good. Overall. Love their food. The owners are really warm and humble. My kolachi chicken is my favourite and their chicken seekh kebab which my lil one loves is also worth trying.
