This review is regarding the Chesterfield, MO location at Kers Mill and Clarkson. I'm on Medicare, so I can go anywhere I want... I looked at going to St Lukes Urgent Care, because my primary Doctor works at St. Lukes. The reviews were TERRIBLE.. Then TAUC popped up as an option for an Urgent Care, and since they just finished this new location in the last year or less, I read their reviews. All the reviews for TAUC were really good. I called them, and in 30 minutes I was there, filled out my paperwork, and was in a waiting room getting my blood pressure, oxygen levels and had a very very thorough EMT worker asking me lots of questions. The great part is I could call and give them a heads up and reserve a time to be seen. Shout out to JOSH. The receptionist was also very friendly, so shout out to Heather. I didn't have anything life threatening, but it could of possibly lead into that. What I thought was a fever blister, ended up being a very deep tissue skin infection, which, may I add, hurt like crazy in my nose, and my nose was throbbing, and red and very very painful. I saw Dr. Sparks. From the moment she walked in the room, with her assistant, who was taking notes, I felt like I was in very good hands. I was given 3 RXs to fight the infection and also got my flu shot while there. She was very very good and professional and diagnosed the problem.. On top of my rave reviews for the personnel including the half dozen or more people working behind the sceen, the place was spotless... I think you could of eaten off the floor. Also, I thought it was great that the examination rooms had television with a family type movie showing.. What better way to set a childs mind at ease.. Another plus to this location..They have their own Pharmacy, so you can get your RX's filled there if you so choose, but they don't limit you to doing that. It's very easy to get in and out of the parking lot also. One entrance on Kers Mill and one on Clarkson. 5 Stars is the rating I gave but actually, they get 10 stars. To be able to get in and see a DR...,( not that CVS clinic isn't a good place to go, ) was truly benefical. Also, lot of examinating rooms. I was in room 13! The also have the ability to do xrays there also. If anything..I would totally recommend going to this location in place of an ER, unless you were under life threatening conditons and needed a surgery room! Thank you also, because when I got there, my blood pressure was pretty elevated. After 2 shots, and 2 blood pressure checks, the second check came in noticable less! Woohoo! I will absolutely go back even if for just a flu shot again next year. read more

I secured my spot in line for 8:00 AM when they opened & and had spot #1 per text. I arrived a few minutes before 8:00, doors still locked but patient in the waiting room already & I received subsequent text that I'm now #2 in line, not a big deal. While waiting, 3 other patients get seen before me. Texts do state that more urgent patients may be seen before me, totally understandable, but nobody was bleeding or crying in pain, so I'm interested in their triage rules. So, after waiting for about 30 minutes they then hand me the forms I need to fill out...guess it was too simple to give me those when I checked in with the surly receptionist. Guy that gave me the forms was pleasant enough & efficient. After waiting in the room for just a few minutes the 1 highlight of my visit, Riley the nurse, came in to check my vitals, etc. That all went well. Then Dr Robert Tague shuffles in, barely speaks for the 90 seconds I saw him and asked where I wanted the scrip sent. He proceeded to send the scrip to the wrong pharmacy, which I caught before I left the urgent care facility. Doc managed to screw up the scrip even more and I've now been waiting at the pharmacy for an hour for them to correct the scrip AGAIN. The pharmacist sent in the request electronically, no response. I called and spoke to someone who'd assured me the corrected scrip would arrive "in a few minutes". 20 minutes later it still wasn't received so the pharmacist called in directly and was told it would be corrected "in a few minutes". Fortunately this all happened on a Saturday when my schedule is more flexible and it's only to address a minor health issue. I usually go to a Mercy Urgent Care near me and get great service but this place opened up an hour earlier so thought I'd give it a try. Won't be making that mistake again. If Dr Tague can't accurately write a scrip perhaps he should consider retirement. Based on his looks & demeanor I'd guess he is eligible for full social security benefits at this point & shouldn't be writing bad scrips that was an inconvenience in my case but could be serious with another type of med. On 5/28/26, I went to the TAUC facility on 2501 Clarkson Rd., Chesterfield, MO 63017 for treatment of a hand injury. They discharged me with someone else's X-rays. I didn't realize this until I was at the orthopedic hospital. The clinicians there had to retake new X-rays in order to proceed with treatment. Because of their carelessness, I ended up incurring a $650 hospital bill for the new set of X-rays, which is not covered by my insurance. Since this is the result of their mishandling of my treatment records, it is well within reason to expect them to cover this cost. I've reached out to the local branch, customer feedback line, and administrator office. Much to my dismay, TAUC decided not to reimburse me. They did, however, escalate this issue to their Senior Director Steven McGovern for further review.  This only made matters worse. At first, he seemed genuinely willing to assist, asking about the specifics of the case and billing documentation, which I provided. But after this initial conversation, he just stopped corresponding completely. Truly unbelievable. At the very least, have the decency to respond to my inquiries, even if the news are not good. This is insulting and unprofessional. It is shocking that someone who is in a senior position of their leadership team would handle a customer complaint this poorly. Perhaps his behavior is merely a reflection of the company's value as a whole. I should also point out that this incident is a clear violation of HIPPA. It raises serious concerns about their commitment to safeguarding the security and confidentiality of their patients' records. read more

To be very clear, my care at urgent care in November was top notch. I have zero complaints about staff and how I was treated medically. With that in mind, urgent care billing team has been the worst part of the experience by far. I never received an itemized statement, despite numerous requests for one to be able to apply my FSA funds. After being told I had a $0 balance on the automated line, I was sent to collections. I finally got ahold of someone months later to explain what I needed, to be able to pay, and was given conflicting information. Representatives continue to be unhelpful, cannot do anything to pull this back from collections or remove collection fees, and have no care that this bill should have never been sent over in the first place. So now I owe more than before, which could have been taken care of simply, back in December. I will not be using urgent care services again. read more

I'm 30+ years old and I can say this past visit was the best experience I've ever had with the healthcare system, my entire life; outside of being born. The level of service and attention to patient care this team has is impeccable. I was in for an issue that turned out to be something they couldn't really handle as it would have been an elective surgery. They helped me reapply bandages the wound, wrote me a prescription and sent me on my way with a boat load of bandaging supplies for the time between now and the surgery with a specialist elsewhere. I went out of my way to get to this location and it was well worth it! read more

What a complete train wreck. I signed up online at 8:00 AM. They said I was 10th in line and to come in at 10. That slipped to 10:20. I came in and checked in. The receptionist was going on and on about how the new system didn't work. I was next in line for over 45 minutes. When she told her coworker that they should be telling people that the wait times were wrong and they should know it's a five hour wait, I told them to take me off the list and left. Absolutely abysmal management. Unprofessional front office. A woman had to lay down from waiting so long and the receptionist kind of wandered off to get help. Honestly, what a disaster. They never even asked me what was wrong or if it was urgent. When I said I was leaving neither of them offered anything but "okay." Just stay away until they get their stuff together. read more

I brought my 3 yo daughter in to the location for ear pain. Unfortunately, the location was closing as I walked in due to bad weather conditions. The physician assistant, Michael Jelinek, overheard that my daughter was having ear pain and said he would allow her to be seen even though they were closing. My daughter was diagnosed with an ear infection then prescribed an antibiotic that was onsite. I am very appreciative of the staff and provider for going above and beyond for us. 5/15/20 - I went in for a COVID-19 Antibody test. This was my second time at this TAUC location. The employees could not be nicer or more professional and the place is immaculate. I watched the EMT throw away his gloves and change to new ones twice during the time he was in the room with me. In the end I was negative for the antibodies when I am fairly sure I had it in January but hey, who knows? I wouldn't hesitate to return to TAUC and I'd give special props to Dr. Bee and Kevin who were both so nice and so professional! read more

My son began having severe back and neck pain. My PCP was out of town and their office recommended Total Access since they have X-ray machines and are a full service urgent care. They were booked online. I called and spoke with Laura who was amazing and got us in right away. Everyone there was very friendly and professional. Great experience! read more

This is my second review for this place! Four members of my family have been to this location at least once and we've all received great care. Two of us have also gotten our flu shots there. Today I had a chest X-ray, a breathing treatment, received an injection and was prescribed three medications which they had in stock there. I was already in their system from previous visits, so I was taken to a treatment room immediately. I was treated by a paramedic and a doctor. Everything was done in less than an hour. It's a crappy, grey, rainy day and I didn't have to leave and go to the pharmacy. Yay! Everyone is friendly, efficient, knowledgable, and professional. The facility is very neat and clean. I paid for my prescriptions and they'll bill my insurance for the rest. Couldn't be easier! read more

From out of town and upon arrival to Chesterfield for a wedding needed medical care for my husband. After contacting a Walgreens clinic, the PA suggested I try an urgent care Facility for our issue. Having never been to one before I Yelped and saw the high ratings of this one. Long story short, there is a reason why the Urgent Care on Clarkson has so many reviews and such a high rating... I can't give this facility more praise!!! They are wonderful and made a stressful situation so much better. I took my 4 year old granddaughter in the night of March 4th because she had cut her head. The nurses and staff were extraordinary. They made her feel very comfortable and explained what they were going to do. They were so gentle and caring, and while giving a 4 year old stitches can't be easy, they did it with so much compassion. Went there with a swollen ear, not many cars were out side, only 1 person in the waiting room that was only there for someone else, and was asked for my name, I gave, then I was told to sit down without any paper work given. During my wait time I watched 2 other walk ins that were given paperwork and greeted to be seen later. Front desk lady was white. I'm black. The others were white. My visit here involved a literal shot in the arm--a steroid injection, to be exact. I was visiting from out of town and couldn't shake a lingering infection. After a speedy check-in, I was escorted to an examining room. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the facility and the fact that there weren't a ton of people hanging out in the waiting area as is so often the case at these types of clinics. The nurse came in first to take my vital signs as I outlined my symptoms. The examination was thoughtful and thorough. I received a course of antibiotics (bonus: TAUC offers an on-site prescription filling service) along with a leaflet for at-home care. The experience of not feeling well away from home can be jarring. This urgent care facility exceeded my expectations. I am hopeful I won't have to return here in the future, but it is good to know that TAUC exists to fulfill my needs for timely, professional medical services. read more

Had a great experience here! Checked in online so i didn't have to fill out a pile of forms when I got there, which was nice. Even better was the fact that they received everything and I didn't actually have to fill it all in again. Was brought back almost immediately and placed in a comfortable clean room with a TV. Which was important because Husband had to miss the Bears game to bring me here. The staff are trained in emergency care - the medical intake was done by a paramedic and the docs are all ER doctors. After listening patiently to my explanation of my symptoms and timeline, the doc poked around on my belly once and knew what was up - appendicitis. However, since he didn't know me from Eve before today and wanted to confirm a bit more scientifically he sent me to their other location for a CT scan. It took me a while to get through there, mostly because they did all of the blood and prep work for the CT. Also, I am the WORST patient...I argue, ask a lot of questions, do internet research so I think I'm a doctor, refuse to do things, and I have no veins in my arms. They dealt with me like a champ - in fact, the paramedic was so skilled that I'm pretty sure she could have thrown a dart at my arm and hit my vein. Glad they are who my insurance company covers because they are where I want to go if I need future urgent care. TMI, for those who care: I ended up having appendicitis, being admitted to Mercy Hospital ER, had emergency surgery last night, and get to stay in the hospital most of the week because I was too stubborn to go in when I first noticed the symptoms so my appendix was perforated and leaking infection into my abdomen. Beautiful brand new facility. I went on a Friday afternoon with a wonderful poison ivy rash all over my face. I was in and out in less than an hour. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, the place was immaculate and they were even able to dispense my medication there on site. Bonus points for having a tv in each of the rooms. I was only in there for a few minutes by myself but I still had a few minutes of entertainment watching daytime trash tv. read more

I'm so ecstatic with the service I received from this Urgent Care! I felt rotten at work today, went in around 7PM. Waited less than 5 minutes before they took my information, rang out my co-pay, and had me seated and ready for the doctor. Dr. Powers and two very nice assistants took my vitals, diagnosed me, and got my meds all ready. I was out the door in 20 minutes. I had been to different Urgent Cares in Missouri and I always had to go to Walgreens after to fill a prescription. They had the medications on hand! I left with everything I needed. Went to this location for abdominal pain, nausea & vomiting. Had several tests done, and was told that there were no stones, and everything looked good. It was diagnosed as probably a viral stomach infection. I was sent home with zofran, which I couldn't keep down and ended up in the hospital less than 24 hours later to have my gallbladder removed because there were infact stones, it was severely inflamed, and infected. While the staff is very nice, this is the second time that I have been misdiagnosed. read more

I brought my six year old daughter in after we initially went to the pediatric urgent care that is now closed. We were seen very quickly and I think in and out the door in 30 minutes. We saw an EMT initially for vital signs followed next by the ER doctor- very happy with the care we received. read more

Great experience. After signing in, was taken to an examining room and a nurse came in to check my vitals. Dr. came in shortly thereafter and diagnosed my swollen finger problem and prescribed some meds to reduce the swelling and pain. Dr most concerned with my unusually high BP, which was likely due to having just returned from an out-of-state family funeral, and driving from airport to TAUC. Kept me there about another hour, to "relax" and let my BP return to normal levels. After 3 more readings,, in fact the BP did return to normal and I was released. Very pleased with diagnosis by the Dr, and his concern for high BP due the anxiety I was under. Won't hesitate to return for another urgent need, much better (and faster) than scheduling an appointment with my internist, which could have taken days to get in. read more

The staff and treatment were great. The emails afterward, the pits. I had an infected finger. The check-in was fast and straightforward. The wait time, almost non-exsistant. The medical staff where friendly and professional. I was in and out in under an hour with my meds in hand for a $30.00 co-pay. I was asked via email to write a review. Here it is. I thought I would wait a few days to make sure that the treatment actually took care of the issue. It did. Then I also received a "reminder" to write a review. The emails take you to a "reputation protection" site before taking you to a choice of reviews. I am positive that had this been a one star, there would be enough phantom reviews to push me way down the list. Total Access, you don't need that "service". I was treated wonderfully. This was not first experience with this location and being in healthcare myself, I have to say the total experience from check in, wait time (which is generally minimal) on through the vitals process and ultimately to the doc was very efficient and timely in my opinion. The docs are always willing to listen verses waiting to speak, which is huge for me considering I am the one that is ill. Good job guys ! read more

What a lovely place to go when you need care quickly! A very nice environment, very clean, bright, and truly welcoming, helpful staff. Check in was quick and fairly easy, but if you've been there before you can check in online. My son was brought back to the room before I could finish all the forms. Once in the room my son was seen very quickly. The PA was very nice and Dr. Fenton was wonderful. My son needed an injection and is very afraid of needles, but both the PA and Dr. Fenton were really great about it and did their best to reassure him. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely go back if the need arises. read more

I had a great experience today. Checked in online and arrived a half hour later with significant sciatic nerve pain in lower back and right leg. I was in the clinic for just under an hour and within that time I was diagnosed, had X-rays taken and examined, given a shot for pain and another for inflammation, received three prescriptions and had them filled in site, and was given a recommendation on who to see in 2-3 weeks if I wasn't better. All of this was administered by friendly and engaged staff. Thank you! While I really like my general practice doctor there's no way I could get in and out in that time with that level of service. read more

I'm not usually one to write a review for an urgent care, but Total Access Urgent Care really went above and beyond. I came here right after work and there was barely any wait. I hadn't even finished filling out my paperwork when they called me back. My PA was super sweet and genuinely cared and made sure to check all the bases on what could be wrong. At the end the doctor came in just to make sure everything went well. I was in and out in about 20 mins and that was with their computers down from the recent storm. I would go out of my way just to go to this urgent care in the future! read more

I was very pleased with Total Access. I was feeling terrible and they got me right in and out quickly, on top of being able to get my prescriptions filled there and not having to go sit at a pharmacy and wait. Hopefully I won't have to come back anytime in the future but at least I know it is pleasant and quick. Great Job read more
