I don't normally review businesses but I felt I needed to review this place. You walk in and the whole area is wide open, I don't care usually but there's no privacy when filling out paperwork or getting into the mood for the massage. Atmosphere is a little lack luster, and the receptionist looked unprofessional and was not very inviting. My massage therapist was really good, she got al my pressure areas that I told her I had concerns with and respected the fact that most people don't normally like to talk during a massage. June is the best. I injured a few leg muscles for while training at Maxwell AFB. I even went to physical therapy and Chiropratic on base. This place is a haven, and Daynette is incredible. I've had massages all over the country and different parts of the world, and this place is hands-down the best one I've ever had. Ever! In PRATTVILLE, of all places. I live in DC but am home for the holidays, and on Christmas Night I felt so tense and sore from general holiday prep and the stress associated with it, so I knew I needed a massage. But lately I've been leaving any massage appointment I have feeling like I didn't get anything out of it, leaving me very wary of booking my next appointment. Thank God I found Total Freedom Wellness, because now I know where I can go to get a world-class deep tissue massage. Booking couldn't have been easier. I found Total Wellness on Google, booked my appointment online, and was able to see Daynette this morning. Best decision I could've made. It hurt so good. She worked out the numerous trigger points in my shoulders and hips, leaving me with that "good pain" that everyone wants out of a massage. She found a trigger point next to my shoulder blade that sent a BURNING referred pain sensation down my right arm. It was so weird- but so wonderful. After it was over, I immediately booked my next appointment for Friday morning. I couldn't leave town without paying Daynette one last visit. It can't get here soon enough! Today was my first trip to Total Freedom Wellness. I received a massage from June and it was the best massage that I have ever received. I have chronic pain and have not had any relief from neck, lower back and hip pain in years. June did trigger point massage on me. It was painful and I expected to walk out very stiff and sore, especially since I always do after a Swedish massage at other places. To my surprise, when she was done I was pain free. I followed up my massage in an IR sauna and she said that it would help stop any pain. I'm not sure I needed it for pain relief, but it was very relaxing to sit in the sauna for a half hour. June is also a very nice person and she explains what she is doing during the massage. I will diffidently become a regular of June's. read more

Amazing and very effective approach to massage. I probably have had 100 massages in my life time and this was the first time I was asked to warm up my muscles before hand. Yes...warm up my muscles. The muscles were warmed up by working out for 10 minutes on a vibrating excersice machine. Then once Malinda started the deep tissue massage, I wondered why doesn't everyone else do this. My muscles were loose and softer, so she could get in deeper. She didn't have to work through that tough layer of stiffness. It was absolutely fantastic. Then it is finished up with some time in the sauna. I wasn't able to do the sauna today, but they said I can come back anytime to sit in. I just moved to the area and have been testing massage salons out...I found the one I will stick with for sure. read more

I was nervous about getting a massage for the first time! When I arrived, the spa was very clean and smelled so great! The music/sounds playing were SO soothing. The therapist who did our massages was so sweet and attentive! The massage was awesome:) The prices are amazing here, as well!! 10/10 recommend! Will be going back. read more

June Ryan was awesome! Loved the shop. All I had heard about them was true. I have had massages since 1999/2000 various states/cities and June has been the best so far. I average about 1-4 per year.
