JT Bowden is good at what he does, "WHEN" he chooses to do so. had great experience with him, till…read morejust lately where he asked for a retainer which was paid, then JT back tracked, and only wrote a demand letter, that he kept the $1,000 retainer and proceeded to do nothing more in a 6 month time frame, although i have the text message proving exactly that in JT's words that i was retaing him to file a lawsuit. JT only returns calls and texts after you send so many that it makes you as a client feel guilty that you're bugging him. approx 1 return call/text etc per month, after numerous were sent to him. JT chooses NOT to respond to basic requests, and questions regarding the case which is pretty sad from what is supposed to be your retained lawyer. going to have to take him to court to get my retainer fee back. JT couldn't even provide proof that the demand letter was ever even sent. which most likely he didn't even do that. very disappointed. i would stay as far away from JT Bowden as possible. only reason 1 star was given is because zero stars is not an option. JT Bowden is NOT a trustworthy lawyer. BEWARE. screenshots of JT's text messages stating he was being retained to file a lawsuit, with him stating the cost to do that, as well as the screenshots of 6 months later him back tracking and stating he never said that....to be posted soon.

JT got a plea for probation, after the pre sentence report when we went to sentencing the judge called him up and could be heard saying "why did I agree to probation?" She even told me from the bench "you better thank your lawyer he really did his job today" referring to her agreeing to the no jail time after he spoke a little on my behalf. Thanks JT :) he charged me a flat rate as to avoid hourly charges and allow him to postpone as much as needed and being out on bail I enjoyed all of the time. I also appreciate his confidence, he almost seemed cocky but comforting for sure and after seeing the results it's well deserved confidence I was indeed "just fine" as he assured I would be :) I WILL suggest him to anyone I know that needs a criminal attorney :)

My fiancee and I had a very mixed experience here. We made an appointment to help us handle her…read morefather's property as he was showing signs of Alzheimer's. When we first visited Pat Simasko in March of 2012, he was very helpful and efficient in setting up and executing a trust. It was a complicated trust as there were many properties. Pat encouraged us to write e-mails to him if we needed anything and also to send information. He did not charge us anything extra for these e-mails. We went back to Pat after her father passed away in June 2013 to handle the legal work for the estate. We met with Pat and Sandra Harrison. Sandra was to handle the closing of the estate. Sandra was very hard to contact, and didn't handle getting a tax id number from the IRS for the estate quickly. We made numerous calls, and the receptionist would tell us to "write an e-mail". In December 2013, Oakland County sent us a letter saying that the estate needed to have action taken or they would appoint another personal representative. Sandra finally answered an e-mail asking us why we were delaying setting up a bank account for the estate. We pointed out to her that we still didn't have the tax id and couldn't set up the account until we had it. We also pointed out that she had promised to get the number in July and September, but still no number. We received the tax id in a towards the end of December and proceeded with closing the estate. Then the final billing came. There were additional charges for items that needed to be handled and that we agreed with. What we didn't agree with was Sandra charging us close to $300 to "READ E-MAILS". We probably wouldn't have had to send so many e-mails if she had just done her job in a timely manner. Unfortunately, e-mails to Pat on the subject went unanswered, and we just paid the invoice. By the way, the charge is $29.90 per e-mail read.

But my 1 Star rating stems from one person in particular, added in from the Lucido crew; Tiffany Caldwell... This person SHOULD NOT be in this position! Not only because she has a lazy outlook on not attending your court hearing but because she is absolutely unsympathetic/empathetic when it comes to being a victim! Honestly, if it weren't for the judge in our case (best judge I've ever met femminenio) I probably would have continued to kill myself in shame bec of what happened to me... She destroyed my confidence by telling me "they're not going to listen to you bec we past the bench trial hearing and moved right to sentencing" and telling me "you might as well not go" WHEN I SENT HER A PICTURE FROM THE PARKING LOT!?! If it weren't for the judge letting me speak (which I wasn't ready thanks to Tiffany) this case would have crippled me to my death! If you ask me, this person should be removed from her position due to lack of care or job concern! The best part about our whole conversation is; when I asked her " well, then, what can I do?" She proceeded to tell me that it "was not her job..." WOW, just wow... I hope I never have to come into contact with her again!
