After…read morebrief check-in, I was led to a changing room where I changed into new "MRI safe" clothes, and finally into nice room with windows and what looked like a brand now MRI machine. Jerry, the owner, was my technician and explained every step of the MRI very clearly. I got to choose my own music for the scans, which took about 90 minutes because I ordered two very thorough scans. Afterwards, Jerry even showed me some of the images and explained how the Radiologist would "read" them. All in all very wonderful experience. I have a family history of heart disease - both of my parents had major cardiac events even though they were both healthy. I plan on coming back every year or two. Preventative screening is the future and I don't want to wait for something bad to happen -- I'd rather know!

The physician assistant, Michael Jelinek, overheard that my daughter was having ear pain and said he would allow her to be seen even though they were closing. My daughter was diagnosed with an ear infection then prescribed an antibiotic that was onsite. I am very appreciative of the staff and provider for going above and beyond for us. Great experience that needs to be recognized!

With that in mind, urgent care billing team has been the worst part of the experience by far. I never received an itemized statement, despite numerous requests for one to be able to apply my FSA funds. After being told I had a $0 balance on the automated line, I was sent to collections. I finally got ahold of someone months later to explain what I needed, to be able to pay, and was given conflicting information. Representatives continue to be unhelpful, cannot do anything to pull this back from collections or remove collection fees, and have no care that this bill should have never been sent over in the first place. So now I owe more than before, which could have been taken care of simply, back in December. I will not be using urgent care services again.

It got me in the wrong freaking place! It took me nearly an hour from Arnold to get to this place. There are clear directions on the map that the doctor's office provides. Use those & not the dreaded GPS. The staff were very very nice. Typical of any healthcare facility to have an insane amount of paperwork to fill out. I jokingly said to them that I would gladly provide a thumb drive of my health info. for them to download. In any case, the physician's assistant (methinks) did the injections perfectly. I hate needles. I can't watch anyone give me injections. Gives me the heebie jeebies. Just a pinprick. Small needle. Simply awesome! The bad part of this experience was that the order did not contain the word "MRI." So, they had to call the knee doctor's office for a brand new order for insurance purposes. I had to wait & wait. Total time spent at this facility: about 2 hours. The headphones that they provide does not drown out the sound of the MRI machine at all! I would much rather prefer this sound than the sound of a barking dog. It is incredibly cold (a bit tooo cold for this zero fat skinny bitch) in the room. The blanket provided some comfort. All in all, awesome staff & facility. Parking is plentiful.

If you know you need to go set an appointment because once you check in you will be moved to priority which will cause some of the less patient folks to be upset. The staff is always so kind and friendly when you are being seen and if you need blood drawn you are in good hands because they often get it right on the first poke. This location is 100% accessible!

I told the doctor that my time was also expsensive, and rather than any apology she had a negative sullen attitude and the bedside manner of an annoyed lawyer. Not impressed. If it had been a packed waiting room or had been told it would be well over an hour before being seen, I would have weighed my options, or taken a nap. What I will not do is return for medical care.

My arm draw was 10 a.m. My appointment with Dr. Bagnegni was 11 a.m. At 11:30 a.m., I went to the front desk to inquire. "She's running late." Well, if she's running late in the morning, what's going to happen in the afternoon? It's a continual lag. And THAT'S why I always choose a morning appointment. Dr. Bagnegni is wonderfully personable and knowledgeable. She asked about everything. And she wanted me to get a bone density test -- earliest availability. I had not had one in two years. Well, earliest available turned out to be August 17, 10:30 a.m. arrival, 11 a.m. test. That was the day I had to take Thomas Raymond to the groomer. So, I juggled a whole bunch of time frames to get Thomas Raymond to the groomer, me to the bone density test. And it worked!
