I have never been treated poorly, never have had to wait very long, longest would be 10 minutes, and I love love love the patient portal. Whoever is in charge of the portal, always gets back to me within 24 hours, sometimes that very day. It is a great way to connect with your doctor and inform them of changes or concerns (not urgent concerns of course), instead of having to remember to tell my doctor everything during my appointment. I am confident that I will receive the same care that I always have with whomever I choose. During my past care here, I have never had the feeling the office over books patients. Dr. Spitler always had time for me, I never felt like she was rushing me out. I hope to find the same care in the doctors that are here at the clinic now. He also treated me for anxiety in January. He was very patient and understanding, but matter of fact. The female PA, Felecia Male, is rude. I saw her for a pneumonia follow up at 4:30 on a Friday. I'm sorry, but if you don't want to schedule appointments that close to closing time on a Friday, then DON'T. She rushed me, was incredibly non-thorough, and interrupted the nurse who was still taking my vitals. She was apparently in such a rush she was done with the appointment literally 60 seconds after the nurse took my BP. Dr. Male (Ms. Turner's brother actually) is SO NICE. I tested positive and was treated for the flu in January (yes, awesome...). I have never been to a doctor that pleasant. He was jovial, professional and honestly he's pretty cute, lol. One of the nurses/receptionists that answers their phone is rude, but the rest of the front office staff are very nice. My favorite nurse is the older lady- I can't remember her name but she has long curly black hair. Love her! They accept BCBS for a $25 copay. Unfortunately, I'm sure I'll be back, haha.

I'm so glad a friend referred me to Meagan Wempe for HRT. I've been discussing the issues I was…read morehaving due to menopause and my gynecologist couldn't really help. Meagan met with me and went over a lot of information include HRT and how our bodies change due to menopause and it is something we need to handle. She ordered detailed labs and then met with me to go over the results in detail. Most doctors don't do that. They put a note in your portal saying your results are fine even though you see some out of range. I started HRT in December 2025 and what a big difference it has made in my life. Then I decided to have my pap smear with Meagan since she takes the time to go over all the information and find solutions. She also ordered additional labs. Then met with me for 30 minutes to go over the lab results. Due some of the results, she ordered more test to be sure all was ok and continue to monitor my thyroid results. I'm so happy that she goes over everything and if she has any concerns request more tests. My last results were not good as it relates to my iron. Right away she sent in a prescription, requested for me to take a certain vitamin and to refer me to a hematologist for possible iron infusions. Since I'm a pancreatic cancer survivor, I already had a hematologist, so the office sent over my results. Sure enough, he ordered for me to have the infusion. I've had low iron since I finished radiation which the doctors knew but all I got was to take iron supplements with no follow-up. It's only because Meagan took the time to review the results, order tests, that I feel I'm finally getting the treatment I need. I can't wait to start the infusion. Maybe I will feel so much better with not being as tired or dizzy. If you ever feel like there is something wrong and you aren't getting the care you deserve regarding your hormones or labs, then go see Meagan. I'm so thankful I was referred to this practice and to Meagan. Also all their staff is amazing whether in person or when I call.

I was sent to collections and did not find out for awhile because of my address change. Once employed again, I made arrangements and paid the debt off to the collection agency. I have started having severe complications, which include severe pain, from the aforementioned procedure and called to schedule an appointment. Even though I have paid my debt, Dr. Schwertner will no longer see me because I went to collections. I will say that the front office lady finally had a pleasant tone as though telling me I would have to find another doctor to help me, had just made her day! I have been in insurance and billing in the medical field for a very long time, I have never worked in a place that would turn a patient away because of money, especially when the debt had been paid!!
